Lovely

A lovely studio with an incredibly comfortable murphy bed and furniture, very cozy with a wonderful ground floor patio/lanai that had an amazing water view. The local staff were wonderful and very helpful. I would strongly recommend this studio for couples, very romantic and fun atmosphere.

The condo was excellent for our needs. The owners had done a great job with the place. It was supplied with all the amenities, kitchen appliances and well stocked kitchen equipment including spices, condiments. Possibly pass guest leaving can food and other items. The condo had a great view of the complex and beach area you could walk down to, hardly anyone on it. Lots of great sand, but also lava rocks which made access to the water difficult. Signs advising caution, no lifeguards. Ocean this time of the year very rough, only strong swimmers should use.The ocean waves put you to sleep and the “Murphy bed” was very comfortable!You need to know that some of the site was a former Sheraton hotel which has closed years ago and is in dilapidated condition. But the rest of the condominium complex is ok.You need to also know that it’s at the far west end of Molokai which is a bit away from services at the center of the island grocery store s and restaurants. There is a small store on site that carries small assortment of groceries but you need to do shopping before you check in or do it after, it’s about 30-40 minutes away.The owners gave us plenty of information prior to our arrival which was great! Thank you!It was our 1st visit to Molokai hopefully not our last! Manny & Rita

Great little get away

I stayed at this condo on Molokai for about two weeks and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The space was ideal for remote work, it was quiet, comfortable, and surprisingly well-equipped with fast internet that easily supported VDI/Citrix and video meetings over Teams. The Murphy bed was a smart touch, maximizing the living area during the day, and the view over the ocean beyond my dual monitors and laptop was absolutely stunning. Barbara was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I’ll definitely be booking again. I'm still using the view from the table as my Teams background. Very highly recommended!

Beautiful condo overlooking the beach with sunsets to remember forever. All the amenities you could hope for in a restful and stress free setting. Barbara and Cal have a real gem here.

Great Condo with Awesome views!

We loved our stay at this condo. The host thought of everything, and everything we needed was provided in the Condo. Beautiful views out to the Ocean and hearing the waves crashing during the night was paradise! Thank you Barbara and Cal for providing this unforgettable place to stay while in Molokai.

Perfect restful holiday

Lovely, cozy place with ocean view

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo was very clean, had more than everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. Only downside is the distance to any bigger city and mobile connection. But they had wifi and this is Molokai ;).

I was in love in the first minute. The view from the lanai was stunning. The photos barely capture the tastefulness of the remodel. The breeze cooled us perfectly. The surf was up and watching the surfers and the surf was a meditation on enjoying the island’s beauty. Unit was very clean and super organized and kitchen pans/items were quality pieces, so prepping meals for grilling was a joy. We often had the beach to ourselves on morning walks. Book if you want a remote oasis with only a few other people around.

A Peak at Paradise

We didnt know what to expect on our first visit to Molokai but it is hard to beat this! The views, especially sunsets, were magical. Morning coffee to the song of local birds was a favorite patio time. Molokai was like our own private island from the nearby Papohaku beach reserved for only us to hiking in solitude at Kalaupapa overlook. Be sure to stop at the market in Kuanakakai after you land for the best stock of groceries and Kumu Farms along the way for fresh produce. The condo is stocked with a healthy supply of staples and everything else you'll need. We now want a murphy bed...awesome!! Mahalo Barbarba and Cal for being perfect hosts!

Fantastic Location and Home - Foto says it all

We stayed for 1 week and when arrived on 1st evening not sure how it will work out. No Restaurants open and no grocery or Shops (we arrived on a Sunday). There was Nothing in the town and 30min. drive to Condo. But then, Condo is well equiped, it is small, not luxury but all you Need is there and all maintained with a "heart" on the home! The view from terrace is unbeatable and every evening we enjoyed sunset during dinner. We never had a full week with self made dinner and bottle of wine on terrace during our Holiday! Then all day we walked to 4-5 beaches nearby and this is uneblievable paradise and NOBODY else there. It is Kind of "bitter-sweet", it used to be Hotel Resort until some 10-15y ago - then all closed - Looks a bit sad but then on other Hand if you look for some days of original paradise, self cattering not an issue and enjoy sun and sunset alone then this is defenitely best place we have ever been! Many thanks to Cal and Barabara for letting us stay here. we recommend 100% and have many Fotos for poster collages for our home back in Austria.

