Our stay near the castle was fantastic! Our place was so close we walked up to both Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle. It was so nice driving around the little towns nearby and seeing the castle up on the mountain. One morning we walked around Lake Alpsee and the views were beautiful! Our apartment was very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and plenty of space for our group of three. The place had character and our host, Angela was very clear with communication. The check in process was also very clear. I would highly recommend this place for the Bavarian Alps! Thank you for everything, Angela!

Fabulous Loft Apartment with Views

Second time we’ve stayed in Angela’s lovely, homely apartment and it doesn’t disappoint! It’s a home from home with a well equipped kitchen and every item you need for dining as a family. The lounge is super comfortable with Netflix on the TV and a great Bluetooth sound system. Comfortable beds just complete the luxury. The location cannot be beaten with direct access to the castles, lakes and mountains on foot, by bike or on the excellent public transport networks. We cannot recommend Schlossblick highly enough.

We loved our stay here! The host was incredibly helpful and provided lots of information about the area - including advice on timing to purchase tickets for the castle experiences. She was a great communicator the entire time. The apartment is charming and I really felt like we had an authentic Bavarian experience staying there. The weather was very hot when we were visiting and the host was very thoughtful and had the apartment cooled down for our arrival.It is a very cozy and clean apartment and the location is incredible. We have two young children and walked to the horse-drawn carriages to take us up to the Neuschwanstein Castle. The area is within about an hour drive or less to countless recreational opportunities. We loved it! Would highly recommend to other travelers- including families.

Wonderful, well-equipped apartment in a beautiful setting. The host provided all information in a timely manner, including ideas for activities, and was welcoming. The location was great for visits to the castles and numerous hiking trails. Highly recommended!

Un appartement au TOP

Idéalement placé pour visiter la région, spacieux, confortable, meublé avec goût, comportant tous les équipements nécessaires ( et bien plus).. l’appartement d’Angela est vraiment une référence.De plus Angela est prévenante , attentionnée et à tout mis en œuvre pour faciliter notre séjour malgré l’handicap des langues.Encore bravo, nous reviendrons.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Check-in war ein wenig mühsam. Hat aber eher an mir gelegen, da ich nicht über die App gebucht habe. Ich habe jetzt die App herunterladen, für ein nächstes Mal.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Top-Lage, ruhig !!

Sehr angenehmer und erholsamer Urlaubsaufenthalt. Lediglich 2 kleine Einschränkungen für die Wohnung: duschen im Dachgeschoss nur eingeschränkt möglich (Kopf in der Aussparung fürs Dachfenster, nicht direkt unter Duschkopf möglich) und Fahrradkeller nur über ca. 10 Aussenstufen ohne Rampe/Metallschiene oder ähnliches möglich (mit schwereren e-Bikes ungünstig). Sonst alles vorhanden, top in Schuss, sauber und bequem. Schöner Balkon mit Markise. Sehr ruhige Gegend und echter Schlossblick.

Wunderschöne und gut ausgestattete Wohnung

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir haben mit unserer 42-jährigen Tochter mit geistiger Behinderung eine Woche Urlaub gemacht. Die vielen ,so liebevollen Details, in der Wohnung, haben uns sehr gefreut. Gemütlich und trotzdem funktionell haben wir Alles vorgefunden. Wir kommen gern wieder, wenn es heißt: Urlaub in Schwangau. Danke für Alles

Perfect location

We found the apartment to be perfectly located, within sight of both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The access of roads was excellent without too much traffic as seen in Fussen. Kristie and I were there 3 weeks and travelled across the alpine cities and towns. The apartment was comfortably furnished with a huge living/dining area. The bedrooms were very comfortable as well. I highly recommend considering this location for a wonderful Bavarian experience!

Perfect Location

Just perfect! Location beautiful, quiet, easy access to walking and cycling trails, castles, swimming lakes and a cable car for high level walking. Apartment charming and comfortable with fabulous mountain views. Excellent communications and tourist advice from Angela. Will definitely be back!

Super close location to castles

The location in proximity to the castles is really great. The property is nice and has a beautiful view out of the main windows and on one side there is even a view of the main tower of Neuschwanstein. That is the good part about being on the top floor. The down side is that hot air rises and like many European accommodations, it does not have air conditioning. I thought in mid June, it would not be that hot yet, but it was really hot during the day. It cooled off at night but mid-afternoon or early evening was very warm. The bathtub/shower is inside the slant of the roof so you can't stand up in the tub without opening the window hatch. That would drive me crazy if I had to deal with that all the time. I would have to remodel the bathroom to eliminate that issue. We were only there three days so we managed and didn't let that be an issue. For the first and third nights, a breeze came through and cooled off the unit so it was comfortable in the evenings. On the second night, we couldn't open it up because a neighbor was outside smoking all the time. I assume this must have been some other short term rental situation because there was no problem the other nights. This is one of the challenges we face when staying in non-AC properties. With the spectacular location, it would have been nice to walk into the gorge where there is an entrance close by but it was closed and I imagine has been closed for a long time now. The management for Neuschwanstein should get those opened and frankly the community should demand it. They could charge a fee for visitor access if necessary and make it free for residents. We would recommend this property and would stay there again especially when the gorge and Marienbrucke bridge re-open.

Perfect Castle Stay

This is a perfect place to stay! In every way!!! Angela is so good at communicating! The apartment is clean and comfortable for our family of 4. It was well stocked with linens, pantry items, and anything else you would expect. We loved how close we were to the castles. You can walk straight from the apartment and avoid the crowded parking lots. If we are ever back in the area, this would be the place we stayed!!

Tolle Lage, super Ferienwohnung

In dieser Ferienwohnung kann man sich super erholen. Sie ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es wurde an wirklich alles gedacht. Eine Selbstverpflegung fällt dank der umfangreichen Küchenausstattung leicht. Auch die technische Ausstattung ist auf dem neuesten Stand. Auf dem Balkon kann man u. a. dank zweier bequemer Liegestühle und Sonnenmarkise super relaxen und auch für Lesestoff ist gesorgt. Für uns war es das rundum sorglos Paket!

Wunderbar!

Wir haben ein paar sehr schöne Tage in Hohenschwangau verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet, sehr sauber und lässt keine Wünsche offen. W-Lan ist auch vorhanden. Insgesamt perfekt für uns als Familie!

Perfekt für uns als Familie

In dieser gemütlich eingerichteten Wohnung haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt! Dank der vorhandenen Spiele, Spielsachen und der Büchervielfalt wird es auch bei schlechtem Wetter mit Kindern nicht langweilig. Durch die gute Lage konnten wir Ausflüge zu Fuß und per Auto zu schönen Zielen unternehmen, dank Angelas Liste war die Auswahl groß und hat uns zu Orten geführt, die wir sonst nicht entdeckt hätten.

Tolle Wohnung in perfekter Lage
