Endroit d’une beauté et d’un calme absolu. L’appartement est superbe, et très bien équipé. Dans chacune des pièces se trouvent des œuvres de l’artiste. Brigitte est une hôte d’une extrême gentillesse et de très bon conseil pour vous faire découvrir les meilleurs endroits suivant vos envies. Nous reviendrons. Merci Brigitte . À très bientôt

Das Ferienhaus ist ideal, um sich zu erholen. Brigitte ist eine sehr angenehme Gastgeberin.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Die verschiedenen Sitzplätze unter dem schattigen Weinlaub lassen die Sommerhitze gut ertragen. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der morgendliche Weg zum Bäcker nach Callas lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Brigitte gab uns viele Tipps für sehenswerte Ziele in der Umgebung. Das Meer und die Verdonschlucht sind in jeweils einer knappen Stunde zu erreichen.

So wundervoll wie auf den Bildern........

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Brigittes Feriendomizil sehr genossen .Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Sie ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite unkomplizierte Vermieterin. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, auch mit eigenen bewundernswerten Objekten der Künstlerin .Die Küche ist zweckvoll und geräumig. Das Bad/Dusche großzügig, schön und sauber. Die Betten/Matratzen bequem. Wir hatten zwar über zwei Wochen, wären aber noch gerne länger geblieben. Die Lage ist sehr gut um Ausflüge in die Verdonschlucht zu unternehmen (herrlich zum Baden, Wandern wenn es nicht so heiß ist) und genauso weit ans Meer, mit den tollen Stränden, an denen wir sogar in der Hauptsaison immer einen direkten kostenlosen Parkplatz am Strand gefunden haben. Es gibt wunderschöne Bergdörfer und in der Gegend allerhand zu sehen. Und danach kann man beim Abendessen auf Brigittes Terrasse die Ruhe genießen, lesen, in die Ferne blicken... die Seele baumeln lassen......und ab und zu den lieben Carlito (Brigittes Golden Retriever) bei der Ballsuche im Olivenhain beobachten. Wir möchten sehr gerne wiederkommen und bedanken uns herzlich bei ihr für alles .:) Reisezeitraum Anfang August 2018 Noch anzumerken wäre: Die Straße/Auffahrt zum Haus findet bestimmt kein Navy, Brigitte hatte uns am Parkplatz in Callas abgeholt .Der Weg ist sehr holprig und steinig, wir konnten die letzten Meter bis zum Parkplatz am Haus leider nicht unversehrt bewältigen. Der Spoiler am Auto hat etwas gelitten. Daher haben wir später immer vor dem Grundstückseingang geparkt, das war kein Problem. Brigitte hat wohl im Herbst vor die Unebenheiten ausgleichen zu lassen. Für nicht tiefergelegte Auto´s ohne Spoiler ist die jetzige Zufahrt gut zu bewältigen.

Natur. Ruhe. Entspannung.

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier richtig. Tolle Bergdörfer, aber auch Städte wie Antibes, Aix en Provence, Cannes kann man besichtigen. Für Badeurlaub eher nicht geeignet, da Strand ca. 45 min Autofahrt entfernt. Auto unbedingt erforderlich.

Paradise in the Provence

This was without any doubt one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Not only because of the beautiful house but also because of Brigitte. She is so friendly and helpful. Her personal touch makes the house feel like your own home. We felt sad to leave, but we will return.

The best holidays ever

Magical place, magical experience, magical host . Wonderful oasis of peacefulness, joy and nature - perfect spot to rest and reflect . All in a house of a most caring host who greeted us with lovely homemade supper and wonderful atmosphere . Not to mention amazing art pieces which were surrounding us and which came from a hand of Brigitte. Privilege and joy to stay there ❤️

Superb!!!

