Barb's House - The Cabins at Crabtree Falls
Barb's House is our lovely mountain chalet! Tucked away in the woods just one half mile from the trail head to Crabtree Falls, Barb's has the most privacy of all our cabins. This beautiful cabin can sleep up to six individuals in three bedrooms; downstairs has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a full bed, and the sleeping loft upstairs features two twin beds. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all your cooking and dining needs (pots, pans, silverware, cookware, dishes, glasses, napkins, paper towels, etc) and the table comfortably seats six with spare chairs in the game room. The living room has a large, comfortable leather couch, a sofa chair, coffee table and TV with both satellite and a DVD player. In the game room, guests can find board games, books, puzzles and more. Barb's has one full bathroom with a tub/shower combo on the main floor and a half-bath upstairs in the loft. Out in the side yard, guests will find a large yard, a picnic table and a firepit for campfires. Guests are welcome to bring their own firewood or to purchase firewood on site for 50 cents a log.

Beth-Anne grew up in Loudoun County, VA and often visited her grandmother, Barb, who owned and lived at The Cabins at Crabtree Falls. Beth-Anne graduated VCU with a double major in Psychology and Criminology and went on to get her 1st Master's from GMU in Special Education. In 2015, Beth-Anne moved to The Cabins at Crabtree Falls to run the cabins and finish her 2nd Masters at LU in Counseling. She lives on site with her husband and loves running The Cabins and taking care of the guests.

This property has been in our family for three generations. We spent our whole lives here making memories in these beautiful mountains. It's a joy and pleasure to share this piece of heaven with our guests.

Sitting under the stars at night by the campfire with your family or friends talking, laughing, making music and memories refills your soul. Hiking the largest vertical drop this side of the Mississippi is a feat you'll talk about for years and a view you'll never forget. Picking apples with a mountain scape background in the golden hours of a fall day and the sweet, subtle smell of the orchard is a real-life dream. The pitter-patter of the rain on the roof is the lullaby helps you drift off to sleep as your tucked away in the warmth of a cozy mountain home here at The Cabins at Crabtree Falls.
