LEGACY MOUNTAIN LODGE is the perfect place for a quick getaway, extended vacation, girls trip or hunting adventure. You will enjoy any season from the comfort of our well equipped lodge.
We're minutes away from Wolf Creek, some of the best powder skiing in the country, or take a hike, go fishing, soak in the springs and browse our shops, finishing with a great meal at one of our eateries.

Then head back to the lodge to enjoy a soak in our inviting hot tub, and watch the stars by the firepit.

Wake up to the amazing views of the San Juan Mountains, enjoying them with your morning coffee or cocktails at sunset, or both!

At Legacy Mountain Lodge you’ll find breathtaking views of the mountains which you can enjoy from sunrise to sunset. From coffee on the balcony to a cocktail enjoyed in the hot tub. Pagosa is an ideal place to relax, unwind, play and rejuvenate. The lodge takes all these things to the next level with the best hot tub views in town and plenty of games to entertain for the whole family.

The Lodge sleeps 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms.
All the beds were custom made by our son and each is fitted with a new Nectar mattress. There is a King sized Master on the main floor, 2 upstairs bedrooms with Queen beds..
The master suite has a large tv and full bath with a jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. The upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo and the lower floor Bonus room has a 3/4 bathroom with shower and a large Smart TV perfect for watching movies.

You’ll have no problem cooking at home if you want to. The updated kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need and more including extras like a waffle iron and slow cooker. Dish soap, sponges and trash bags also included. You might actually enjoy doing the dishes in our kitchen because you can see the peaks from the sink!

Legacy Mountain Lodge provides a full spectrum of fun and and relaxation for any age. The family room has a 55” TV over a beautiful custom stone fireplace, and an incredible view of the mountains, providing a peaceful retreat. Easy access to to the deck, with its rocking chairs, extra large picnic table and propane grill, creates a perfect way to enjoy our amazing view!

There is a game table in the open loft upstairs which also gives access to a view of the mountains along with the family room TV and fireplace.

The downstairs basement offers access to entertainment with a 65” TV, foosball table, mini fridge, microwave, propane fireplace, and a sliding glass door that leads to the porch with hot tub, FIREPIT and seating for enjoying the view of the San Juan mountains.

To complete the fun we have “The Shed” behind the Lodge which houses a full size pool table, giant JENGA, ladder golf, corn hole, and bacci along with 3 barrel tables and chairs.

The house is fully stocked with linens including spare sheets, towels, and ‘beach’ towels for the hot tub. It’s also stocked with toilet paper and facial tissues.

Have little ones? We have a portable crib in the bonus room. There is a toddler toilet seat/step stool and a baby gate stored in the laundry room.

SUMMERTIME ACTIVITIES

Fishing, Hiking, biking, horseback riding, ATV’s, golf, Disc golf, Kayaking, White Water Rafting, and soaking in the world’s deepest Hot Springs, are all nearby. Historic downtown Pagosa, just 3 miles away, provides wonderful shopping and antiquing and dining.

WINTERTIME ACTIVITIES

Wolf Creek Ski Area, Alpine and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, dog sledding, snow mobiles and sled hills are at your fingertips, as well as antiquing and shopping in historical downtown Pagosa.
Winter is the best time to experience the World’s Deepest Hot Springs!

We LOVED our stay here. The best parts of the trip were cooking in the beautiful kitchen and enjoying our meals at the gorgeous dining table. The house was perfect for a family or friends event! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The couches are AMAZING and the views were stunning. This was the perfect space for our trip. The hot tub was a crowd favorite. This was my dream home away from home.
This lazy susan tray was the perfect setup for our taco bar.

We vacationed in Pagosa last summer and loved the area so we returned this summer. The house perfectly fit our family and extended family. The area is beautiful. The outdoor game room was the highlight!

Family Getaway

Our trip to Pagosa was memorable. We had much needed rest and this home provided the means to do so. The space we had and the features included made our stay special. We were three families and each had our own space. I loved the location and accessibility. We will return and are for sure considering returning to this home.

Stunning Views & Relaxing Retreat in Colorado

We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. But the real highlight was the view. Every morning and evening, we were treated to breathtaking mountain scenery right from the deck. Whether sipping coffee at sunrise or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset, the peaceful surroundings made this a perfect Colorado escape.The location was also great—secluded enough to feel private and serene, yet still within easy driving distance to trails, shops, and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of Colorado.

Fall Break in Pagosa

We loved our stay! Plenty of space for two families. Loved hanging in the shed playing pool and cornhole. Great communication and very responsive. Highly recommended this home!

Overall, great views from the upper & lower decks. The lodge has the best floor plan. All the teens slept in the lower bunk room with the adults upstairs. The kitchen had more appliances than I've ever seen & my family (three generations) used them all. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, & dinners together. The large dining table inside & outside seated all 8 of us. The fire pit (best ever) & hot tub were so enjoyed as was the open game room. We preferred all the activities over TV. We also went to Creede, Purgatory, Durango & Pagosa for family fun. Our family (all of them!) constantly said all week how great the house was! It was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend Legacy Mountain Lodge.

Excellent spacious home!

Everyone really enjoyed the hot tub and games provided in the outdoor room. Loyce was always quick to reply when we had questions and the entire place was clean and welcoming.

Weekend hot springs getaway

We have never been to Pagosa and it was the perfect time to have a small staycation and relax! Can not speak highly enough about this location and property! It was perfect. And the property managers were communicative and great to work with from the start! If we ever go back to Pagosa Springs, we know where we are staying!

Amazing place to experience Colorado!!!

Very nice property with great amenities

Very nice experience with family at this property. We had a mouse or 2 at the house which they tried to take care of ASAP and a small issue with the dishwasher . We appreciated the quick action. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful home, perfect location. Excellent owner who communicates and is there to answer any questions. Of all the places we have stayed (annual trip for our family) this one settled in as #1 on our list. You will not be disappointed. This home has everything you need and plenty of room for everyone.

Wonderful property. Everything you could possibly need was made available with phone numbers to call if anything was needed. The back door entrance was great. Mud, ski gear…a place for everything. The grandsons thoroughly enjoyed the downstairs bunk room with full amenities. The dining table with Mountain View’s was our favorite spot. Everyone scrunched in each evening for supper, stories from the slopes, dominos, cards and no electronics. The ambiance of the home made being together everything we had hoped for. WONDERFUL

Best vacation ever

We had a great trip & a huge part of that was the home. Everything you could want was in the home. We especially loved the basement. Our 2 sons & a friend stayed down there & they loved having their own space. We couldn’t hear them & since they stay up later than us it was perfect. The view from balcony is beautiful & the shed provided games in evening after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!!

3rd stay @ this amazing place

This is the third time our families have stayed at this property. The house is absolutely perfect for time together and has enough space for time apart. The kitchen has all the items we needed to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The beds are super comfy. We love the location of the house. Short drive into town. About 20-30 min drive up to Wolf Creek. Book it.. you will not be disappointed!
