Majestic Cabin overlooking the Lake!

Home is beautifully redone taking advantage of gorgeous panoramic views, making your vacation relaxing for all. We are located about a mile from the heart of Bear Lakes Garden City, featuring FAMOUS raspberry shakes. Beach excess to some of bear lakes best beaches less than 5 miles away. 15 Minutes to Beaver Mountain Ski Resort, Winter is better than the summer up here! Lots of windows capturing all the tranquil views of the lake. Large porch, with outdoor eating space and large outdoor sectional. All beds are queen or bigger, so you can fit adults or children. Hot tub! We are here for anything you need, just let us know. Located in the beautiful Snow Meadows community. We are located near the top of the community in a circle, so very few cars drive by. Making a peaceful and not having to worry about others.

Awesome getaway!

I took my partner for a weekend getaway here in the winter and we had an amazing time. Our dogs loved the property and being able to be outside! There is no fence so depends on your dogs training, but we were able to let ours roam as it was the off season and no one was staying near us. It wasn’t hard to keep the house warm without central heating and we had plenty of room for everything we wanted to do! I would happily stay again.

Great for a long weekend!

Stayed here with family for a long weekend. It was perfect for us because it had enough bedrooms for everyone, had beautiful views, and a great location for easy access to beach and town. Only drawback was the grass in the yard was more weeds than grass but that is understandable with the lack of water there over the last few years. Overall I would recommend staying here and am planning on returning next year!

Easy check in/ checkout. Wi-fi was not working for our entire stay. Host made it sound like we were just connecting to the wrong network until our 2nd night. Issue never got fixed. There were some DVD movies that would have been fun in the answers of the wi-fi. Alas, not even the DVD player worked. Not enough working fans for the very hot second floor bedrooms. We did have plenty of space for my family so we could all be separate when family time was overwhelming. We loved how close it was to the lake so we could get there easily.

Bear Lake getaway

The house was in a great location. We loved the setup, especially the large covered porch overlooking the lake with plenty of space to enjoy outdoor eating and lounging. The Jacuzzi was great at sunset or at night under the stars. Close to town and great beaches. The only issues were with the wifi going out for a full day and we had to replace the batteries in two of the remotes. There is no AC, so all the windows had to be open for cross breezes and the fans needed to be on, but Bear Lake cools down quite a bit at night so it wasn't a huge deal until the electricity went out our last night, then it was hot. With all that said, we had a great time and would totally rent this location again. It was clean and welcoming.

Some good some bad

The house was extremely hot, no air conditioning, we had to leave early. The children had to sleep on the floor down stairs, the bunk beds were unsteady and did not feel safe. This property had beautiful views of Bear Lake, the house had some nice features but needs updating and deep cleaning in some areas, it only has one full bathroom with a bath tub and shower, the other bath room has a toilet, sink and washer and dryer. There is no bathtub or shower in the second bathroom.

Good view, but cabin is uncomfortable, shabbier than pictured, and grimy. It is only superficially cleaned. The mattresses are thin and saggy. The couch is a broken down, lumpy horror. Many of the blinds are broken or missing. Some BR outlets don’t work. Only three washcloths in the house. There are no beach chairs, umbrellas, or toys in the shed as promised. The dining room fan was stuck on high, so my sister and I had to stand on chairs to unwind the fan cord from around the fixture and turn it down. The kitchen faucet is missing the crosspiece and splashes water. A whole piece of the pictured (“ample parking space”) view is gone, replaced by a new building. The bar stools don’t stay up when you sit on them.The toilets, sinks, and tubs were clean. I don’t think anything else has been cleaned for years. The sills were full of grime. The floor and couch had visible crumbs and a used bandaid. The LR rug is crusty and disgusting. The two fans were filthy and one had disintegrated. The vacuum was clogged and stunk. We had to clean the grimy stair handrails. The deck rug had big greasy black spots. Nightstand drawers held crumbs. The deck door had big handprints on it.Cost does not match value. We didn’t want a team of cleaners and a handyman there all day - that would have been a solution for the next guests, not for us.Info we tried to get: 1 queen bed downstairs, the rest up. Shower is upstairs. FYI, queen bunks require children or slim adults to access.

4 stars for cleanliness/comfort

Overall the place was fine. It was just not super clean. Lots of dirt and grime on walls and doors, dust, shower curtain was really nasty. Beds and pillows were really uncomfortable. Only 2 pillows per room, so no extras if you are a pillow person. They had you put all sheets in the wash- that's 5 beds. Washing that many sheets at a time just can't be clean/sanitary. Had a musty/dog pee smell-which the property manager did address. Didn't get to use basketball court because they were painting, not a big deal except they started at 4:30 in the morning!!!

Ski the beav trip for the week.

Overall okay place. Nice location but a bit dated home and appliances. Mice droppings under the bed wasn’t fun to see. Especially after paying such high cleaning cost. Not friendly cooking supplies and needs a deep cleaning throughout. Nice Big beds. Home best for two couples max. Quick drive from ski resort. Great view from deck, and family room. Lacking complete privacy with glass sliding door. No curtains. Received reminder check-out message offering later check out time or 25-50% off another night. Asked for noon check out but was denied. Not sure why was offered.

Family Fun-tastic

This home was a terrific getaway for our group! Check in was so easy. We loved the cozy spaces and that we each had a private bedroom space but then places to gather. The deck was perfect for this! We even were able to bbq for ourselves. Very relaxing and minutes to Bear Lake and raspberry shakes.

Great overall!

Loved the place we stayed at! Very close to town and the lake! Probably will stay here again! My only complaint is that for checking in I had to go out of my way to ask the host for the house address and a way to get in to the house but he was very responsive each time I had questions, there was also no AC so it did get a little hot some nights but other nights cooled the place down a lot.

Nice location but no A/C

We loved the location of the property. The owner was very responsive. The views are amazing. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was stocked. However, a few things could have made our stay better. This one is big. There is NO A/C at this property. Looking back, the listing does only say heat. The listing isn’t deceiving, but could have been made clear the lack of A/C. There aren’t even wall units. We assumed all places nowadays have A/C. We stayed in the summer which made sleeping unbearable. The property itself isn’t that clean. The cleaners were just leaving when we got there but they just did a surface clean.

Thanks for the review and letting people know there is no AC definitely not somthing we are trying to hide. Sorry it landed us a 3 star review even though it was as listed without A/C and everything else was 5 star.

Comfort and Relaxing

We loved the deck view! Seating and table on the deck were our favorite place to place games and visit after a day on the lake. Location is awesome! Easy access to Garden City and the Beach, just minutes away from everything.
