The farmhouse, located in one of the most exclusive places in Rome, has the immediate charm of the oasis in the city, where the courtyard is still a destination for migration of colorful green and blue budgies. The warmth and familiarity lead the guest to live unforgettable moments in full relaxation.
The house is located in a strategic position, immersed in the magical atmosphere of the Appia Antica park, a rich archaeological area:
tomb of Cecilia Metella, Circus of Maxentius, Catacombs of San Callisto, Santa Domitilla, San Sebastiano, Fosse Ardeatine, history via delle Sette Chiese (a dip in history, all on foot from home).
A stone's throw from the picturesque and historic Garbatella district (10 min walk).
900 meters from Piazza Venezia.
The property has two entrances:
on the Ardeatina and the Parco Scott district, near the Cristoforo Colombo artery.
It is possible to reach in 10 minutes by bus both the EUR district and the Circus Maximus and the Colosseum.
Supermarkets, pharmacies, churches, pizzerias, restaurants, shops, parks, post office, banks, bars, theaters in the immediate vicinity.
Excursions by bike (7 routes for all tastes) from the Caffarella Park to the Roman aqueducts.

Guest Access

entire 60 sqm apartment comprising entrance hall, kitchen-living room, double bedroom, single bedroom and two bathrooms with tub and shower. Paved garden with table, chairs, umbrella and rocking chair, private and free parking space.
The apartment is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, hairdryer, oven, microwave, flat screen TV, first aid kit, wi-fi. Possibility of cot, high chair, extra single bed.

Interaction with Guests

The apartment is for the exclusive use of guests. Useful numbers will be provided for any eventuality, but for emergencies it is always possible to call the owner.

The district

Perfect combination of the beauties of ancient Rome and the ease of enjoying the city center in a few minutes. Farmhouse surrounded by greenery in a bucolic and lush environment. In the immediate vicinity, supermarket open 24 hours, rent bikes, typical Roman restaurants especially in the Garbatella district, a true architectural gem of the early 1900s.

Other Things to Highlight

Common sense and decorum rules are required. It is not allowed to smoke in the house, nor to keep pets. Care is taken of the laundry delivered and compliance with the rules for separate waste collection. Check-in from 14, check-out from 10.
Self check-in is also allowed if necessary, instructions will be provided the day before your arrival.

The apt was run down, dirty, very outdated with ineffective appliances including oven, microwave, fridge, A/C and laundry. Old dirty couch, very dusty and even dangerous lighting, Kitchen tools very mismatched and old, no measuring cup, sharp knives nor scissors, no food storage containers. Definitely not up to American rental standards. Bedbugs, mosquitoes. Some windows couldn’t lock tight. No acceptable clothing storage. Did I mention bedbugs? Yes, but the owns totally replaced mattresses and bedding, however, they did nothing to kill possible infestations in couch or other locations! The owners were responsive when contacted and helpful in many ways for us.

Bien qu'un peu éloigné du centre de Rome, nous avons apprécié le calme de l'endroit après une journée passée dans la foule de la ville. Le bus le plus proche est tout près de la maison mais ne passe que toutes les demi-heures, ce qui est un peu contraignant. Adriano a été très disponible chaque fois que je l'ai sollicité aussi bien avant notre départ que pendant le séjour. La maison était très propre et nous avons apprécié les deux salles de bain, bien pratique quand on est quatre. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Merci à Adriano pour sa gentillesse. Evelyne

The owners are very helpful and attentive.

The property is situated among other apartments on the ground floor. On one of the evenings we had the upstairs resident move furniture and make noises from 11:30pm to 2:45am. It was impossible to sleep. I made a complaint to the owner the next morning, and she clearly spoke to that resident, as the resident met me and apologized. This to me was very welcomed and I was impressed by the owners and their commitment to our stay. Over all it was a good stay, and I was very pleased with the experience.

Entspannt in Rom

Da man eine kleine Terasse hat und etwas am Rande in einer sehr ruhigen Ecke von Rom wohnt, hat der Stadturlaub durchaus etwas Entspanntes! Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich ein großer Supermarkt (24/7) in dem wir täglich einkaufen waren. Andrea ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es fehlen ein paar Haken zum Aufhängen von Klamotten, aber wenn es nur das ist ;-) Wir waren mit unseren zwei jugendlichen Jungs sehr zufrieden!

Sehr schönes Ambiente

Das Objekt ist wie beschrieben, sehr schöne Lage und gute Mögichkeiten, mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in alle Richtungen zu kommen. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Mein Sohn war krank der Vermieter telefonierte sofort mit einem Arzt. Es war schon ein Gefühl der Sicherheit,dass man auch in solchen Fällen nicht alleine ist. Immer wieder gern! Sehr Empfehlenswert!!!

