Located in the historic pedestrian village center of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a stone's throw from the Nostradamus fountain, the duplex is located on the first and second floors of a 19th century character building.
Facing south, it offers a superb Tropezian terrace which opens onto the roofs of the city and the bell tower of the Collegiate Church of Saint-Martin.
For a peaceful stay, live immersed in the southern spirit: every Wednesday, enjoy the Provencal market on rue La Fayette.

Great Location in St. Remy!

Excellent location to enjoy St. Remy and all the quaint shops and good eateries. Quiet at night. Has a rooftop lounging area. Has a washer and dryer, air and heating, microwave, stove, fridge, a garage about 4 minutes walk away---all things as described in the listing. You get a lot for the price.

We went during a heatwave in the middle of summer and A/Cs worked really well!! The place is cute and vibe is Saint Remy. Loved the high ceilings, various tile designs and large bedroom on lower level. The bathroom on upper level has a decent shower while the lower one has a separate bath and wc. Kitchen was functional although we only heated Rotisserie from the Wednesday market there. The location is perfect, inside the pedestrian area and close to so many bakeries and restaurants. The folks in town are friendly and the food was fresh and exceptional everywhere. I got some remote work done during the week and thought WiFi was adequate for teams and Google Meet. We used this as our base to explore the sites around Provence. Thank you Dominique for welcoming us with a bottle of wine!! Overall a wonder stay and a wonderfull week in Saint Remy.

Great Location Lovely Apartment

My husband and I spent 3 weeks in this apartment and had a great time. The photos of the interior are accurate. Location was great. Dominique was helpful with any questions we had. The steps to the apartment and the staircase inside may be a challenge for some.

Very nice and great location.

Great place to stay and convenient to stores and restaurants. Very nice patio area with barbecue. Can be a little noisy at times and internet is inconsistent. Would recommend and return.

Great stay in a beautiful house

My husband and I are just back from a week in this beautiful house in St. Remy. It is perfectly located just inside the ring road, steps away from shopping and restaurants. A private parking space is just a short walk away. The property was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed using the rooftop deck, even though there was a mistral while we were there! I highly recommend the property.

Excellent stay in the heart of Saint Remy

As described the apartment is quite calm at nights despite being in the centre. Good air-conditioning is available for hot days. The private parking was a big plus, since public parkings are quite busy on some days. Perfect choice for all, who love to walk to the bakery or other shops in the morning or want to return from restaurants without car.

Great location, Very spacious and well furnished

Thierry was extremely helpful and attentive. We had very hot weather and the 2 fans helped bring the air conditioning from upstairs down to the living area to make it comfortable. The terrace was a great bonus, but best early mornings with our coffee. We enjoyed the house very much and would recommend it.

Perfect home

Had a return visit to this great apartment and everything was fantastic. Perfect space for two couples, with the well-appointed and comfortable living/dining/kitchen area. The two large bedrooms had quality beds and linens. Best of all, the weather was perfect for enjoying the outside terrace. Even used the bbq. Thanks for sharing your home.

Charming St. Remy Apartment

We stayed 8 nights in early November. Owner Theirry and Property Manager Dominique were both great! Both spoke English well. Apartment is charming and so well located in the heart of the historic town of Saint Remy with easy nearby assigned parking spot which was a great plus. What can I say about the rooftop terrace equipped with a gas grill for a fantastic sunset "apero" hour. Fantastic! It's a second floor walk-up so be aware if steps are a problem...but location is worth the climb! Merci pour ce séjour agréable!

Beautiful week in August

A beautiful apartment in the heart of a wonderful town. Lovely roof top terrace and well equipped kitchen. My only question would be, does every guest buy cleaning equipment ? There was no washing up liquid, basic cleaner, cloths etc Perhaps a note that these are to be provided would be useful. Other than that very minor point, we absolutely loved the apartment and would highly recommend.

Fabulous apartment in St Remy

This is our second stay at this apartment. We loved it the first time, and it didn't disappoint this time. It is very conveniently situated in the heart of the town, within walking distance of everything - shops, restaurants, bakeries... The apartment itself is very well presented with a large bedroom and bathroom downstairs and another upstairs, each separate and private. It works very well for two couples. One small caveat is that the upstairs is reached by a wooden spiral staircase so not suitable for those who may not be too mobile. We are older, and it wasn't a problem for us, but fair warning... The furnishings are exactly as advertised, and the attention to detail in the artworks is fabulous. It is clean, airy, and the roof terrace is delightful. Once you sit out in the evening with a glass of wine you will know you are truly among the rooftops of a beautiful Provencal town.

