This beautiful cottage house has a fun kitchen, laundry services are available, and it is located in downtown Cape Girardeau. It is skip and a jump to the the best shopping, restaurants, and scenic that Cape Girtdau has to offer. There is a Queen sized bed.

Wonderful location and very comfortable

I stayed here with my teenage daughter and newborn son during the 2024 eclipse. It was very comfortable for us amd very clean. The property is in an excellent location. It is close to many antique stores and great eats! The river is close and we had the pleasure of visiting the Old St. Vincent's (across the street) for Divine Mercy Sunday with the prayers, adoration, and confession. It was lovely! Matt (the host) was clear on directions and we didn't have any trouble contacting him. Even though we just live in Ste. Gen, I definitely hope to stay here again

This is a perfect spot for walking to Main St. for dinner or entertainment. Lovely cabin that the host cares about your enjoyment of your stay. Thoughtful special touches. Would recommend if in the area.

This was an absolutely beautiful cottage! It was so homey and cozy, I could have moved in on the spot! Everything was ready for me the second I walked in, from the heat being on to wine and snacks waiting! I'll definitely go back if I'm ever in the area.

Very cozy and comfortable. Slept very well. Enjoyed the cottage very much! Would stay again!

The cottage was so cute and cozy! We arrived after a very stressful day driving through a winter storm. It was so comforting and a great place to relax. We had a wonderful night's sleep and would definitely reserve this cottage again. Very welcoming.

Unique and welcoming

Communications with Matt before & during or stay was immediate and helpful. The cottage was furnished comfortably and tastefully as well as easy to find. We liked being able to walk to dinner & around the neighborhood after being in the car for many hours.

Cutest Cottage ever!!!!!!

The cottage was all i hoped for and more. The cottage had a great location, super friendly staff, clean, most comfortrable bed we ever slept in. It had everything we needed if we wanted to stay in and eat, but it was close to all the restaurants and the historic down town to explore some great places. We highly recommend this cute little cottage to anyone. Next time we visit Missouri we definitely will stay there again. Thanks for a great weekend.

Five Stars!! Got a good night's sleep here. TV has Netflix! WooHoo! Quick story: The hot/cold water in bathroom sink is reversed and it brought back a warm memory of a rental my husband and I had many years ago. I giggled and loved it! I look forward to seeing what improvements Matt does to the place if I ever return to the area.

Eden Cottage

We loved our stay at Eden Cottage. Property was clean and stocked with all of the amenities including wine, drinks, and snacks! Private (fenced), park-like area to lounge outside. We highly recommend.

Just a cute as the pics

This was a great little find for us. We were just passing through on our way to a family event and needed a stop-over somewhere, for one night. We love that the property is stand-alone (no nasty loud upstairs guests like hotels) and just down the street from the beautiful downtown Cape G area (def walkable although we had rain so drove). Other guests wrote about additional benefits that we didn't receive but we also weren't expecting so no biggie. What was a bit of an issue is that the mirror/outlet issues made it nearly impossible to get ready the next day. Although there is an iron/blow dryer in the unit, there are no outlets near a mirror - anywhere. There is also extremely limited flat space near the sink (and no mirror over it) making it uncomfortable. I simply skipped the hair prep and make-up for the day. But if one is dressing for an event rather than a day in the car, be forewarned. Also, it was noted in the guest memory book that pets are allowed and this was obvious as there was hair and dander attached to our socks and overall clothing. Not great since my husband has allergies. We saw the hard floors in the pics and thought it would be okay but still had some challenges with it. Overall, it was a good stay and we still recommend the place - just wanted to note things that others may want to be aware of!
