The hosts are the sweetest couple ever! So thoughtful and kind. The space was perfect. Very clean inside. Very comfy. I enjoyed my coffee each morning out on the dock. We cooked breakfast each day and had everything we needed. Would stay here again

Mickey and Marie are wonderful hosts. They make you feel welcome immediately. There place is comfortable, quiet location and right on the river. Perfect!! The kitchen has everything you need to cook and more. It was great. We were there for 3 weeks so we cooked a lot. Highly recommend this charming slice of Yankeetown.

Beautiful Riverfront Setting

This is a gorgeous setting with lovely views and pretty gardens. The guest house itself is immaculate and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The hosts couldnā€™t be nicer!

First of all hosts were wonderful. Lodging was beautiful, and cozy, and had beautiful scenery. And the fishing was awesome. I will definitely recommend staying.

We went scuba diving around the area- Blue Grotto and Rainbow River (KP Hole). The guest cottage was perfect for 3/4 people. Nice hosts. Great experience! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful accomodating hosts. Beautiful natural area in a largely undiscovered part of Florida. We loved our relaxing 5 week stay. The guest house was very nice and comfortable, with everything we needed. We felt exceptionally safe there.

Cozy River House

Wonderful spot on the river where we can tie up our boat. Mickey and Marie were wonderful, kind, and helpful and even allowed us an early checkin as the house was available upon our arrival. The house was loaded with all the amenities one could need. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice

I had a short two night stay but was pleasantly surprised by this place. Marie and Mickey were absolutely wonderful. I even saw a manatee in the canal. And the home was very nice and cozy with a beautiful view from the kitchen window.

Lovely stay in a small piece of old Florida

Our hosts were very friendly, will answer your text almost immediately, and give you and your family privacy. The unit was spacious and clean. A slow 5 mile relaxing trip out into the Gulf was much enjoyed. Fishing was excellent.

Great getaway

Beautiful property with immaculate garden. We had a wonderful, albeit rainy weekend. The owners are kind and caring, and easily reached if needed, but gave us space. I was thankful for the ability to bring our dogs with us, as we got married while there. Would love to stay here again, with more time and better weather to explore.

Lovely spot, great hosts

Very comfortable apartment, as represented. The yard and deck are beautifully landscaped. Dock includes a floating section that we used with our kayak. Excellent kayaking on the river, being alert to gators. Lots of cooking basics in the kitchen.

Charming and Friendly

This house is on the same property as the owners who have done a fabulous job of blending their entire grounds with the beauty of the River. The owners are friendly and very helpful and encourage their guests to enjoy the activities that nature has made available in that area. Kayaking, fishing, and just sitting on the edge of the river make a wonderful experience.

Peaceful and cozy

What a wonderful place to stay. All the amenities we needed. Very clean. 2 boat docks, beautiful garden and walkway to the docks. The owners are absolutely friendly and welcoming. We would definitely come back. No regrets at all. The town is just perfect for us. Very quiet neighborhood.

Relaxing on the River

From start to finish this was such a great spot for the boys and I to spend our Thanksgiving holiday together. They wanted to do something different so we chose this quiet place with riverfront. Mick and Marie were so accommidating and absolutely pleasant to book with. They were so thoughtful and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. We went on walks, swam with the manatees, went to the Archiological State Park to learn about some history, went fishing on the river, and just relaxed for our time away. We had everything we needed and then some, and the location was so convenient to everything! We would stay again for sure if and when we travel that way.

Lovely property on the Withlacoochee River with access to Gulf.

Our friends asked us if we wanted to go to Yankeetown to fish for a few days so I checked VRBO and found this lovely property. Prior to booking it was important to us to find out how long the boat ride was down the river to the Gulf so I sent an email to the owner and received a response immediately. Also spoke to Mickey (owner) on the phone and he was very helpful in providing all kinds of info on the area. We launched the boat at the Marina down the road and kept it in the water behind the house. The dock and patio on the river was awesome to have. We really enjoyed our stay. House had everything you would need.

River paradise!

We booked a last minute trip to an area we know we love. We had a few mishaps with boat trailer hubs that really could have put a major damper on our trip. Mickey and Marie were such gracious and thoughtful hosts, that we enjoyed ourselves anyway. The home was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Everything was well thought of. We saw a dolphin at the dock and caught a couple of catfish while we rang in the new year. I cannot thank them enough for the help and kindness offered to us when we had to replace not 1 but 2 trailer hubs in their driveway.

Wonderful, clean and serence

Beautiful location, relaxing, clean, beautiful, friendly. Loved the dock. The house has everything you could possibly need to be comfortable, everything.. Wish we could have stayed longer. Could have used some instructions for the TV, but that's a minor thing because we didn't really need the TV. Thanks, Marie and Mickey!