Stylish apartment in the heart of Saint Remy

We have just enjoyed a month in the delightful ‘la Garçonière’ during summer. It is spacious, very comfortable and decorated with fabulous style and a mix of quality furniture and art - old, new and quirky. The entire apartment is very well appointed - in particular, the range and quality of kitchen/dining equipment and tableware are outstanding. The rooftop terrace is a bonus and we often relaxed with a glass of rosé under the stars enjoying the cooling air after warm days. The location is perfect - everything you might want to do or see in the village is just steps away. Saint Remy is a lively village with plenty of activities especially during the summer, and it’s an ideal base for exploring Provence. Communication with Thierry was excellent - he very responsive both before, during and after our stay (our security deposit was refunded very quickly) and the information provided about the house, directions, parking in the village was very helpful. We highly recommend la Garçonière for a comfortable and authentic stay at Saint Remy.

Amazing Property!

St. Remy and Thierry's apartment was our home during our week stay in Provence. The apartment was excellent with a large amount much space! It was very clean and the pictures perfectly depict the space. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the plates, cutlery, glasses, and pots and pans you will need. The apartment is only a half a block from one of the main streets where there are a lot of options for restaurants. There are two grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. There are many cute little stores around the condo and an excellent shop around the corner where you can buy many different types of prepared food to bring back and heat up. Thierry was excellent to deal with from my first enquiry email. He was very responsive and answered all my questions promptly. Delphine (local host) was also very helpful and answered all the questions we had. We will definitely be back to Provence and will be renting Thierry's apartment again! Doug and Kelly

Charming, peaceful home away from home

Just completed a three week stay at La Garçonnière and I can’t say enough good things about it. The apartment is charming and filled with personality and art. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to warm up prepared foods purchased locally. I highly recommend Pasta Nostra on Rue de Republicque, a 5 minute walk at most. They have fresh pasta and prepared Italian delicacies as well as local wine and oils. The owners are delightful. One of the best meals I had was at Bravo’s . Don’t be fooled by the street signage, it is much more than pizza. I had the best steak frites, wine and salad there one night. Also Fratelli’s is great food and lively service. The apartment is lovely, peaceful and the outdoor patio is a treat. I played light jazz on the sound system upstairs while I prepared my breakfast most mornings- thank you Thierry and Jean-Paul for your wonderful selection of music. The SMART TV was wonderful and I logged on to my Netflix account and watched many of my favorite shows that way. I did laundry in the upstairs washer/dryer and used the drying rack for most everything except towels. Delphine works full time but was helpful and just a wonderful and lovely person who lives locally. Thierry answered all my questions quickly and respectfully. I treated this lovely home as if it were my own...cleaning, tidying and being respectful of lights and heat every day!! I hated to leave and get back to work! Many thanks for allowing me this opportunity to experience Provence like a local.

Perfect apartment in a fabulous location

I stayed in La Garconiere for six weeks, two with a friend, four solo. It was absolutely perfect. Start by going up a sweeping stone staircase one floor to the front door. Open the door to a small hallway with a gorgeous bathroom with double sinks and a sublime bathtub. Separate toilet. Up three steps to the great-room; kitchen on the left with everything you could possibly need. I don't cook, but my friend turned out fabulous meals (ingredients purchased from the Wednesday market), admittedly mostly using the BBQ on the deck. Round table for four, then large living room area. Off the side is the first bedroom, with a queen size bed, and fabulous original floor tiles. Before I take you upstairs, look around at all the decor and artwork. It's amazing, with lots of little touches and hidden treasures you don't notice for a few days. Up the wooden spiral staircase to the second floor. A huge sitting room, with a shower room at one end, and the bedroom at the other, with a queen size bed. Again with the decor and artwork... And the best feature of all, a large rooftop deck with great seating, umbrella, BBQ, and small laundry room. We sat out on the deck for coffee in the morning, cocktails and occasionally dinner in the evening. The apartment would be perfect for two couples. And location? Could seriously not be better. It is right on the edge of the pedestrian area of the historic old town. A few steps takes you to many restaurants and shops, and the Wednesday market. Add to all of this the dedicated inside parking spot just down the road, and your car will always be cool inside. One small word of caution, St Remy has many fete and festival days, and sometimes closes the ring road around the old town to traffic. Pay attention to the posted notices, because you will not be able to drive your car. Move it to the huge public parking lot. Or better yet stay for the festival because you will be entertained by music, parades, horse-drawn carts, and even thousands of sheep run around the town. Amazing. Could my six weeks at La Garconiere have been any better? Only if I could come back next year.

Mitten in St. Remy

Das Apartment befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt, so dass alles problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Die Wohnung hat eine eigene Dachterrasse und einen dazugehörigen Stellplatz in einer Garage. Für Menschen mit besonderem Hilfebedarf ist die Wohnung nur bedingt geeignet, aufgrund der steilen Treppe sowie Stufen zwischen den Zimmern.