Unsere kleine Familie hat den Aufenthalt bei Brigitte sehr genossen. Brigitte ist sehr zuvorkommend und war immer erreichbar, wenn wir einen Tipp brauchten. Im Hause erwartete uns bei unserer Ankunft ein Teller mit Früchten aus dem Garten und mit selbstbereiteten Muffins. Brigittes Golden Retriever (sein Name ist Carlito) ist ein echter Familiehund , total zutraulich und lieb. Familien mit kleineren Kindern (unsere Töchter sind 18 und 21 Jahre alt) müssen sich keine Sorgen wegen Carlito machen. Das Haus ist schlicht, aber geschmackvoll und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Küche (großer Kühlschrank, Gasherd) und ein großes Badezimmer mit Dusche (Waschmaschine inbegriffen). Brigittes eigene Bilder verleihen dem Haus einen persönlichen Charme - wie jedes Zimmer eine Athmosphäre ausstrahlt, als wäre man bei Freunden zu Besuch. Wer die Ruhe sucht, ist genau richtig. Man schaut von der Terrasse aus in den großen Garten mit Olivenbäumen; das Haus liegt abseits des Dorfes, so dass man keinen Verkehrslärm hört und ungestört dösen, sonnenbaden oder lesen kann. Wer das Baguette mit dem Auto holen möchte, braucht ca. 5 Minuten bis nach Callas, zu Fuß ca. 15 - 20 Minuten. Die turbulenten Strände um St. Tropez (Beach-Club-lastig) erreicht man in ca. einer Stunde, die ruhigeren, familienfreundlicheren bei Frejus in ungefähr einer Dreiviertelstunde. Man kann in der Umgebung sehr schöne Wanderungen unternehmen - ein Muss ist die 40 km nördlich gelegene Verdon-Schlucht. Radlern verlangen die hügelige , aber teils auch sehr bergige Gegend eine ausnehmend gute Konstitution ab. Wer sich - bei annehmbaren Preisen - mit exquisiter Küche verwöhnen lassen möchte, kommt im 5 km entfernt gelegenen Dorf Claviers auf seine Kosten. Natürlich kann man sich auch zu diversen Wein- und Olivenölverkostungen in der Umgebung aufmachen.... Wir haben unsere Ferien in dem Haus sehr genossen und sind tief erholt nach Deutschland zurückgekehrt. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Idyllic sanctuary surrounded by art & olive trees

If you are after a extremely special sanctuary, set within extraordinarily beautiful natural surroundings and yet still within walking distance of a charming Provencal village, then Brigitte's will not disappointed. Her's is a space which has been crafted with such genuine thought and sensitivity, from the striking artwork which adorns the walls painted by herself and her mother, to the incredible homemade jams, fruit compotes and cakes which were awaiting our arrival, not to mention the beautiful vases of flowers, picked I suspect from the garden, decorating each room and the bottle of wine. The bedrooms, living room and terraces are all bathed in sunlight, and look out over an abundance of olive trees, lavender and exotic cacti. We left the house much less than we had anticipated purely because of just how relaxing and beautiful it was. It really is a place to unwind and rest with just the birds and butterflies for company. Excursions we did make and would highly recommend were: Grasse (the Fragonard perfume factory and Provencal costume exhibition which was a personal favourite, plus the town in general which is extremely beautiful and worthy of a whole day of exploring if you have the time), Tourtour (simply stunning!), Bergemon (including its superb public swimming pool - great for little ones), Claviers, Chateaudouble, Abbey du Thonet, to name a few. There is so much to explore in this area. We didn't manage the Gorge du Verdon because of the intense heat and having a small one in tow, but we did manage an early evening walk from the house up the hill, which takes you through beautiful nature and rewards you with exceptional views. On a practical level the apartment is exceptionally well equipped with everything you might need and is exactly as photographed. If something should be missing, however, I'm sure you'd only need to ask Brigitte and she would do her utmost to get it for you. In our case she was kind enough to purchase a travel cot for our young daughter. As far as the two apartments operating - Brigitte's upstairs and the guests' down below - it's very private indeed. In conclusion, then, the highlight of all was getting to meet Brigitte and her gentle and trusty companion Carlito the dog, and also Brigitte's sister Anne Claude who was visiting from Nice. There was an instant connection with them both and we feel we come away not only with a wonderful holiday experience but also new friends. Thank you Brigitte for such a good time!
