Great location good for families

A clean basic stay. Great views, lots of things to do in the village. Nearby restaurants, groceries, etc. Some minor issues re curtains, interior door to balcony did not impact our stay. A great set up if you need multiple stays.

June 2023 stay

The place was cute! We enjoyed the unique decor. We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony and we enjoyed our view. It was peaceful and quaint! The downstairs bathroom wasn’t too clean. We were not sure what to do with bed linens or dirty towels as we couldn't find anything in the instructions. We hope it was ok how we left it. Thank you for extending the stay to us!

Felt misled by listing

This place suited most of our needs however it has listed as amenities a gym, a sauna, a pool and a hot tub we arrived expecting these things my children were excited but what we found out is that non of these things were actually amenities of this property they are amenities of the property down the hill. If we wanted to use these things we had to pay a minimum of 135 per person or rent a room at their facility! For our family to have access for two days it would have required we rent a room there and it was over 600!

The listing specifically mentions that you need to make your own arrangements directly with the hotel to access amenities because access prices and availability is changing seasonally. We do mention all available attractions in the area in our listing but we are not responsible for other parties pricing and policies.

Description is deceiving. You can not use the amenities unless you pay $300 per person. It says a fee for mineral spa, that sounds like a massage not the pool or the amenities posted. The unit was run down. The microwave wouldn’t pop popcorn it’s on its way out and the oven took over an hour to make French fries. The bathrooms have crud in the grout. Smelled like pot the 5 days we were there and it was very drafty. The place never got warm. But I’ll say this was cheap. You get what you pay for.

Don't be fooled by Pictures of this place.

These pictures of the condo are from a few years back. There are no bunk beds in the condo, only pull out couches in the downstairs room. No extra bath towels were available. Bathrooms are molded in both showers and not very clean. This condo needs a deep clean from top to bottom. Dining room table was falling apart. Owners need to update photos of condo. Look at reviews before booking. I did not and was very unhappy with my stay.

The property needs some upkeep, It smelled like weed so it had been smoked in. I am a non smoker, The linens on the bed were old and worn out as was the mattress, kitchen sink faucet was falling apart, Smoke detector disconnected and in a drawer, half the light bulbs were blown. It seems like the property management company that is being used isn't doing the job they are getting paid for. We had friends in another condo on mountain paid the same price and it was well kept and updated. We spent all of our time with them while we were not sleeping.

Terrible

I had a terrible time opening the door with the code that was provided. And the the home is not as clean as it looks online it is filthy and very unkept. The bathroom is filthy, entrance way looks terrible, sheets was dirty and soiled all over. The staircase carpet is moldy and very dirty. Just absolutely terrible. and then there was no pool. They advertise it as if there's a pool. But you have to make a reservation online to gain access pool and that is a 170 per person per day. At carbon monoxi'd. Machine battery died and it beeped all night. I called the host of following day repeatedly with no answer. Don't waste your time, don't waste your money. This is not what it looks like online.

It’s in a great area but need to be attend to rat poop in the kitchen cabinet stain on the bed sheet laundry door hanging off dirty sock under the coach oven dirty and if your counting with the bunk beds don’t there non existent

Good location, but many issues

The location was good for us, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, that was about all the good we had. A neighbor somewhere next to this condo felt the need to smoke pot during our whole trip. This smell leeched into our condo daily. It was so bad we avoided being there till we absolutely had to return. Thankfully, the downstairs didn't smell as bad, so we all crammed into those beds so we could sleep with less smell. Apparently, this happens frequently. This was very frustrating since we also had children with us who were forced to breathe in this as well. Besides that, the condo was in need of a good cleaning, maintenance, and organization. All the closets had things just thrown all over in them. They did provide coffee pods which was nice. Not too many other supplies were provided though.

Not very clean

Location was perfect. But it was not very clean. The countertops and surfaces were clean but the floors were grimy and the bathrooms were not clean. The owner came in without notice while we were enjoying an afternoon. Def not updated as the pictures suggest. Several things were broken or missing.

Great stay at a spacious property just off of the main Mountain Creek mountain. Lots to do!

Great property not far from the Mountain Creek base area. Sadly we did not have natural snow - I imagine it would be amazing to ski directly off the property if the snow conditions are right. Clean and well stocked apartment - owner is easy to communicate with. There was a bit of a challenge with the punch key lock a couple of times and a neighbor had to assist - aside from this, it was a great stay and lots of fun - thank you!

Great location and property. There is a very small interior spiral staircase to get to lower level bedrooms. Larger beds very comfortable, bunk beds were not. Could use additional / newer towels and racks.

A Fun Spring Weekend

We caught a very nice last weekend on the slopes at Mountain Creek. This property was located about 5 min drive from the mountain, it is also a few steps away from a lift that takes you up.. so it is borderline a ski in and out. There are a lot of well stocked gas stations and stores, and restaurants within 5-10min drive distance. House itself was very nice and cozy, we were 4 adults and 3 kids and had little space on the couch but we made it work. Kitchen is decently stocked, there was a Keurig machine that had pods available to use (big plus!), toaster, microwave. There are two bathroom and two outside decks. The downstairs kids room had lots of space, but could use a little bit of a 21st century upgrade (as well as downstairs bathroom). It is very close to the Mystic Springs property that has pools and spas however you are not able to have access to that area without staying at that specific resort. We did have a bit of a malfunction with the heating system, but owners were readily available and sent a handy man out immediately to helps us fix the issue on a Friday night and he was back next day to finish (thanks Dave!!). Thanks for letting us stay at this cool condo!

Great view of the sunset

Overall the experience was great! There was a need for communication for parking and accessing the pool area that was not provided initially. Great spot to meet up and relax for a day before a big backpacking trip. Friends and I spent most of our time on the porch talking, which was also a great place to watch the sunset.

Great Stay

We went up for the weekend to play golf at nearby Crystal Springs. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. Although closed, having Minerals Spa/Hote down at the bottom of the hill is a huge plus.

Will be back!

This property was amazing! Kids were able to ski the mountain with a SHORT walk across the parking lot! Saved me TONS of driving to the base and back. Unit was very clean and large enough to have 6 teenagers and my husband and I. We had the best time and have already booked again for February! This will be our 'go to' place EVERY time we head to Mountain Creek! Thanks for a great end to 2019!

Great mountain retreat

My family had a terrific weekend filled with fall activities. The property is as described and pictured … so much to do in close proximity. The unit was spacious and comfortable for our party of 7. We had a bit of a snafu with the cleaning service upon arrival but Marc was very attentive and promptly remedied the situation. Recommended if you are staying in this area!

Place to stay for Crystal Springs Resort wedding.

Very nice, lots of room for 8 people. We would have liked to open bedroom windows as the weather was crisp and cool, but they have security locks. Also, we could not access the DVD player and TV downstairs no matter what was tried. But clean, lovely and spacious, kitchen was well appointed.
