T3 renovated duplex of 70 m2 on the big canal in Annecy 4th floor, no elevator, a listed building in very good condition including:
At the first level:
- A kitchen open to the living room: TV, sofa, fridge, washing machine, stove
At the second level:
- 1 separate bedroom with a bed of 1. 60 with dressing
- A nice and bright loft with a bed of 1. 40
- A bathroom with shower,
- 1 separate WC (reachable from the main bedroom)
Nice view old city canal. Night activities restaurants and bars at the foot of the building. Typical markets and various animations.

We loved everything about our stay. Cute place & great location! We were wowed the first morning we opened the door and found the street bustling with life and market vendors everywhere. Staying in Annecy’s old town was truly special!

Fantastic position in the centre of the old town. Lots of steps to climb to get to the apartment which is a bonus as it keeps you fit after eating all the delicious food Annecy has to offer. Maybe difficult if you have heavy suitcases though. Friendly host. Good shower. Lovely views over the rooftops and canal. Great to be able to open windows for cross ventilation at night. Best suited for a couple or family as access to the toilet is through the main bedroom.

Fantastisque We spent three nights in Annecy and as described stayed in the heart of the city. As the temperature was high we used the fans to cool down at night. The house offers everything you need including washing facilities. Don’t forget something when you just walked out, otherwise you need to climb these stairs again.

Awesome stay!!

First, this property has narrow and many stairs. 5 floors. If you have any mobility issues, this will be difficult. That being said, this place is wonderful. Our host was very easy to correspond with. The property location couldn’t be better. It is in the heart of the old town right on the main canal. The views from the windows are incredible. The apartment itself is cozy; it’s neatly decorated and kept well. Any future return trip, I will ask to stay here again. Merci Nadine et Arnaud!!

Charming apartment in Old Town

This listing is in an ideal location in the old town. We unfortunately happened to stay during a heatwave. The 4th floor “attic” location probably wasn’t the most ideal for that. Especially without central AC. Arnaud, the host, was wonderful and very accommodating. He made our stay enjoyable. The flat had all the kitchen essentials, was in a central location, and those things easily made up for the heat. We’d stay here again without question!

Nous avons passé un super sejour. La loc est top. L’emplacement. Parking sainte claire a proximité. ( juste un petit micro-onde pourrait etre un petit plus avec un enfant.) acceuil parfait. Lit enfant a dispo. Rien a ajouter. Annecy toujours au top !

Tolle Unterkunft mitten in der Altstadt

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Tolle Basis für Ausflüge und Shoppingtouren. Märkte direkt vor der Haustür, trotzdem ruhig, da oberste Etage. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfreich (wohnen in der Wohnung darunter). Etwas ungünstig ist, dass das einzige nur WC vom Hauptschlafzimmer aus zu erreichen ist.

A fantastic location in the town center.

We had an excellent stay. The unit was great in a central location with easy walking to everything. Arnaud was attentive and very helpful with questions. As the listing mentions there are a lot of steps to get to this to floor unit but it was well worth it.

fantastic apartment in Annecy

Right in the heart of the old town, backing onto le thiou waterway, this place is a gem. At the top of a flight of stairs ( 66 in total ), the apartment is bright, roomy and surprisingly quiet, with everything you could wish for. Up stairs there are 2 double beds in 2 separate sleeping areas, a shower/washroom and a separate WC. Downstairs a good sized kitchen/diner/living room. Would have no hesitation staying here again. The owners provide everything needed for a lovely holiday.

Location is perfect. Right in the historic pedestrian district just steps from the lake. Very hot but owner tried his best with the portable AC unit. It made the bedroom cold but nothing else. We were there during the heat wave. Lovely hosts and helpful. Highly recommend. The 2nd bedroom is more of a partitioned off loft. Kitchen was small but fine. Too many restaurants to cook anyway!

Beau séjour

Appartement vraiment super. Bien équipé. Bien situé. Bonne communication avec Arnaud. Seul bémol c'est la climatisation. L'appareil est inadéquat pour bien dormir dans la chambre. Canicule ou non ça peut être un problème pour un voyage en été. Autrement, je le recommande vivement.

A perfect home from home

Beautiful apartment in a perfect ideal location set in old town annecy. Great location walking distance to everywhere. Shops and local markets right outside your doorstep. Lovely people and a great atmosphere! Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

My wife and two young boys had a great stay here. Amazing location in old town, with a semi-daily market right out our door. The apartment had just enough of everything to make our 8 day stay a pleasure including old world charm. We loved being able to cook for ourselves while hearing the street activity just below us while just out the window we can see the Chateau d'Annecy lit up for the evening. We worried that being on the 3rd floor (european 4th floor american) would be tough for us and our kids but it was not too much of an issue. People with trouble climbing stairs might want to look elsewhere but for us the walk up was worth it since it helped justify the 20 ice cream stores we ate from over the week.Nadine and Arnaud were deightful to work with and were very helpful. I would recommend this place to any small family.

Met heel veel zorg en liefde ingericht!

Heel aangenaam verblijf. Ligging is top! Je kan dit niet overtreffen! Doordat je boven zit, heb je weinig last van lawaai in de stad. Volledig ingericht, wat jr maar kunt bedenken dat je zou nodig hebben, is in huis aanwezig. Het enige nadeel aan deze woning is dat je op het vierde verdiep zit en dus telkens behoorlijk wat trappen mag lopen... We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden zeker terug keren!

Lovely apartment in the heart of Annecy

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was in an amazing position right off the main shopping street in Annecy. The stairs kept us fit up the the top of the building. The apartment was very clean, cosy and well equipped. Arnaud and Nadine were very helpful. Our daughter loved the 'cave' the secret passageway to the river, where we fed ducks every morning.

Great location

The apartment is in a lovely location in the pedestrianised old centre of Annecy, with local markets, lots of restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the beach and free parking. The apartment is well equipped, the only disadvantage is that the only toilet is accessed via the main bedroom. Centralised air conditioning would have been very welcome as it was very hot when we stayed, however this is probably not usually an issue.

Very charming, and wonderful location in old Annecy

We had a wonderful time. The view from the windows is magical, and it is very nice to be so centrally located but isolated from the hustle and bustle once you go through the external door that leads to the main staircase of the building. It is an easy walk to the lake and the train/bus station (once you know the way). There are many shops and restaurants just downstairs, and the farmers market was great with the fresh fruit and cheeses. Nadine was very helpful when we moved in and there is everything to make your stay more comfortable, tea, sugar, linens, cooking utensils, shopping basket on wheels, umbrella, books etc. There is an olde world charm to Annecy which I think visitors from outside Europe especially appreciate, and the lake and mountain scenery is very beautiful.

Appartement idéalement situé et très isolé de l'agitation du centre ville

Apparemment situé dans la zone piétonne du vieux Annecy (la voiture peut être garée à 10 min à pied dans un parking extérieur et gratuit, facile de trouver une place en avril mais peut être moins l'été). Restaurants et marché au pied de l'appartement. Une fois dans l'immeuble tout est très calme et on a adoré poussé la porte de l'immeuble pour sortir et retrouver la vie animée de la ville. L' appartement est très confortable et bien équipé, parfait couchage. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Les propriétaires ont été accueillants et à notre écoute. Accueil et départ très faciles à gérer selon nos besoins. Merci!
