This charming Retreat is comprised of two separate rooms and a bathroom. There is on large studio room with a king-sized bed, as well as a fully equipped kitchenette, cozy seating and dining areas, a 43" flat screen TV, cable, and Wi Fi. The second room has two twin beds and 2 comfy chairs. Both sleeping areas have an Armoire, exterior windows with daylight shades, and privacy doors. The bathroom has a large double sink counter, shower/bath combination, hair dryer, and fully equipped with toiletries, plush towels and washcloths. There is a wall thermostat in the Retreat enabling the guests to control the air or heat. We also provide a heater, fan, extra pillows and blankets. Our Retreat is decorated with local art and a modest library. Guests have no steps from their car to the entrance or in the Retreat itself. There is a labyrinth of steps if you desire to take an optional stroll down to the babbling brook.
You will have access your own back porch with table and chairs overlooking a wooded area and a serene mountain brook. Perfect for having a hot or cool drink and enjoying the abundant beauty of the natural surroundings. You'll also likely see your fair share of wildlife, including deer and neighborhood wild turkeys. The property is located in close proximity to the Biltmore estate, Sierra Nevada, Flat Rock, and Tryon with fabulous hikes, zip lining, charming walks, and other outdoor activities nearby.
The house is non-smoking and will be cleaned once a week. The instructions on entering Mountain Brook Retreat will be given two days before arrival.

The Mountain Brook Retreat was the perfect cozy little cabin for our familyā€™s fall weekend getaway. It was in a great location for all the activities we plannedā€”Biltmore, hiking, Chimney Rock and more. The cabin was equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The hosts put a lot of care into ensuring our stay was perfect, with clear communication, snacks, and more. We will definitely stay again if we return to Hendersonville!

Quick trip to Hendersonville

This was our third time staying at this property and it was, once again, perfect! Itā€™s become our go-to place when visiting Hendersonville. The owners are wonderful and the space was spotless. We absolutely intend to stay again!

We loved our stay as it was very peaceful, in a beautiful neighborhood and almost to the top of a mountain. The roads were all paved and not steep, but we used our GPS every time we left the home so we wouldnā€™t get lost! We stayed for six days and we explored a different town each day we went out. There was a large variety of shopping and dining places. Our favorite breakfast place was the Mills River restaurant. I never met the host, but they very responsive through messaging on VRBO. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!! The thought of all the little things we needed. We even had coffee and filters in the cabinets along with snacks & drinks!
The last evening we even had deer down behind our room.

Hendersonville in the hills!

This place was perfect for our sisters trip! Communication with the property manager was on point and she was so easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again if we come to the area!

We absolutely loved the property! The space was beautifully decorated and spotless. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with the cutest patio area. Sharon made us feel right at home - the perfect host! We would most definitely recommend!

Amazing place and hosts!

We loved how cozy, well-decorated, clean, and maintained the place is! It was very easy to arrive and check in. My kids enjoyed reading Dr. Seuss's collection and walking down in the backyard, and we loved sleeping well in a great bed and quiet place, and the kitchen well equipped made our lives easier. We highly recommend this place!

Mountain Brook Retreat

Mountain Brook Retreat was very roomy, comfortable and clean. The owner has thought of everything. The property is secluded, but very easy to get to and if very convenient to Hendersonville and Asheville. We will definitely be staying here again!

Private, Cozy, Comfy & super generously appointed!

We highly recommend this place. The host Sharon is beyond courteous, attentive and kind and has loaded this place up with every creature comfort you can imagine. The house is perfectly situated, very serene and even has a beautiful babbling Brook towards the bottom of the property to enjoy nature. The king size bed was super comfortable, and there is plenty of linens and extra pillows and extra everything really. The entire home including the bathroom were absolutely spotless as well. We were very impressed and will look to stay here again when visiting our daughter and grandson.