Very pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay for a week in this remarkable quiet part of Rome. We will surely recommend it to all our friends. There is no traffic noise at all and you can sit outside from breakfast to late at night. The house is situated in a green court yard away from the main roads in a business area adjacent to the Via Appia Park. No noise from the businesses around either. Excellent starting point for bike rides and walks. Public transport to the city centre is best from Piazza dei Navigatori. The short cut from Via Leon Pancaldo to Via Ardeatina, starting at the end of the parking area next to the Church St Francesca Romana in Via Luigi Capucci was difficult to find. You have to enter an iron gate to find the foot path. We had bad luck that heavy rains created a mud flow on the path, but it was cleared immediately the next day. Cornelia from the Netherlands

Fabulous property and owner!

Away from the airport and central Rome - absolutely quiet at night. Parking was next to the front door, inside of a gated courtyard. 200 yards from the Appia Antica (Appian Way), the ancient cobblestone road to Rome! The house is almost inside of the central section of the Parco Dell' Appia Antica, where we could walk to the catacombs and aqueducts. It's two blocks to a 24 hour grocery store, and to the bus stops to all of Rome. Andrea could not have been a better host. Kind and gracious. His knowledge of Rome extends from the history of the city, to the best emergency rooms! (Yes, he led us to one for a minor problem, when we didn't know where to go) We had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to have access to the city, and quiet security at night. Empfehlenswert

Die Ferienwohnung hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Die Lage ca. 10 km vom Flughafen Ciampino direkt auf dem Weg zur City ist ideal. Busstationen und Taxistation (Plaza Navigatori) ca. 350 m entfernt mit guter Verbindung in die City. Beschreibung bei FeWo trifft voll zu ... leider konnten wir aus Zeitgründen die Terrasse nicht nutzen. Die Lage bietet Ruhe nach dem Stress des Sightseeing. Wir können die Ferienwohnung wirklich weiterempfehlen!

Location à la campagne et proche du coeur de Rome. Si vous avez une voiture c'est l'endroit idéal car le lieu est parfaitement sécurisé. Andrea est quelqu'un de très serviable avec qui nous avons eu un excellent contact. Nous recommandons!

Très bien situé!

Bonjour Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison qui est très agréable et très bien située. On accède au centre de Rome par des lignes de bus qui sont situées près de la maison, et il y a aussi possibilité de laisser sa voiture garée, tout cela est très pratique. Merci à Andrea qui est très gentil et très disponible. Nous gardons cette adresse pour un prochain séjour à Rome.

Nice apartment south of centre of Rome

My 16-year-old son and I spent 5 days at Andrea's apartment. Andrea picked us up from the train station - thank you again Andrea! The place was really big for our needs, but also very convenient with the two bedrooms and bathrooms. All machines were in working order and the flat is very well maintained indeed. A big plus is the little outside area which is nice and shady. The house is in a very safe and quiet location, no street noise at all … however, the other tenants are very close with cars stopping and starting literally centimetres from the bedroom window. Somebody had visitors until late and although I can't say the people were particularly noisy, there was still loud conversation and cars and motorbikes coming and going until 1 o'clock in the morning, right outside the bedroom window. Another night there was a dog barking … you get the picture. However, we come from the countryside so this might have troubled us more than other people who are used to having their neighbours at close proximity. All in all, our stay at Andrea's was a very pleasant one :-)

RELAX A ROMA

Nel mese di giugno io e la mia famiglia (siamo in 4 ) abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno nella bellissima Roma . Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti in questo bell’appartamento da Andrea il proprietario che si è dimostrato davvero gentile e disponibile. L’appartamento è situato in un antico casale ristrutturato. Gradevole, pulito, silenzioso con un bel dehor con gazebo e dondolo dove poter mangiare e rilassarsi. C’è anche un canestro da basket con cui i miei figli hanno potuto svagarsi la sera al rientro (ricordate, se avete dei figli, di portare la palla !!). La cucina è perfettamente equipaggiata (utilissima la lavastoviglie). La biancheria camera/bagno è fornita. A disposizione wi-fi perfettamente funzionante e viveri di prima necessità (sale, zucchero, the, etc..) Inoltre abbiamo potuto parcheggiare l’auto all’interno del casale in un posto riservato e li è rimasta fino alla nostra partenza. Infatti consiglio vivamente di muoversi con i mezzi pubblici. Nelle Vicinanze un supermercato aperto 24/h , posta, edicola, bar pasticceria, farmacia. A pochi metri, da una stradina privata, si arriva in Piazza Navigatori dove passano i bus; con la linea 160 in 15 minuti si è in piazza Venezia, passando per il Circo Massimo e le Terme di Caracalla, con la linea 714 in 15 minuti si raggiunge la Stazione Termini e da lì con la linea rossa della metro in 20 minuti si è in piazza San Pietro. A 200mt sulla Via Ardeatina con una camminata di 10 minuti si possono raggiungere le Catacombe di San Callisto. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Siamo stati veramente contenti della scelta, consiglio a tutti. Un grazie ad Andrea e chissà… arrivederci Roma
