Resting on Nearly 12 acres, this private 3 story hand-crafted log home features sky high ceilings, intricate woodwork, wrap around porch, walk out balconies and a bar entertainment room to bring everyone together.

Nightly rate is priced for 10 guests. We offer your kids under 5 years-old to stay for free. Therefore, do not include under 5-year-olds in the reservation page, an extra guest fee will accrue for parties over 10 total. But please communicate with the owner regarding how many kids you have under 5 years old. Please be honest.

•There’s plenty of outdoor furniture on the wrap around decks. Sit back, relax, and enjoy abundant wildlife! Deer and wild turkeys hang out often in the yard.

•Our favorite hike which is super close (4 mi to the trailhead) and is a hit with the kids and anybody who wants to cool off in the water hole on a hot day. Easy family friendly half mile hike. Pictured in our photos.

oGeorge Mickelson Trail (Harach Park Trailhead) - The Mickelson Trail is a converted railbed that passes through the heart of the Black Hills. The majority of the trail does not exceed 4% grade, and the relatively hard packed crushed aggregate surface make it appropriate for bicycles of all types except road bikes with skinny tires. The trail is suitable for all ages and abilities. Hikers and horseback riders are the other predominant trail users.
