You will love the great location of this recently updated1,079 square foot Cottage which has two generous bedrooms, a Florida room & Dining area off the tastefully updated Kitchen with an overhead skylight. The private street & community is very quiet, your location is adjacent to the exclusive Snug Harbor area of Stuart Fl. A short drive or bike ride to Historical Downtown Stuart or perhaps during "High Season" avoid having to contend with parking and take a $7.50 UBER ride into Old Downtown Stuart, you're very close.
Hutchinson Island's beaches & restaurants range from a lovely 7 to 10 minute scenic drive. You will truly enjoy your location with Sailfish Cottage, it's ideal for just about any activity you care to enjoy during your stay including our many fine area restaurants & eateries together with all your shopping & personal services needs, in close proximity.
You will love the access to Hutchinson Island & Beaches as well as many points of interest in and around Downtown Stuart. All are quite accessible from the Cottage's strategic location.
Sailfish Cottage is well equipped with all the conveniences of home including full laundry facilities, there are 3 wall mounted flat screen HDTV’s & WIFI is of course included for streaming your in home entertainment during your stay on Sailfish.
The private fully enclosed rear yard offers a fantastic opportunity for you to relax and enjoy the weather in a secluded setting.
The Cottage is also pet friendly with a secured enclosed rear courtyard but please refer to our Pet & House Policies. There is a Weber BBQ available for your use on property.
You should definitely take advantage of our Private Community Dock as our Guests, it is a wonderful amenity and many residents regularly enjoy the fantastic Sunsets or enjoy fishing off our Dock where a great many catches have been made by our Residents and Guests. We currently require a minimum 14 night Guest stay April thru December and 4 weeks in high season.

Spent a little over two months here and we absolutely loved this place. Vince and Julia were excellent hosts and always available if needed. Only took 7 or 8 minutes to get to the beach. There were many beaches to choose from and the parking was free. The surrounding area had so much to offer. Highly recommend and would certainly visit again.

Nice little spot

Property met all our needs, close to everything, unfortunately we didnt get to enjoy surroundings as much as we both caught cold and weather did not cooperate. But our accomadations suited us well.

Beautiful cottage and property

Vince and Julia made me feel so welcome. Their cottage is lovely as is their beautiful private gardens and yard. They quickly responded to any question I had. And after 3 weeks, it was hard to leave. I wanted to stay forever.

Clean, comfortable and cozy home

We loved staying at this home and it was one of the better places that we have stayed for the winter. It had a good amount of space with a separate family and living room. Nice kitchen with lots of cabinets and it was well stocked for anything you needed for your visit The sliding screen doors were a plus, letting a wonderful breeze through the house. It also had nice outdoor spaces, and a friendly neighborhood with access to the dock. We will definitely be back.

Lovely home and area

Vince and Julia went above and beyond to see to every detail in this sweet cottage. It was very clean and has a relaxing, fenced backyard. Walking around the area was just beautiful! You can also enjoy the sunsets from the community pier which is just a short walk at the end of the street. Lots of quality restaurants and fun shops in Stuart center which is a 5 minute car ride. We could not possibly ask for better more thoughtful guests than Diane, MIke & Pepper. They treated Sailfish Cottage as their own during their nearly 2 month stay. We would be beyond delighted to have them stay with us again. Their cute dog Pepper was great as well and also gets a 5 star review! I'd give them all 6 stars ratings, if that were possible. The best!

This wasy second time staying in Vince's and Julia's house. I have stayed in many homestays over the years and as far as cleanliness and decor this home is in a class by itself. Julia and Vince are nearby, friendly, and accomodating but not intrusive. The location is convenient to the beaches on Hutchinson island and the neighborhood is beautiful. You won't be disappointed. Sweet Stylish Sailfish Cottage

Vince and Julia are excellent property owners. Their cottage is so comfy and organized for guests. The cottage is equipped with all one’s needs. The back patio is filled with beautiful blooming plants and flowers. The patio is such a great spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine. The beach is ten minutes away from the cottage. One block away from the cottage one can walk to restaurants and shops! We would definitely return to Sweet Stylish Sailfish Cottage. Jim and Myra

One of kind

The first thing I noticed when I arrived is that Vincent's and Julia's house is immaculate and beautifully furnished. They took the time to decorate it in a manner that makes a person feel like it is truly a home. A lot thought and time went into this. I stayed there 18 days and felt very much at home. The gardens are beautiful and the back patio is a pleasant place to relax. The location is perfect too. Close to everything but very quiet and peaceful. Vincent is very responsive and helpful. A perfect place! Thank you!

Perfect!

Former resident of Stuart very familiar with the neighborhood where this property is located so I readily booked Vincent and Julia's property for a three week stay to visit family. The location is perfect, halfway between Stuart's lovely downtown area and Hutchinson Island's beaches. The hosts provided everthing to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry with plenty of space to spread out with two inside sitting areas, along with a back patio in a lush, tropical fenced backyard. A short walk to the end of the private street to a green space and dock with seating to watch gorgeous sunsets over the St. Lucie River. The host met me upon arrival to introduce himself, explain various special features of the property, and go over the community rules. Vincent and Julia always notified me when they planned to be on property to complete landscaping and other outside chores. I plan to return soon.

New to the area, will be back!

We had not been to Stuart, FL before staying for 6 weeks in November and part of December and fell in love with the small town feel of the area. The proximity to the ocean (about 10 minute drive) and excellent local restaurants made our stay all the more enjoyable. We will be back to Stuart and explore further.

Location location

Location and price was reason for booking. It was a good base for us to check out all the area offers and proximity to the beaches and golf courses. Just wish one of the beds had been a king. Hosts were attentive and available to assist with any questions.

Quiet retreat

My husband , dog and I stayed here for 10 days . The location was ideal , close to downtown shops and restaurants and the beaches. and in a quiet walkable neighborhood .The home was clean , comfortable and more spacious than the pictures show. It had everything you could need. The owners were available if you needed anything. The yard was nicely landscaped and well cared for. Will definitely be coming back .

great location, quiet just as we wanted it to be

Right from the beginning, Vince and Julie were in touch to provide information. The property provided parking, a full kitchen, front and back outside seating in lush garden settings, with AC should you need it. The cottage makes you feel as a local, having the privilege of staying there. Julia and Vince are exceptional at making you feel at home.

Peaceful, quiet

200 Sailfish is a lovely spot on a quiet street. A beautiful sunset. Close to beaches, grocery, etc. I really enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful vacation spot in Stuart

We rented the Sailfish Cottage in Stuart and had a wonderful time! The owners, Vince and Julia, were spot on with their description of the property and their attention to detail.
