A wonderful place to stay with proximity to the city

Really enjoyed the stay here! It’s just a few minutes away from some great places to eat. Convenient to gainbridge Fieldhouse and Lucas oil stadium. Comfortable beds and a unique basement common area.

Great location.

Came to town for a convention. Great location and cute home. The host was great to assist with questions during my booking. Next time we are in town we will select this house again.

Karen and her group were great guests and respectful of Irene's Getaway. I was very surprised to see less then 5 Stars in her review and in regard to House Rules as the House Rules are normal....."No Smoking inside the House, NO Products to be flushed except toilet tissue, and No Guest over the number of 8." These are all standard and very typical. Karen telephoned me two days after checking out to inquire about staying at Irene's Getaway again during the 2024 Indy 500 Race....soooo it appears she was pleased and wanted to return for another stay. Karen expressed she was not happy with the 2 month old Smart Streaming TV which has over 100 LG Channels PLUS Over 100 SLING Channels PLUS access to HULU and PRIME

Indy Eras Tour Trip

The property was exactly as listed. The owner was kind and communicative. It was perfect for an overnight stay with friends in Indy. Really good location, close to lots of shops and food places as well as the highway.

Great little house

Stayed here with friends on a guys night out in Indy/Speedway. Great little house. On first glance it looks a little dated but it's clean and has a great basement (with bar) and deck.

Perfect Speedway spot!

This location is perfect for access to the Speedway. You can barely get closer to the Speedway the the close proximation to Main Street as well means everything is walking distance.

PERFECT location!

This house is the perfect location if you are a race fan. For a house you cannot get any closer and all the amenities make for a must stay if you are in town. The house has a lot of personality and we loved the basement setup in fact one of the people in the group preferred the basement bedroom.

Good location

The house worked out okay, the bedrooms and bathrooms just laid out kind of weird for us. Overall house was good.

The house was built in the 50’s and none of the bedrooms have an adjoining bathroom. Yes, you need to walk across the hallway to the bathroom which was common and the norm for this era. I don’t understand why this would be considered weird or why only a rating of 3 Stars when the majority of the quest leave 5 Stars.

Location, Location & Comfort

We had a wonderful time, and this place was perfect!!! We did not need for anything and it was walking distanced from everything we wanted!!! The home was spacious & comfortable! The back deck/patio was beyond perfect to start and end our day!!! Would definitely stay here again if accepeted/welcome to come back!!

Weekend getaway

So neat to be right by the track. They just so happened to have fireworks the weekend we were there and those were neat to watch right from the deck. Very well decorated and cozy atmosphere. The steps to the basement were a little squeaky but we made it into an inside joke during the stay, something funny to remember :) would highly recommend.