Peace and quiet in your home paradise away from home.

Your home away from home- in paradise. Barb & Cal have created a unit with the comforts of home in an idyllic setting: a panoramic view of the Pacific ocean and beautiful sunsets. But most striking is the peace and quiet. Molokai, with a history and reputation for resisting development, is a throwback to the days before Starbucks and big box stores. No Vegas shows, no Casinos. Not even a single stop light on the entire island. Just peace and quite in the middle of a tropical paradise. In fact, you'll feel out of place wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Western Molokai is dry, even parched in places. Water is not wasted. Technically, it's a desert: 27" of rain per year (vs Kauai 70" - 400" per year), although torrential rains are possible in winter. So, although Western Molokai tends more to brown than green, you can almost guarantee sun every day in April and throughout the summer. This resort was part of a major resort with a world class golf course 20 years ago, funded by the Japanese before the recession, when they pulled out. Later attempts to revive it were opposed by people of Molokai; for example, a developer demanded 10 million gallons of water a day to water the golf course. But Molokai Dreams is in one of a group of buildings owned by private owners; it was not part of the commercial development. The owners have taken an active interest in maintaining the quality of their area and units, as is evident by the pictures in the website. You will notice boarded up buildings on the perimiter (eg pro shop, bar), but the owners manicure their area and keep the family-sized pool pristine clean. What you won't find is the beat of sub-woofers pounding your chest, party animals carousing until all hours of the night, or garbage from drive thrus blowing in the breeze. What you will find is a green gem overlooking Pacific Ocean sunsets. And Peace, And Quiet.

We are so happy you had a wonderful stay in Molokai! It is a special place indeed. Since we started going there in 1999, we saw the golf course restored twice. It was back to a thriving beautiful 18 hole course. It's demise was actually on the part of the owners of the property not the people of Molokai. There was opposition to new construction on the west end due to water but that was not part of our condo complex. Still, the peace, beauty and quiet is what makes Molokai such a special place. Paradise

This unit has to be one of the best in the hole resort. Very clean and well equipped. I'm considered a long term stay and enjoy cooking. The kitchen has everything you need including a set of sharps knifes and new cook where. The view from this unit is spectacular. Barbara and Cal are great hosts. Cozy Studio for Two

We absolutely enjoyed this delightful cozy studio for two. I didn't expect such a wonderful view from the lanai or such close proximity to beach. We enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys roaming the property. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. I would stay again in the future and would recommend to others.

Amazing

The condo itself has everything you could ever need. There’s a small store in the resort that has most of the essentials and some food. The sunset view is pretty wicked. The beach in front of the condo was mostly empty when we came. It’s great for walking and chillen but definitely not for swimming. Overall a wonderful stay.

This was our 2nd time to Kepui Beach Resort, the 1st time in this suite. It was fantastic. The owners have everything you could ever need. The Murphy bed was very comfortable, lots of towels, beach chairs, books, CD and the best view. We had stayed in a upper suite before and the view from ground level was just as spectacular. We would come back and highly recommend

Beyond our Dreams!

Perfect in all ways. The sunsets were amazing as was the pool. The 🌴 and the colors of Molokai-the trees along with the plants, sky and ocean were beautiful. Can not wait to come back.

Quiet and Peaceful Getaway

This was a great place to stay as we celebrated our 50th anniversary. A beautiful ocean view and sunset along with a well equipped condo made this a perfect location even for day trips to the east end of the island. We enjoyed several of the local restaurants and the friendliness of all the folks we came in contact with. We thought living on the Big Island was laid back but this takes relaxed living a nice step further.
