The Little White House on Blue Heron Slough

Our house is a very comfortable 3 bedroom 2 bath home on Lake Jordan! This home has an open design with windows galore to maximize your view! Great expansive deck overlooking the lake, large enough for the whole family to enjoy meals outdoors.

Our dock accommodates a 20ft. pontoon boat. The public launch is very close to the lake and Slab Out is right across the lake from us, right next to the YMCA.

Lake Jordan is well known for bass, trout and catfish fishing, all speeds of boating, jet skiing, kayaking, trails for mountain biking and running along the lake. Emerald Mountain Golf Course is 30 minutes away in Wetumpka.

Winn Dixie Grocery Store, Walmart Super Store and the new Publix is approximately 10 miles away.


Recently HGTV Hometown Make Over redesigned and gave Wetumpka a facelift. Tour the town and see first hand all the wonderful improvements this amazing team did to our Wetumpka!! A great Hometown feel.

You might want to check out Coosa River Adventures for some fun rafting/kayaking on the Coosa. It is also in Wetumpka.

Best place to spend a weekend at the Lake

This is our 4th or 5th time staying at the house and we love it every time. They have recently purchased new kayaks to use and that is an added benefit! The view is lovely and the new deck is amazing!

Our stay was amazing we wanted to get away disconnect from work etc. We came up from Sarasota Florida. Our host was gracious enough to let us check in early once we got there after the long drive. The home itself was very nice very spacious. Had all the amenities of home literally everything you could think of for your vacation. Steps away from the lake and fishing. If you want to destress thatā€™s the place to do it at very peaceful and quiet. We will definitely stay there again when Iā€™m Alabama. Mrs Julie was very responsive just incase you might need anything. Property worth going to stay at!!

The home has a beautiful view of the lake. There was plenty of deck space to eat and enjoy the view. The fishing was great and the children enjoyed swimming day after day.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. From the large, chefs kitchen to the panoramic views from the glass sun porch to the beautifully appointed master bedroom and bath (as well as the other two bedrooms)...everything was just what we had hoped for. Highly recommend this property!

Charming Home at Lake Jordan

Beautiful home with lots of space for everyone. This place has one of the best spots on the water . It has other houses nearby but it still feels very private . Home has everything you need . We enjoyed floating on the Lily Pad they have for the guest , fishing and my daughter enjoyed hanging her hammock on the trees and reading a book . The wifi is great too , very important if you have older kids lol . They also had two kayaks available to use as well . Itā€™s also a beautiful drive getting there . It reminds me of driving through the Smoky mountains . Winding roads and the beautiful trees . We also spent the day kayaking the Coosa with Coosa River Adventures . Highly recommend them as well . We hope to make a trip back again to this wonderful place .

Wonderful Place

This was our 3rd stay and it was great! Itā€™s a cute, clean house with a beautiful view! In the late afternoon the sun makes the water sparkle. The new decking was awesome and the new couch was so comfy and nice. And everything was nicely stocked as usual so we didnā€™t need to bring any extra kitchen supplies. We always have such a lovely time when we visit with our family. We hope to keep coming back!

My husband Dan and I co-own this beautiful property with his brother David and sister-in-law Victoria. Dan and I live in Colorado, while David and Vic are all the way up in Alaska! Though we're miles apart, we all come together over our shared love for this special place. We try to visit at least twice a yearā€”sometimes to relax, sometimes to tackle projectsā€”but always with joy.

This is a perfect setting for a family vacation. We supply two kayaks, and life jackets. The kitchen is fully stocked and the views are like no other! We have a dock for you to hook up your boats with electricity. Plenty of comfy bed with many blankets and pillows!

We have games, books, and cards to occupy you if rain shows up.
The slough on either side of the property is perfect for hanging out on a noodle.
