Wonderful beach house on the western tip of Pleasure Island in Fort Morgan, Alabama. The house is located outside the city limits of Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Our beaches are pet friendly! Bring your furry friend and let them play on the beach too!

Tooth & Nail sports a full size pool table in the living room. There is an open floor plan with a full kitchen, dining area and living room on the first floor of the home. There is also one bedroom, one bathroom and two decks on the first floor.

The second floor has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a deck.

The house has two queen beds and one full bed. The sofa is not a sofa sleeper. There is room for sir mattresses if you would like to bring one. Up to 6 adults and 4 children are allowed if you are comfortable with the bedding situation.

Sand in my boots vacation.

Stayed here while we went to Sand in my Boots Festival and this was a great place. Nice place, clean, and comfortable. Short walk to the beach and waterfront. Couple minute drive to beach bar and grill for good food. Dollar General just right down.the road. Will definitely stay again!

Great Vacation

Our family of 6 adults had plenty of room for everyone. Although we didnā€™t choose the property for the pool table, we had a time playing our tournaments. Easy access to the beach and local activities were just a short drive away. The property manager was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Short 3 night stay for local meeting

Location is out of the hectic Gulf Shores community so it is much quieter ā€¦ but a bit of a drive ā€¦ short walk to beach but still a relatively busy beach. Tacky Jacks restaurant very close and good. House very clean and everything worked. A bit dark decor but very functional.

Great Place to stay!

We had an awesome time! Cant wait to book again! Beach was close and not near as crowded as in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. Best part was we were able to take our elderly dog and she enjoyed just as much!

The property was great! Nice size, clean, and had most of what we needed. Kimberly was great. Communicated well, and made sure we had had a pleasant stay. Highly recommend! We will most definitely be back!

So much room!

The owner was so nice and accommodating to our needs. The view is the best you can see the beach on both sides of the island. The house is super big and has just been remodeled and has new appliances.

We enjoyed staying at the Reel Em Inn!

Would recommend to everyone to stay here. Plenty of room! Excellent kitchen, well stocked to cook. The view was amazing. The hot tub was the highlight for my grandchildren. So much nice outdoor furniture. The beach house was so clean! Kim was so accommodating to our every need. We will be smiling for a long time!

Excellent Host and close to beach

Our family stayed here last minute since our previous house was cancelled on us. Kimberly, the host, was very nice and accommodating. She had excellent communication and responded quickly/willing to help if we had any concern.s. The beach is just a few minutes walk away! The pool table was also a bonus for my older children for entertainment. There are three beds total in the house and the couch in the living room is not pull out. The number of sleeping was not completely clear when we booked the house, but Kimberly reached out to us right away to let us know the number of beds after our stay was confirmed. We needed extra blankets for a blow up mattress, and she dropped them off that evening for us.

Stay at Tooth and Nail

We took our teenage sons, dog, and my parents to the beach for a week. The house was exactly what was portrayed in the listing. There were a few things that needed repairing. The handle for the spigot to the water hose was missing so you needed pliers to turn it on, there were some light bulbs out under the house where you parked your car, and some of the doorknobs were finicky. It was close to the beach, the kids loved the pool table, and the decks and chairs were great for getting outside even when the weather wasn't great. Kim was in touch with us as we were coming down since the weather was a little rough the morning of our check in day. She brought goodies for us when we got there. Overall it was a great trip and we would definitely come back again!

Overpriced. yet, enjoyable.

I say overpriced because we paid an abnormally high amount of money per night for a house that should have been a quarter of what it was. Lightbulbs burnt out, cabinet door hanging off, balls of dog hair blowing around on the floor.. sand in the sheets on the beds. However, I will say that Kimberly the property manager was extremely pleasant to deal with and even offered a small refund after hearing our feedback about the house. I just feel that maybe the cleaners and maintenance people she has hired are not actually doing their jobs as well as they should be which is really unfortunate for her and this rating. She was willing to accommodate all 3 of my dogs and I will forever be grateful for that.

ONLY SLEEPS 6 but nice house

Tooth & Nail is an attractive home; Kimberly, the property manager is nice. The listing indicates the space sleeps 10, but there are only 3 beds (6 sleepers at most). The sofa does not make into a couch. Once I realized this (we had 7 in our group) --after reserving the house -- Kimberly kindly offered to cancel/refund my money. We decided to keep our reservation because most of the other properties were booked, and we have stayed in that neighborhood in the past and like it. Two of the 4 lightbulbs were burned out under the carport (where we grilled - a little dark) and the handle/twist knob to the outdoor water hose was broken off. We had to use pliers (thankfully my husband had some in his truck) to turn on the water - otherwise we would have had no way to rinse the sand off our feet before entering the house. Upon arrival, I told Kimberly about the light bulbs and water hose knob; she said she would have someone come out to replace bulbs and the hose knob but it might be Monday before anyone could get there. Nobody ever came. I recommend taking slides or house shoes to wear indoors; the floor is plywood and felt sticky. Overall, the house is nice, and the pool table provided hours of entertainment. The beach was close, clean and not crowded. We had a nice vacation. It was great to get away during this pandemic and still feel safe!

Enjoyed our stay

Fort Morgan, AL is a beautiful area! We enjoyed our stay. Kimberly was very responsive to any questions we had and she was very helpful. The condo was comfortable, a little dated and the beds were not at all comfortable. Some positives for this property include the location, the wonderful decks with fantastic views, lots of room to spread out, and pet friendly. Some negatives would be the beds, as I mentioned, the tons of steps, (which to be honest we were aware of, but didnt realize was going to be so difficult for our achy knees!), and the furnishings which were dated and not very comfortable. Overall our stay was good and we are glad to have been to the Gulf Shores over Christmas.
