Welcome to the House of travelers a newly renovated apartment in the charm of an Art Nouveau building in the Republic area, located on the 2nd floor.
The house can accommodate up to 4 people.
Composed of large living room with double sofa bed, flat screen TV corner, dining table, large bedroom with king size bed, separate kitchen with everything needed for cooking, bathroom with shower RENEWED IN JANUARY 2017, parquet floors.
Equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Wi-Fi.
hairdryer, bed linens and towels, washing machine. Air conditioning.
The apartment overlooks a tree-lined street with little traffic, so it is very quiet and comfortable.
Our guests will find the need for a quick breakfast (coffee, various teas, jams. Biscuits) and many cold drinks in the fridge, a complimentary bottle of Italian wine.
Location:
Located close to Republic Square is a short distance from both the Via Montenapoleone in Milan that the new skyline. It 'a lively area full of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets.
For those arriving from the airports of Malpensa and Linate ORIO AL SERIO is 5 min. walk from the Central Station BUS TERMINAL
The apartment is a five minute walk from the Central Station and ten minutes. walk to the train station of Porta Garibaldi (Malpensa Express, Italo, and TGV railway link) and to Metro MM2, convenient to the Cadorna station and the Navigli district.
It 'also the direct line to reach the San Raffaele Hospital and the Forum of Assago.
A few minutes away is the stop line MM3 (Republic) gets you into the center and the Duomo-Montenapoleone-Via della Spiga.
Corso Como and Brera district are within walking distance in 10 minutes. Being close to the passer Porta Garibaldi you can quickly reach the new Fair Rho - Milan. Under the house there is a two tram lines that reach the Navigli area, Porta Genova and the area Lambrate

We really loved staying at Riccardoā€™s home. It was so near Milano Centrale station so it was easy for us to move around the city. He was an excellent host.

Riccardo patiently waited for us to find our way from Milano Centrale station. The apartment is very close to the station but we took a wrong turn so it took a little longer to find the place.Riccardo gave us tips on what to see and how to use the Metro and trams which we took advantage of. Heā€™s a very nice and gracious host.The apartment is very convenient to stores and restaurants and centrally located. It was clean and large enough to accommodate three adults. It is on a busy street so be prepared for typical city noise. We kept the windows closed at night which helped.Overall I highly recommend Riccardo and his apartment if you are looking for a place to stay close to the main train station. Grazie Riccardo!

Perfect

This was the perfect apartment for a visit to Milan. Just a 10 minute walk from the very grand central station on a pretty street. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with a nice view from the balcony. We were welcomed warmly by Riccardo and Alessandra. This was our first time in Milan and they were so helpful providing information about trams etc just make our visit go smoothly. Plenty of reasonably priced cafes and restaurants nearby to eat after a busy day. I would very much recommend this property

Riccardo was very thorough on places to go eat, sites to check out, trains to help us get to where we needed to go. In a perfect location and about a 8 minute walk from Milan central station. Just outside there is a tram that goes by that takes you to convenient locations

Riccardo and his apartment were fantastic. We needed to suddenly add a night to our stay and Riccardo was able to accommodate us. In addition, he met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. There was a grocery store next door and incredible restaurants within a block or two. The Metro station was close by and the tram ran right by the apartment.

Riccardo couldnā€™t have been a more supportive host. He met us at Milano Centrale and we walked together to the apartment. The location was great and the apartment was well set up and comfortable. There had been some adjustments required to the heating system and Riccardo attended to these promptly and efficiently. The only problem for our family was that the trams passing below on the street were quite noisy and intrusive at night. This unfortunately affected sleep.

We truly enjoyed our stay, the location is GREAT!

A quick walk away to the train, metro station. Made it so convenient to move around in Milan. The apartment is clean, safe, inviting and has all the accommodations needed. Grocery store steps away. This is a great place to stay when staying in Milan.

Great location and very comfortable space

We were in Ravenna for only three nights, and this was the perfect spot; close to the train station and also close to all the sites we wanted to see. The host met us at the apartment at our schedule time and check-in was very easy. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, but we always had breakfast at homeā€¦ the sofa in the main room is very comfortable as was the bed. Shower was great.

Great apartment, even better hosts

Great apartment, very close to the train station, market and many restaurants. Riccardo is a super host. Very helpful, nice to speak with and generous with his time. The only negative point, is that the street is noisy because of the tram.

It was just wonderful to be able walk to and from the train station. Mini-mart right next door and the luxury of a washing machine! Very well appointed and cozy apartment. We would definitely stay again!

The apartment was just the right size and location for us. It is close to the central train station. Owner Riccardo met us at the apartment, explained how everything worked, and quickly responded to questions we had. We would gladly stay here again.

Charming Apartment

This apartment was in a very eclectic neighborhood with a mix of residential, commercial and retail establishments. It was as advertised, very clean and very functional. There were about 20 restaurants of all flavors within a few blocks walking distance. It was only a few blocks from the train station which eliminated the need for a taxi. I would stay there again without any reservations.

Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property which is perfectly located for exploring Milan. We were met by Riccardo at the train station and he was extremely helpful explaining the nuances of the apartment. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Fantastic place to experience Milan

The property was within easy walking distance to Milano Centrale, even with luggage! The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. Riccardo met us at the train station and explained everything to us and he had wonderful restaurant recommendations! Our stay was wonderful. Would recommend this property to anyone!

Strategically located, helpful host

Riccardo's place is very central. Walking distance to Milan central and Republicca metro stations; trams are just in front of the apartment building. A supermarket is also just downstairs. Riccardo's place is clean and well designed. Riccardo is very helpful and nice. He welcomed us in his apartment and show us everything in the apartment. He also recommended some beautiful places to visit and a great restaurant.

Great apartment

This apartment is very nice. The location is excellent just 3 minutes walk from the Central train station but an easy walk to the rest of the sites in Milan. It is also really close to the metro which we used a few times. The owner was great to communicate with and responded quickly. He also offered to meet us at the train station and show us where the apartment is located. The apartment is clean and the bathroom is great with good water pressure. The master bed is comfortable but we did not use the hide a bed so we cannot comment on that. Our only small issue was with the air conditioning. It is a portable unit and it needed to vent outside. To do this you have to leave a balcony door open about 8 inches to run the vent outside, so you are not able to use the AC at night if you want to close the balcony door. We chose to close the balcony door as there are mosquitoes that would come into the apartment. All in all this is a nice place.
