Lovely place to stay

A very nice house, clean and tidy with everything you could want to enjoy your stay. Even down to complimentary fruit and beers etc.. Hospitable and pleasant family. Really enjoyable holiday.

Cosy stay by the beach

We received a wonderfully warm welcome from the hosts, as well as wine, a basket of goodies and a fridge stocked with milk, meat, cheese, and drinks! The house was equipped with the essentials for a short stay, and was immaculately clean. The beds were comfy, and the Internet was fast! We will be staying again!

Lovely old single story house and plant filled courtyard

Enjoyed our stay here, where local people live. But no distance from the sea and the restaurants. Best to get bread and milk etc on the way. Big shop good at Hyperdino in Tias. But Unide in Yaiza good too.

Perfect

Immaculate charming apartment. Perfectly situated away from the tourist hotspots . Wonderful restaurants a minutes walk. Very kind owners. Spacious and very comfortable. Lovely welcome pack and drinks in fridge. Pretty courtyard is a sun trap and walls keep out the wind. Good wi-fi. Would love to return. Thank you.

Quite place in nice village

This casa is situated in a quite street, close to de beach of El Golfo. On the beach you have enough good restaurants to enjoy eating and drinking with a very nice view. El Golfo is a good place for restseekers like we are and a good base to discover Lanzarote. The house is well equiped, clean and when we arrived, we got a warm welcome and the kitchen had enough food in store to eat and drink at arrival and even more! Things to improve are the double bed which had a very hard matrass and the shower that was a bit small for tall Dutchmen. Thanks for the stay!

Great house and kind and welcoming host.

House was clean and well furnished with working facilities. Israel the host went out of his way to help and make sure our stay went well, and had food and wine waiting for us when we arrived. He brought us an extra set of keys and because there was no one booked for the next day, he allowed us to check out later, which enabled us to enjoy the last couple of days better. The town of El Golfo is lovely and feels very safe. Whilst we didn't use any of the restaurants and cooked inside, there are a huge number of lovely looking eateries within a short walk of the house.

Very comfortable little house in a great location

My husband and I spent 10 days at this lovely little house in El Golfo. A friend joined us for a bit and the house is plenty big enough for three adults. A family with two children would be fine, I think five adults may find it a bit cramped. The house is a short walk from the sea front. There is no view or garden but the terrace at the back is a real sun trap and well sheltered from the wind. El Golfo is popular with day trippers but very quiet in the evening. We tried four of the many sea food restaurants in the village and they were all good. There is a little convenience store nearby but it wasn’t open first thing in the morning. The kitchen is well equipped and there was a great supply of groceries including beer and wine to meet us on our arrival. The nearest big supermarket is in Playa Blanca and there is a medium sized one in Yaiza. The TV has British and German channels (possibly French and Italian too but we didn’t try any others). The WiFi is good and works on the terrace. The double and twin rooms are of a good size with plenty of cupboard space. The twin room has an internal window with a shutter and curtain into the living space; the single room is fine for one person. There were plenty of towels, sheets and kitchen towels. The only slight negative is the shower which is very small and the shower head doesn’t fit the holder properly. We throughly enjoyed our stay here. El Golfo is a world apart from Playa del Carmen, half an hour from the airport and as Lanzarote is not a big island, nothing is more than about 40 minutes away. There is a lovely walk through the lava field on the coast at the end of the village and good walking nearby - we did a lovely coast walk from the village of Playa Quemada.

Fully recommended!

Great place to stay, very clean, with everything that you need to prepare your one meals. Big plus for drinks and fruits left by the host on the first day. The apartment has a spacious terrace that is great for relax and sunbathing - and you can hear the ocean almost all the time! El Golfo is a very small but cosy village - with great views and very close to one of the main tourist attraction in Lanzarote.

Rien à dire ,tout était parfait !

Nous recommandons vraiment ce lieu de séjour dans le petit village d'EL GOLFO ,loin de la foule ,bien situé pour rayonner sur l'île! le logement à l'architecture et agencement typique de lanzarote est propre,bien équipé ,avec tout ce qu'il faut en produits de base . Endroit calme avec une cour/patio très agréable,ensoleillée, car abritée des vents par ses murs blancs traditionnels. Bon accueil par le père du propriétaire qui habite pas loin. Un grande corbeille de fruits,diverses boissons rafraîchissantes,lait,vin nous attendaient ! Merci pour cette gentille attention. Pour info toutefois : pas de chaînes françaises sur la TV, et chambre des 2 lits jumeaux en second jour (donne sur le séjour.). Mais en conclusion ,rien à dire,tout était parfait ! Les Bretons

Idyllischer Erholungsurlaub

Ruhiges, sauberes Häuschen, mit allem Komfort, was man braucht, um sich selbst zu verpflegen. Große, sonnige, windgeschützte Innenterrasse, da der Passatwind im Ort doch sehr heftig werden kann. 3 Schlafzimmer, mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten, drinnen und draußen, sowie 5 Sonnenliegen. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert um die Insel zu erkunden. Im Ort gibt es mehrere Restaurants direkt am Meer und einen kleinen Minimarkt. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zur Begrüßung erwartete uns ein Obstkorb, Wasser, Wein, Bier und andere Getränke. Eine kleine Auswahl an Gewürzen, Tee und Kaffee ist auch vorhanden. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir empfehlen dieses Haus gerne weiter. Danke für den schönen Urlaub. Yvonne und Thomas

14 Tage El Golfo

Meine Frau und ich hatten uns für 14 Tage dieses herzlich, komplett eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, gemietet. Wir hatten einen (erforderlichen) Mietwagen und haben tatsächlich jeden Tag schöne Erlebnisse. Baden war nicht so unser Ding, aber es gibt genug interessanter Dinge zu sehen. Meine Frau und ich gaben jedem Tag beide den Daumen nach oben. Danke, das Haus wäre total super. Empfang mit Wein, Käse Schinken und Bier. Ein perfekter Start. Gerne wieder

Sehr schönes Haus im Fischer-Stil

Wir wurden sehr nett vom Vermieter empfangen, der uns reichlich Getränke, Obst und einige Lebensmittel brachte. Sehr gut ausgestattetes geräumiges Haus, reichlich Handtücher(!) Kurzer Weg zum Strand und zu Restaurants - wird tagsüber reichlich besucht. Die direkte Nachbarschaft ist aber angenehmerweise authentisch. Leihwagen ist zum Erkunden der Gegend sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Charmante location

Hôte et maison très agréables. La maison est charmante , propre et fonctionnelle; de l'espace pour tout le monde. Monsieur Gonzalez est très serviable , à l'écoute et disponible. L'environnement est propice aux ballades dans le parc des volcans, et de sites remarquables. Je recommande grandement cette location.

Excellent séjour

Un très bon accueil avec beaucoup d'attention de la part du logeur, quelques provisions dans le réfrigérateur qui ont été bien utiles. Maison très bien équipée et fonctionnelle, il ne manque rien même pas des jouets pour les enfants. La propreté est parfaite. On y a passé un excellent séjour.

Nous avons passé une semaine idyllique! La famille Gonzalez est adorable et prévenante, leur maison est un vrai havre de paix. Un panier de provision nous attendait (fruit, boisson fraîche, fromage) dans le cas où nous n'avions pas faire de courses avant notre arrivée. El Golfo est très bien situé pour visiter toute l'île et rentrer se reposer au calme. Bref, c'était parfait! Merci!
