The East Wing @ The Kennedy Manor

Welcome to the quiet wing!

The East Wing of the Kennedy Manor consists of exclusive use of “The Orchid Room”, “The Edelweiss Room”, and use of the sunroom , and upper lounge. Additionally, guests have shared use of: the upper passageway (connecting the West Wing with the East Wing); The living room; the theater and theater lobby (with video arcade and popcorn machine); the gym; and the "uglyhead pub"/wine cellar. The rental also includes complete access to the entire property and gardens and includes the use of all the decks, patios and gazebos.

The Orchid bedroom is actually a nicely equipped suite and comes with it's own sitting room, private deck and fantastic view of the Lehigh valley. The deck is lighted and has a small table with two chairs; it is perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The sitting area is furnished with a queen size sofa bed that is perfect for those couples that wish to have their smaller children in the same room. This suite, like all the rooms at the Kennedy Manor, has it's own en-suite bathroom furnished with a walk in shower, huge double sink vanity, and a ceiling mounted sun lamp.

The room is highly configurable and can be customized in many different ways to suit the needs of the occupants. During the day, the center table seats 6 and is perfect for family games, hobbies or perhaps a table puzzle. At night this table slides into the corner and out of the way to provide space for the custom king size Murphy bed. Day or night, a variable speed ceiling fan assures proper air circulation to meet your personal comfort preferences.

A well equipped bar/service area highlights the central section of the room and features a 60" wall mounted HDTV. The bar boasts it's own ice maker, toaster and coffee maker, and, like all our rooms, has it's own refrigerator (stocked with complimentary drinks including red and white wine and champagne). Enough utensils, glasses and plates are provided to accommodate small meals, snacks and/or light breakfast. An in-room wall safe is tucked nicely behind the signed Emile Bellot artwork.

The HDTV and variable speed ceiling fan are conveniently controlled remotely while relaxing in the Murphy bed. If you prefer to just sit and relax in peace and quiet, choose a book from the 'mini-library' located in the headboard of the Murphy bed and relax in the vibrating recliner.

All sheets, pillows and towels are provided as are the basic bathroom needs. The Orchid room is ideally suited for families of two to four.

Tastefully appointed, with a full-size bed and it's own en-suite, the Edelweiss bedroom is also located off the upper lounge in the east wing. The room has a large, double door lighted closet, remote operated ceiling fan, dresser, desk, and nightstand. It is equipped with it's own refrigerator and safe, a very comfortable chair and wall mounted HD-TV (WiFi is available throughout the entire property). the room features the art work of popular artist Alexander Chen. The en-suite bathroom has a large walk in shower and a double sink vanity.

Included with the East Wing package, the Upper Loft is attached to the Orchid Room separated with a sliding pocket door. This loft overlooks the sun room (with fireplace and self playing grand piano) and is accessed via the spiral staircase.

Situated on 4 acres, the home itself, while very open in design, has been compartmentalized to provide complete privacy for parties of 2-20+ persons (dependent upon your specific needs). Each room maintains complete access to the common areas .

The home houses an excellent art collection of originals and signed limit edition works and sculptures by: Salvador Dali, Pino, Antole Krasnyansky, Nano Lopez, Jane Seymour (Yes! That Jane Seymour), Fanch Ledan, Michael Godard, Itzchak Tarkay, Linda LeKinff, Peter Nixon, Emile Bellet and many other world famous artists.

The attached - yet completely isolated, two bedroom, “Guest House” is normally occupied by the house staff, but can optionally be included with any room rental or engaged separately . Additionally, the staff can be made available for light housekeeping duties, breakfast, bar tending services as well as dealing in the casino.

For dining, the Main House boasts a complete kitchen with two ovens and two food prep areas, as well as a formal dining room for 18 persons. An additional dining area in the kitchen can accommodate casual dining for 6-8 persons. The pool table in the casino has a removable table top that can be set up in minutes, making for a great buffet style setting.

The house is configured to accommodate different size parties concurrently and is perfect for shared vacations or large families. Each bedroom is entirely separated and secured from the others.

Come and relax after your daily activities and play the grand piano (or let it play by itself for you) located in the sun room or read in the solitude of the many available reading "nooks". With a total of seven fireplaces, even the coldest winter days can be enjoyed in comfort.

There many world-class casinos in the area, and whole Atlantic City experience is only ninety minutes away. A fine public golf course is located at the bottom of the hill and many other facilities are very close. Reasonably priced transportation to all the major cities and attractions is available in town.

Located ninety minutes from NYC, Philadelphia , Atlantic City and the Baltimore/Washington D.C. Area and located in the heart of Amish country, the massive Kennedy Manor boasts outstanding views, gardens, and outdoor decks that will please even the most discerning travelers.

The house is the perfect 'jumping off point' to explore the Northeast United States, and in fact, Niagara Falls and the Canada border are only a short drive away.
