This is a 2 bedroom house located on the marsh with a great yard to play games or have off leach time with your fury family member up the driveway and across the street is the beach. This unit has a king bed in master bedroom and a bunk with a full on bottom and twin on top and another twin in the room. There is a loft area with a queen for adults, Large kitchen with Island and bar seating, large kitchen table, sectional sofa an chair in living room, Washer / dryer, outdoor shower and a full bathroom with tile shower, BBQ and seating for outdoor dining on the back patio. The beach is at top of driveway and a private sitting area on the sea wall with a firepit so you can sit with a campfire and hear the crashing waves. This is where you enter the beach from your own private stairs. Amazing sunsets on the marsh and sunrises over the beach. Newly renovated .PET FRIENDLY UNIT! This house sleeps 8. Rates for 4 people and extra people and pets are an additional charge.

Great trip!

My family and I had a great trip at this adorable beach home! It's location is so close to the beach and some gem spots of Maine are close as well. The place was very clean and felt like a beach home. I felt comfortable having my little ones crawl and play around there. Our dog enjoyed the backyard and area too. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, and so responsive throughout our trip. Would definitely book here again!

very enjoyable great location

very clean and quiet. My dog loved it. many water fowl behind it was great to watch them. could hear the ocean waves form the rear deck. wonderful private area looking over the water

Lovely stay

Nice rental, great owners, across the street from the beach. The owner allowed to use the pool at their motel, big hit the toddler. Big yard for the dog. The only bummer was that the dishwasher wasn’t working :(

Excellent location

We had a wonderful vacation. The location was great. We were steps away from the beach and close to restaurants and stores. The house was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been an umbrella or awning on the beautiful patio so we could have enjoyed backyard view. Our dog, Rocky, enjoyed it too. Thank you.

Perfect place for us ☀️

This place was exactly what we needed ! Our mini vacation with our little dog Jack was so much fun 🐕 The house was so clean, that’s the 1st thing I look for, you want to feel comfortable. And nicely decorated, loved the decor ! Across the street from the beach was great 👍🏽 We’ll definitely be back soon!! Thanks so much Shelli & Bob, we felt so welcome...

Beach cottage

This was a no-frills rental in a great location right by the beach. The owner was friendly and helpful on arrival (renters should note that the cottage is on the same property as the owners’ home). We experienced an issue with the hot water on our first night, and the owner was very responsive and quickly sent a plumber to fix the issue. To use the linens and towels provided, guests are expected to wash and dry them before leaving, so I’d recommend bringing your own, especially during Covid times. All in all, a nice stay right on the beach!

Cozy, Comfortable & Clean

We loved staying here, and would recommend it for couples or a small family. Beach is right across the street with private beach access. Marsh and bird watching in the backyard. Small deck, picnic table, and grill plus an outdoor shower. We will definitely book here again.

Perfect Beach Cottage

We just got back from a week at this beautifully updated cottage located right across the street from the beach (with a private beach entrance and perfect fire pit area overlooking the water). The house came equipped with everything you would need/want in a beach house including a/c, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, linens, kitchen appliances and essentials, a back porch overlooking the backyard and marsh and ample parking. You can walk right down the street to shops, the arcade and seafood takeout on the beach or walk the opposite way to the Lobster Pound. We brought our two golden retrievers with us and they loved their mornings and nights on the beach swimming in the waves. The owners, Shelli and Bob were very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay in Wells.

Exactly what we needed!!

My husband and I were looking to take a short "babymoon" near the ocean. Boy did we hit the jackpot - as it says, this cottage has Crescent beach out the front door and the salt water marsh out the back door. We got to hear the sound of soothing waves each day AND watch all the cool birds out on the marsh. The sunsets were just breathtaking (I'm certain the sunrise was as well, but we were toddler free and still sleeping!)!! The cottage was beautiful, modern, clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The owners, Shelli and Bob, were so friendly and warm we felt like we were just old friends visiting. They were very welcoming and hospitable and gave excellent recommendations for places to eat (and get a pedicure!). And Shelli was incredibly gracious to ship me some items I left accidentally. We could not have asked for a better spot to take a short break from reality while staying within driving distance of our toddler. We were able to visit Kennebunkport and Ogunquit while also enjoying spots in Wells. We will definitely plan to go back. Thanks so much!!

Wonderful beach house

Shellie's beach house was perfect. You can't beat the location. The beach is across the street and the back is a beautiful view of the marsh. We enjoyed sipping coffee and watching birds from the back deck. We even spotted an American Bald Eagle flying by. The interior was spotless and well decorated. Wi-Fi and TV's in every room.

Great home, fantastic location!

This property was delightful! The decor was enjoyable and everything you needed was available. The home was clean and fresh. The homeowner was very kind and welcomed us and our two goldendoodles! We are looking forward to returning for another visit!
