Welcome to the new Cabin on Nelson Lake. Updated for larger groups looking for a relaxing weekend up north. Private setting Year Round Cabin with direct and easy access to all trails. ATV, Side by Side, and Snowmobiling

Beautifully updated and elevated A frame cabin with big windows and great views of the lake from every room. Open concept design with large island, set up for family gatherings. Fairly private setting with almost 675 sq feet of deck to relax and cook from. Large firepit area for kids and nightly smores.

Enough beds for everyone. King in master suite, three queen beds and four single bunk beds have room for everyone. Not to mention a couple of futons for others. Did you see there are 5 bathrooms! Three with showers, one bathtub and two 50 gallon hot water heaters so you should not run out of hot water.

Main floor primary sweet with oversized shower and main floor laundry. Large loft with two queen beds and two bunk beds and two bathrooms allows for plenty of family and friends. There is also a basement bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds making this cabin perfect for two or three families.

Pontoon rental available onsite along with a separate dock if you bring your boat.

The Cabin on Nelson Lake is perfect for summer activities like boating, fishing and other water sports with 2700 acres of relaxing scenery. Nelson Lakes has multiple resorts to visit for dinner and drinks. Plenty of great fishing around the lake and even off our dock.

The cabin is located just off the ATV and snowmobile trails. We have direct access to both. With a large fire pit area and a HUGE deck overlooking the lake, this cabin has it all!

Plenty of parking, two docks for your boat or rent the pontoon. Canoe included in rental. Large deck for cooking and eating outside. We have a two grills and a Blackstone flat top grill, perfect for outdoor cooking. Onsite laundry, swing set, fire wood, a sauna and much more.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was great (even during the remodel), and it will be REALLY amazing once the work is done. The owners are super responsive and so helpful (and SUPER nice)! Would definitely recommend!

Quiet and relaxing

Great location on the lake yet close enough to town to run to the store. We enjoyed the quiet, using the pontoon on the lake, and riding the trails. Cabin had everything we needed and more.

Great Lake Cabin for fishing

The cabin was fantastic! Vince went above and beyond, by making sure we had everything we needed, and you can tell he really wants the renters to have a great time! We will be planning to stay here again in the future! Thanks for being a great host!

JUST FANTASTIC

We had a fantastic week!! The owners were incredible, answered all questions and help in any way. The cabin was very clean and it was hot and muggy thankfully there was AC. Beautiful lake and good fishing coming back next year.

Great place to enjoy lake living!

We brought our boat, the kids (adults now), and their cousins. The cabin was exactly as we hoped it would. Clean, well organized and everything works properly. We loved access to an open dock and boating and swimming each day. Also hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake was wonderful. Thank you Vince!!!

Wonderful family vacation

Our family stayed here for a week, 8 adults and 2 toddlers, oh, and 3 dogs!!! We had a wonderful time, we had plenty of space, the cabin is stocked with everything you could imagine, very clean, and the beauty of the lake when you are sitting on the deck!!! wonderful!!! we loved it here, we would go back in a heart beat!!! thank you Vince for the great hospitality, and sharing this wonder getaway with us!!!!

Great Get Away

This was a great cabin for our family of 6 and dogs. We enjoyed the cabin and the location. We were very satisfied and appreciated the owner checking in with us. We also enjoyed the lake and had some luck fishing. It was so nice to get away and have time to relax and feel safe during this crazy time. We would highly recommend this cabin for a comfortable get away. Thank you so much Vince for this awesome opportunity!

Summer Fun

This lake home has everything you would want for a summer vacation. You can tell it has been used and loved by its owner as it feels like home. We had a wonderful time. The fishing was very good and there were ample things to do to keep us busy for a week.

Family Time

A nice clean cabin with comfortable beds and fully stocked with everything you need. Everyone really enjoyed fishing and jet skiing out on the lake. The town of Hayward is close by for groceries or restaurants. Vince was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any of our questions.

2023 Chequamegon 40 weekend

The cabin was lovely and clean. The amenities were great and lake access was super. Vince good not have more gracious and communicative. We had a great time and if all goes well we hope to book the same place again next year.

We have owned the cabin for 21 seasons and just don't get up enough to use it every weekend. Our thought why not share all the GREAT times we have had with others. You name it, we have done it up north and each year is a bit different.

Great place for two family's or a larger group as there are separate living areas. The cabin is close to town so you can run into Hayward for anything you might need. Hayward has a great downtown not to mention shopping.

We are also close to the hospital just in case something happens.

Nelson lake is great for anything you want to do. Fishing, recreation, boating, resorts/bars and relaxing. The lake is not that busy due to the low amount of cabins on a lake this size.

We also have a pontoon available for rental. Everything you need for a family vacation.
