So peaceful!

This was a wonderful trip. Host was super communicative and accommodating. The outdoor space was so peaceful. My family considered becoming bird watchers on the regular . The space was comfortable and had everything we needed for the long weekend. The location was close to all necessities we needed. We will absolutely heck this for availability next time we visit Tucson.

Much Better Than Hotel

We love that the home had a private entry way and courtyard to rest in and enjoy nature. It was welcoming and really emphasized Arizona life with the cacti and variety of plants. We especially enjoyed the very large living room window and courtyard with recliners and rocking chairs facing the sunset that we enjoyed each evening. The warbling quails were nice to listen to right outside the courtyard gates. We wish we could have seen more wildlife (like the cactus pigs), but the owners made sure to attract birds with their feeders. The constant cool breezes were awesome, too bad it wasn't warm enough in the year to experience the unheated pool. The home is situated away from the main road with traditional gravel driveway, we "felt" like it was even further away from the busy area that had plenty of local grocery and restaurant options nearby. All in all, this home helped to entice us to desire relocating to Arizona!

Great location

Nice location with great views over the valley. Lots of restaurants handy in Oro Valley, yet close enough to central Tucson, the National Parks, and lots of hiking. Enjoyed being in the foothills with lots of wildlife. Comfortable accomodations with everything you could need. The sunsets from the private patio were spectacular. Very nice place.

Beautiful sunsets, desert garden patio, birds galore!

We thoroughly loved our stay in this spacious, well-equipped rental. While conveniently located near shopping and dining, it felt like we were in a quiet desert area, surrounded by nature. It was perfect for us as we would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Most Welcoming Home in Tucson

My husband and I stayed here our first week of relocation from Georgia. We were apprehensive about staying in a guesthouse right next to the owners but it couldn’t have been more perfect. Gene and Terri have been the most incredible hosts! They were gracious and welcoming but never overbearing or obtrusive. We felt immediately right at home. Their gorgeous home is a peaceful oasis perched above the city. The gardens are lush and beautiful, the home is meticulously maintained, the pool is better than most resorts’ and the view from the porch of the sun rising and setting over the mountains was the highlight of each day for us. The bedding was so comfortable and the towels were fluffy! Cannot recommend this property or the owners highly enough!

Great accommodation in good location for visiting local attractions

We really enjoyed our stay at Suffolk Hills. The property is comfortable (really good mattress) and very well equipped. There are good shops and restaurants near by. We enjoyed using the pool after a day out exploring the area (we visited Saguaro NP, Tubac, Tumacacori and Mount Lemmon). But most we liked to sit out in the evening in the lovely garden and look at the view.

Relaxing stay at quiet location near good restaurants and shopping area.

U of A home base!

Terri & Gene are excellent hosts. Our daughter is a freshman at U of A and we found this gem to use as homebase to get her settled in on campus. Worked out great!

Our Dog's Favorite VRBO (ours too!)

Awesome 2-week vacation experience from start to finish! Terri and Gene are warm and wonderful hosts - charming, super helpful, highly responsive. Ideal location for exploring Tucson, the Catalina Foothills and Oro Valley. The guest house is charming too. Great check-in tour with tips from Terri. The house is very comfortable, super well-provisioned in all rooms, with cute southwestern decor and lots of natural light. We enjoyed quiet mornings and stunning sunset views from our large private patio and the pool. Beautiful landscaping throughout the property. The abundant wildlife in the neighborhood can be enjoyed from the patio and on neighborhood walks. Our dog Augie loved the pool almost as much as he loved our dog-friendly hosts! We'll happily come back to this lovely spot in the future.

Incredible stay in Tucson!!

Terri and Gene were fabulous hosts!! Everything was super easy as far as check in. They greeted us and showed us the things we needed to know about the place. The pool is awesome with fantastic views of the Suffolk Hills area. We will stay here again next time we come to Tucson! What are you waiting for, book now!!

Lovely desert oasis

We could not have been happier with this guest house! We enjoyed morning coffee and evening sunsets on the beautifully landscaped private patio. My daughter and I were delighted that both bedrooms had a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable, the towels luxurious, and the kitchen well stocked. Terri and Gene were delightful hosts!

We enjoyed our stay here so much that we didn't want to leave. We really enjoyed the patio. We sat out there for hours. So peaceful. Very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Lovely stay in the Catalina Foothills

This is a very clean and well stocked property. The beds were very comfortable and all the linens and towels are very nice. The enclosed yard was perfect for our dog. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio, drinking coffee and listening to the birds each morning. Terri and Gene are great hosts and were very sweet to our dog.

Wonderful Tucson Guest House

We selected this property because it accepted pets and was close to Mt. Lemmon. Gene and Terri were absolutely wonderful. They even let the dog swim in their pool! Guest house was well appointed, very comfortable and quiet. And the covered patio was absolutely perfect. Almost hate to give such a positive review because I'd like to keep it for myself!
