With our location being adjacent to the French Quarter, you have a myriad of shopping opportunities starting with the shops of the Marigny, the French Market (5 - 7 minute walk, boutique shopping in the French Quarter, or take the Streetcar or Trolley to Canal Place, the Riverwalk Outlet Shop’s, Jax Brewery or Streetcar to Magazine Street.

Live music, eclectic boutique shopping, and some of the best cuisine New Orleans has to offer is all within a very short walk. The neighborhood is one of the most desired and you will find no shortage of locals to interact.

This historic home offers modern conveniences and includes WiFi and Smart TV's . Enjoy the PRIVATE BACK COURTYARD and easily zen out to the music from Frenchmen St. The courtyard provides a private setting for Cocktails or light breakfast or just kicking back.

Went to New Orleans with my son, daughter and future son-in-law. The house fit our needs perfectly, with three bathrooms. Felt safe with the alarm systems since there were homeless people in the area. The owner, Daphne was great. She responded quickly to a chirping noise that was coming from an extra smoke detector locked in a closet. We enjoyed our trip and our time spent here.

The VRBO was just as described. Perfect location right off Frenchmen Street, and the back patio was a great private spot to relax.

Spacious kitchen, comfortable living room, clean bathrooms. The home is larger and lovelier in person than the photographs are able to reveal. Very walkable to French Quarter, restaurants, French market, music clubs, trolley and bus stops. A great stay for our group of 7 friends.

Stunning New Orleans Home

I have so many great things to say about this home. Location: Amazing, close enough to walk just about anywhere. The House: Perfection! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The courtyard is how we picked this house. Coffee in the morning and cocktails before heading out in the evening. And the front porch was always fun to watch the neighborhood. The Owner: Hospitable, accommodating and clearly proud of this property. The decor of each room was individual and oh, so New Orleans. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quintessential New Orleans trip!

Great place right off Frenchman Street

You really can’t beat the location of this rental. It’s so close to Frenchman we were worried it would be loud at night, but it was not and we all slept great. Daphne is a fantastic host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Hope to get back soon!

New Orleans Weekend

Wonderful house in a wonderful location! One block off Frenchman with all the food and jazz music you need. Short 15 minute walk to quarter. Daphne was a great host. I would highly recommend to all!

Best location great property

We were thrilled at finding this property! It was perfectly situated in the Frenchman street area where live music is readily available and everything is walkable - even to the French quarter. There’s good food, drinks and music steps outside the door. We felt safe at all times and the neighborhood is friendly. There’s even a cat that eats her meals on the porch. The place was bigger than expected and very clean! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect time in New Orleans

Well, it is New Orleans and one block in the wrong direction can mean issues. This property is perfectly placed - close enough to the crazy and safe enough for our family. It's right next to a city parking lot; so that was never an issue...right next door. The locals, mostly musicians, know the house and are most respectful. The amenities are over the top (and now I have to have to buy the same towels for our house), and it only took me two days to stop overfilling the coffee pot (only one cup in the reservoir...just enough for your cup!). With a family of six, there were enough bathrooms and plenty of hot water. Daphne has stuff you wouldn't think of, i.e. rain ponchos and other "home" items, all around. I give it an ELEVEN.

Wonderful Property

This house was the perfect place to stay in the Marigny. The location is perfect for access to the French quarter and all New Orleans has to offer. Daphne was a great host and the property met all of our expectations. Would definitely rebook this property on a future visit.

In the heart of the music scene

The property is right in the heart of a cluster of cool clubs on Frenchman street. Cool patio in the back. We had a lot of rain but managed some time in the patio area. Short walk to the quarter. The house is well insulated and there was no problem with the noise despite being right next to the clubs. The house was well stocked. Plenty of coffee, the essential stuff for cooking, and plenty of TP. Easy to use alarm system. We were there for a wedding at Peter and Paul hotel. Really close. Great place to stay

Great house, great location!

We stayed at the Frenchman St Guesthouse with another family and our teen/young adult kids. The house is charming, spacious, and very comfortable. The back patio is great - unfortunately the weather wasn’t quite warm enough to use it. Daphne was a super responsive host and a pleasure to interact with. Of course, the location for checking out music on Frenchman St was perfect. We could pop out for some music, pop home for a bit, and then head out again. I loved sitting on the front porch late at night to hear the street corner brass band play. (That said, if you’re looking for a quiet area of NOLA, this is not it.) If you’re a music lover, this is the house for you!!

Great location!!

Property was perfect for our group of 7. The location was walking distance to everywhere the group wanted to go, especially the music scene on Frenchmen St. Will definitely return to this lovely property on our next visit to Nola.

This place was wonderful. It was within walking distance to so many activities. The house had every amenity that you could want. I really loved the back patio area. It was roomy and had plenty of space. I will definitely book this place again.

Best New Orleans Stay Ever!

This was *literally* the best stay ever I've had in New Orleans! We came for my grandma's 75th birthday and Daphne was so supportive. I told her that my grandma doesn't travel a lot so she ensured there were safe and easy ways for my grandma to check in...she even left flowers for her birthday in the rental for us! The house itself is BEAUTIFUL and spacious! We loved sitting on the front porch listening to music and people watching. I can't wait to come back to this house. Thank you Daphne for making my grandma's birthday so special!

Spacious, comfortable, and perfectly located

10 of us came for the weekend and had plenty of space to both have our privacy and to enjoy time at home together. We loved using the living room, large kitchen, and back patio to get together for some food, drinks, and laughs. The place was so well stocked with kitchenware, blankets, and even poo-pourri! The best for last- our location was unbeatable. Right on the corner of Frenchman street, moments from bars, restaurants, convenient and grocery stores, and live music. I would definitely come back and stay here.
