This absolutely stunning, ocean front condo is located in the heart of Sandy Beach and is located in the newest building of the 5-Star Las Palomas Resort (Cordoba Building, 8th Floor) in Rocky Point, Mexico (Puerto Penasco)! With the largest 2 bedroom and 2 bath floorpan in Las Palomas, this condo is first-class all the way with a fully-equipped kitchen, including all cookware, dishes, glasses, pots/pans, blender, toaster, coffee maker (regular drip as well as Keurig K-Cup), spice rack, all utensils and appliances. First-rate details include granite countertops, reverse osmosis drinking water system, and TVs in both bedrooms as well as the main room. Professionally decorated with no expense spared, this condo features an extra large great room with 47-inch High Def LED TV, 1.5x wide patio (with very important afternoon shade!) and is part of the highly desirable Phase 2.

Bait and Switch

Beware… you might not get this room. We booked this over Easter weekend and experienced the biggest VRBO scam I’ve ever witnessed. Upon checking in we realized the room we were given was not the room we booked with VRBO. The host claims to be just as confused as we were but was not able to rectify the situation. Apparently their unit was already rented out so the resort just gave us another room of their choice. It was a lesser value room with different sleeping arrangements and crappy outdated furniture. The couch was dusty and old, beds were broken… it was not anything we would have booked. Instead of giving us our money back the host offered a 200 credit. Although a nice gesture it is not enough given the total bait and switch scenario. VRBO claims the host is the only one allowed to grant a refund, which is funny because the unit we were in was not even theirs. It seems they got doubled paid and were dipping twice into the system.

Wonderful stay

Perfect location and view! Condo was beautiful, clean, well kept. Owners were responsive to questions. Las Palomas staff, service and food were great. We’ll be back soon.

Beautiful view

The pictures of the property did not do it justice. It was way better in person. We had a wonderful stay. The place was well stocked with kitchen essentials and the beds were comfy. We didn’t need to contact the owners at all. It was wonderful. We would stay here again.

Beautiful View!

This a great 2 bedroom for couples to stay at! We enjoyed the balcony every evening for the views of the ocean! The master bed was very comfortable! Kitchen stocked with all you need. Would stay again in the future!

Definitely recommend!

This condo was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Photos are representative. Owner was quick to reply. Only issue was Las Palomas check-in was running behind and we didn’t get into the room until about 30 minutes after expected 4pm checkin time.

Great place!

We love Las Palomas, and we loved this condo for our family! Kitchen was stocked with cookware and utensils and plenty of space for us. Highly recommend this spot and the owners were very responsive. Will stay here again!

Beach Birthday

We had a wonderful vaca at Gordon’s place! The condo was fully equipped and perfectly located. Gordon was very helpful and replied very quickly when we had questions. The resort was awesome-well maintained and the staff -from housekeeping to security were helpful and attentive. The only issue we had was with the front desk ( we arrive at 5:15 pm and we were told that our room was not ready and the staff member told us he couldn’t really give us a time when it would be ready! Thank goodness for Gordon, he got a hold of someone and we got our keys around 6pm) in addition, he was able to get us a late checkout, however the front desk staff was not very helpful with changing our keys! We enjoyed everything else at the resort and would return in a heartbeat!

A lovely place to spend 5 days.

The beds are fabulous. The kitchen has sufficient utensils to allow one to fix a full meal. The condo is quiet. We were not in need of anything. The patio is lovely, I like the fact the sun is not glaring into you in the latter part of the day.

Perfect spring break getaway

Gordon’s condo is very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with. Each bedroom has a TV and a comfortable king bed. There’s a gorgeous view of the resort, pool and beach from the huge balcony. Staff keep the grounds well maintained and so clean. All restaurants have delicious food. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this condo and Las Palomas.

Perfect

8th story condo overlooking the ocean. Balcony has a spectacular view. Close to Cholla Bay for Wrecked and J.J.'s(currently closed under new management and remodeling) 😩 Easy drive into town for shopping and the Malencon. Site staff are very professional and courteous. Beach was clean and plenty of room even during Spring Break. Highly recommend and will definately be back.

Beautiful Condo

I would definitely like to stay here again. The two bedrooms were both like master suites. Both bathrooms were very clean and good sized. We didn't use the laundry but machines looked to be in great condition. The view was amazing of the beach and the pool area. The balcony had both a table, chairs, and loungers which were really nice. The kitchen had all the necessary supplies with extra storage for snacks and extra food we brought. Easy accessibility to the elevator! Like I said we would love to stay here again!

Lovely Rocky Point

The property is well appointed and the view is spectacular. Onsite amenities are great and the property is right on the beach. A lovely place for a get away. We look forward to returning in the future.

Great condo

We had such a great stay in Gordon’s condo. We have stayed at Las Palomas several times and this condo is by far our favorite. Great space foe families. Excellent location to the pools and beach. The condo has everything you need. The balconies huge with gorgeous views of the property and beach. Owner was very prompt with emails to respond to my questions. We will definitely be back!!

Spectacular view from the deck!

Loved the view from the deck, it got sun in the morning but the afternoon and evening we enjoyed watching everyone at the pool and on the beach while having an afternoon drink. The condo was a great size, there was only 3 of us so we had more than enough room. We didn't cook while we were there but it looked like the kitchen was fully stocked with whatever cooking items may be needed. Only downside was that the dryer didn't work. I tried to dry 3 towels and after 2 hours of them still being wet we hung them outside to dry overnight (lint trap was cleaned out).

Very nice property. Loved the view and the overall positioning of the balcony.

Better for a family of 4-5 people as sofa bed was not so comfortable. Beds in bedroom were great. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer. We would have stayed longer if we could. Thank you for a great stay! We would certainly come back to this condo should we return to Rocky Point!

Great Location...!

We were very pleased with our condo. It had a great view of the beach and the pools. The condo was very well equipped with all that you would need. It had a very clean and shiny kitchen also. The owners were very accommodating and communicated with us often to insure that our stay was a good one. Happy to report that it was a very good one! Also very comfortable mattresses! We look forward to staying again and we will be very happy to recommend this condo unit to our friends!
