Your own private oasis of serenity on Lake Lewisville. We would like to be habit forming. Your own Lake house retreat without the up keep. Come escape the concrete jungle and find your calm. Sit at the water's edge and watch the clouds roll by. Watch a painted sunset with friends. Enjoy some fishing. Your staycation awaits. Complimentary kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and fire pit. Wear a life vest when using any of the boats. Life vests are hanging just outside your door. Bring your ski boat. Boat ramp close by.
Use the fire pit. Fire wood is provided. Roast s'mores. Your own propane grill. Propane provided. Pet friendly. Please pick up your fur babies poo. Washer and Dryer provided. Full kitchen with slide in range, microwave, and dishwasher. Two and a half acres of grass, covered with majestic oak trees. Solar lights in the trees turn our slice of Lake Lewisville into an enchanted realm at night. Come join us. There are two short term rentals here. Our 2 1/2 acre lot has the cottage on the far left and the studio on the far right. Owner lives on site in the main house. Our rentals are positioned for your utmost privacy. Guest should know we are located in unincorporated Denton county. You will drive past some trailer houses and junk cars. We share this with you, so you, might not judge our neighbors. It is very quiet out here.

Had a fantastic time at the cottage celebrating our anniversary! It was a short stay but we were able to use the provided kayaks on the shores of the lake. The unit itself was clean and came with everything needed. The water bottles in the fridge was a nice touch and the host was very attentive and accommodating. While there is a small countertop ice maker in the unit, I would recommend bringing your own bags of ice, as the freezer does not have an ice maker. Definitely recommend!

If you plan on camping, this is a very nice option. However, we found the place to be uncomfortable and dirty. There were layers of dust indicating it hadn't been dusted in quite some time. But the real kicker was the bed and couch. The bed was ROCK hard so my husband took the couch. That was also ROCK hard. We actually left and went to a Marriott. The scenery was great, etc but if you can't sleep there it kind of contrary to actually renting something with a bed and roof.

We went for some respite/R&R, and it perfectly suited our needs. The cottage is just adorable, and exactly like the pictures. The view of the lake and the sunsets are amazing and if so relaxing! We'll definitely be back!

The host was very hospitable, kind and the communication was perfect! It was a perfect cottage that my little family enjoyed. We grilled bratwurst on the perfectly working and clean grill. Everything was organized and stocked, and appreciate the clear instructions. My son enjoyed his first time kayaking with me which is lasting core memory. Thank you!

Adorable cottage right on the lake! Has all of the amenities, updated interior, plenty of kayaks and life vests to use (which was awesome), a fun saucer swing for kiddos, plenty of outdoor seating with a fire pit area, etc. And the hosts were very friendly and accommodating! We just stayed for a night on the way down to our final destination but could have easily stayed for a week! I saw in the welcome binder that there were walking trails and local restaurant suggestions, which would have been fun to explore!

Peaceful Stay

This property is a perfect stay for families or anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Located right on the lake makes for a great start to your morning with a cup of coffee. Wish we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy more of it!

Wrote a review and it vanished.. trying again in less words. Hosts were phenomenal. Had everything we didn’t even know we’d need. Place was beautiful. Couldn’t ask for a more quiet and beautiful nature spot. The water is fairly secluded and in our 4 nights, we only actually saw 2 people on the water. It’s absolutely stunning here. The outdoor area is phenomenal, like a fairy tale at sundown. We ate dinner outside and watched the sunset daily (prepare for mosquitos!). Extended our stay an extra night because we weren’t ready to leave the peace. Our dog loved his time there as well, and loved going into the water directly. He’s an anxious one, but he was sooooo relaxed here. We look forward to returning to enjoy the peace and nature again. Thank you to the most wonderful and kind hosts, who went out of their way to make it just a little extra special for us!**don’t forget to enjoy the amazing tub and double shower!

Great place to relax

Our guest have come from all over the world. We strive to equip the cottage with whatever our guest might need. We make sure the fire pit is ready. The propane grill is ready. The kayaks are ready. Life vest are ready. Your choice of pillows firm, soft, or something in between. A good night's rest. Choice of coffee's and beverages.

Have a mini staycation without having to travel too far if you are in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex.
