We are pleased to offer you our family cabin on Big Trout Lake for your summer rental. One of the best locations on the Whitefish chain. Beautiful views. Cabin was updated in 2018 with new siding, flooring, windows, large deck, and AC/Heat. Extended dock for boats, swimming, and relaxing in the sun. Each of the three bedrooms has 2 twin beds. 1 bath. Washer & Dryer. There is a Smart TV and Wifi for those rainy vacation days and can't miss events you might want to catch while enjoying your vacation.

Emily Greens Golf Course

Family Pets are welcome (+$100) & the VRBO Property Damage Protection policy is required for vacationing pets.

Please respect the following rules; No outside tent camping, no RV's or tent trailers on the property. No fireworks. No campfires other than the firepit. No loud music outside. No parties.

Please do not use the inside fireplace.

Please respect the surrounding property owners, they are family.

This place checks all the boxes for a cabin on the lake! Fantastic deck overlooking the lake, long dock to get out on the water, a charcoal grill that every cabin needs for outdoor cooking and air conditioning for indoor comfort since it was 95 and humid during our stay. Perfect indoor/outdoor combination for an enjoyable getaway.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay! The cabin is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The dock was perfect for fishing, and we had so much fun jumping off with tubes and floaties.The cabin also has a great selection of games, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We highly recommend it for any family looking to enjoy the best lake on the Whitefish Chain.We'll definitely be back next summer! Thank you!

Place was very cozy and rustic. We used it as it was close to Pine Peaks Wedding & event center where our son's wedding was. We didn't have time to use the lake, did walk down to the dock and it is a lot of steps. Only thing for future renters is, parking is not as close to house as it would be nice if they had a wagon or something to haul items from vehicles. We did bring our dog and went for walks down the road. We only live 30 minutes away but it was perfect for the wedding.

Really great house with a view that cannot be beat. Only twin beds in the three bedrooms so couples had to sleep apart. Really clean and furnished for most things. The Host(s) are so wonderful and communicated everything well. Really appreciated everything they provided.

Very thing you envision of a Minnesota Cabin on a beautiful lake is what you will find in this property. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. It is the most serene cabin and location. The single beds were very comfortable and worked well for our family. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a yummy meal, and a living area to relax and watch a movie on a rainy evening. The dock has an amazing swinging bench and a nice soft lake bottom for swimming. Yes there are stairs to the lake but my mother in law had no issues. Trees, grass and a stunning lake view make this a wonderful cabin escape.

Great stay on Big Trout

Our family loved our stay here. The cabin was extremely clean. Not having to leave our dog at home was a nice part of the trip, as well.

Great cabin, great location

The Whitefish chain of lakes can get pretty busy, but this cabin is located in a fairly secluded area of Trout Lake. Everything about the cabin was great. It was quiet, good lake access, and very clean. The owners were very easy to work with.

Our Great-grandfather purchased this land long ago to build cabins for his three sons. Our grandparents owned this cabin and now we are the fourth generation of our family entrusted with the piece of Trout Lake history and are excited to offer this freshly refurbished yet very original pristine cabin on the north shore of Big Trout Lake, Mn for your summer enjoyment.

Southern views from the north shore of Big Trout (the gem on the Whitefish chain!) equates to extended hours of sunshine! Big Trout is a wonderful recreation lake for swimming, boating, fishing, sailing, kayaking, SUP and more. You are opposite the lake from channel traffic, but if you're a boater the channel to the Whitefish Chain gives access to many lakes, marinas, restaurants and Dairy Queen!

This property boasts an extended dock that reaches past the shallow grade. No drop off here which makes for great swimming and peaceful raft floating.

The knotty pined interior, log cabin is set on a peaceful, pine-lined lot. Enjoy your meals on the round oak dining table, or even better, the newly renovated deck. Bring your food and beverages and the amenities are turn-key - vacation ready!
