Excellent vacation home!

We had an amazing stay with our friends and two their 2 kids. The house was large and everyone had their own space. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, and fire pit, the quiet neighborhood was awesome. We visited the main lodge, ate and Seven Devils Taphouse, and rode the life to the upper lodge and enjoyed the views, drinks and live music. This was the perfect place to have our summer getaway. Checkout was easy and communication with the host was exceptional. This was our 2nd time staying here and we will hopefully be back!

Fantastic & Clean Townhouse with Prime Location!

We had an incredible stay! The location at Tamarack is hard to beat - close to the village, ski lifts, hiking trails, golf course, etc., but the place also has a quiet and secluded feel. The townhouse was clean, well-stocked, and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals in, and the beds were super comfortable. Fast Wi-Fi was a nice bonus for working remotely or streaming movies at night. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, adventurous getaway in the heart of Idaho’s mountains. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Tamarack Resort Stay

We booked our trip to McCall to go relax for a few days, after having just gotten married. In our search for accommodations, we looked for properties with a private hot tub, so we could relax together! We booked this property, excited to soak in the hot tub each night, only to find out the hot tub is currently broken down and not available for our stay. The frustrating part is that we weren't made aware of this prior to booking, and not until I reached out to Vacasa to say, "hey the hot tub isn't plugged in and seems to be out of commission," was I told that "oh yeah, it's out of commission and has been for a while now." That would have been nice to know before booking - so we could have decided if we wanted to continue with our stay, or find alternative accommodations that truly had what we were after. Further - we found the coffee maker in the kitchen closet, and when we opened up the top to fill it with coffee, there was a soggy and rotten coffee filter, filled with used grounds sitting in the top of the pot. Gross! Glad we bought filters and coffee from a local store, only to find the coffee pot sitting in the kitchen closet, still with an old rotten filter of wet coffee sitting in it. Opted for coffee from a nearby shop instead. Other than these issues, the place was a decent stay!

**One Star Review:** I recently stayed at this property and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. After a long day at a race, we were eager to use the facilities, but encountered multiple issues. The clothes washer was dirty and unpleasant even after running a "washer clean" cycle, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, the hot tub was not functional during our visit, and the dryer also had problems. We were also unable to enjoy the BBQ or the patio because of a sparrow infestation. The furniture is dated and smelled so. Hot water was sparse and water pressure was nonexistent. One dish towel was available. Given all these inconveniences, I feel compelled to formally request a refund. It's unfortunate that our stay was marred by these issues, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously.

We absolutely loved our stay! House was perfect…well equipped, roomy, clean, comfortable beds and close to mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Cabin!

The cabin was awesome. Very comfortable for a family of 6. The ski in ski out is a little misleading as you need to walk down a road and trail quite a bit before you can “ski down” to the Tamarack Express especially with skis. Also, it would be good to have whomever that services the hot tub come in the morning vs late afternoon as you are unable to use it if they don’t. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Age appropriate

A few of us were over 60 and stairs became an issue we hadn’t considered. Parking was another issue, we were told Alpine parking was for overflow but overnight parking was prohibited. Overall, it was a lovely place clean and accommodated as well.

Sibling trip

It was very quiet and comfortable. When we called about issues with the front door/lock we received a quick response. They were very helpful. The area is beautiful and we all said we would come back again. Did not try the shops in the village area. This looks like a nice place for skiing.

This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for us with comfortable beds and a great gathering space in the kitchen area. Perfect for our needs. With the exception of some cleanliness issues upon arrival, we will consider this for our adventures next year.

Great location

The house is in a great location, near tamarack resort. We were able to snowboard to the bottom of the tamarack express lift from the house even though it took some shuffling. The fireplace needs to be cleaned out as it was difficult to even keep a fire lit at night and it also resulted in more smoke coming into the house than should be.
