This 2 bedroom/2 bath condo is right on the beach, with wonderful views! This is a low density condo. It will get you away from the crowds, yet, it is conveniently located, giving you easy access to shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
This is a very popular rental unit. It has spacious rooms; updated furnishings and great views of the beach from every room. In addition, it has a large, private, balcony you will enjoy.

This was our 4th stay at 102A Spyglass condo. The Condo was clean as usual, fully furnished & most importantly, only a few steps from the beach. We enjoy the balcony with great views. The kitchen, bathrooms & bedrooms have everything you need for a great vacation experience. Highly recommend.

We had a most enjoyable time while there. Donna was very nice on the phone when I was asking a question about adjusting the a/c. However, it is past time to replace the mattresses.

Great Location and Very Responsive Host

We rented this property for 4 nights. The beach access was great and the host was extremely responsive. Clean with prime location to many great restaurant's. Would stay here again!

Absolutely had a wonderful time at the Spyglass and would recommend to everyone. Just steps away from the beach (literally out your door), private pool, and beautiful ocean views. Donna was wonderful to work with and responded promptly to my messages or calls. Look forward to my next trip

The condo was perfect. Excellent location. Beach access was amazing. Just a few steps away. It was wonderful sitting on the deck and being able to see the Gulf including the Dolphins that we were able to see a few times. The property was very clean and provided an amazing home away from home for the week. Donna was an amazing host. Very attentive and quick to respond to to messages. If you're staying in Gulf Shores we can not recommend this place enough. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing location!

Loved staying here. Closeness to the beach was the selling point! Very easy check in. Owner made sure to check in and make sure all was good. Great place to stay!

Great place

A great place to relax

We had a great stay! Donna was very prompt at answering any questions and helping when needed. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach and the shaded swimming pool.

Great unit. For the price. Great views. We will stay again.

Enjoyed our stay. Small condominium- light foot traffic. Steps to the beach. More adult atmosphere. Saved money on room and did some excursions. We will plan to stay again. This was perfect for me and my husband.

Great location, couple of minor issues

Great location in Gulf shores, but since it is right next to the only picnic access point in the area, the beach gets really crowded. The condo as a whole was nice but the mattress in the master bedroom was probably the worst I've ever slept on. I'm not sure what was wrong with it but it sunk in on the left side and wasn't much better on the right. There was also a small blood stain on the sheets of one of the twin beds.Finally, there is a picture in the listing that shows arrows pointing to two separate balconies, giving the impression that there are two balconies on the condo. There is only one and the balcony facing the beach is for the condo next door.

Great little condo

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is really nice and you can’t beat the location. My only complaint was the parking space. It was a little difficult to get in and out of with a Chevy Colorado. Overall 5 stars. The owner was super nice and responded really fast. We definitely recommend!!

Family beach getaway

My family had stayed at the Spyglass 20 years ago. We enjoyed it then and REALLY enjoyed it this time. The updates are classic and comfortable. The kitchen had everything. Bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms nicely renovated. The balcony was especially nice to relax on with amazing views. The property owner, Donna, is quick to respond to her guests. I would stay here again. What you see is what you get.

Excellent Views!!

Overall we had an incredible stay at this condo!! The views were great and the condo was nice and clean! I appreciated the use of the wifi! My ONLY small complaint would be the parking situation. Having an SUV it was challenging to get in and out of the parking lot! Seems like the property owners need to reevaluate that! Then we had to walk up to the street THEN we could access the pathway to the beach. Great GREAT place to stay!! The condo was niceand had GREAT AC too!!! We're very pleased with our stay!!! Tad pricey but I guess it's prime season for the beach!! Thanks Donna thanks for allowing us to borrow your condo!!

The view!

We loved our stay at Donna's place. The best part for us was the ocean view from the balcony and the quick walk over the dunes to the water. We went with 5 adults and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. The bed in the master bedroom is wonderful! If I'm giving a review in all honesty, I should share that the condo was not well cleaned upon our arrival. I had a conversation with Donna about this and she said she would speak to the management company about their housekeeping. Although it didn't help me for our stay, hopefully it will help someone in the future. I personally did some cleaning myself and felt comfortable after that. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.

Location Location

Overall our stay was good, but not without some problems that given the cost should have not been an issue. First of all the property on the surface appeared pretty clean. However, there was mold in the master bath shower that my wife had to clean, there was a spilled bloody mary under the bed in the secondary bedroom, there was food under the dining room table and the pillows really need replaced they were disgusting to name just a few of the cleanliness problems. Secondly, the dryer was not working properly but the host had someone out the following day. Thirdly, the upstairs neighbors allowed their children to ride scooters thru the condo which made our time that we spent in the condo less than quiet. Thank goodness we didn't spend a lot of time indoors. Given that you have to pay a cleaning fee as part of your stay more attention to cleanliness needs to be observed. Our host was fantastic, she even called me on our second day just to check on our stay. Like the title says location location just steps from the beach.

Nice place, terrible parking

Overall we were satisfied with our location and ease of access to the beach, and had a great trip. However, a few things stuck out in my mind. First of all the title of the listing “Renovated” is inaccurate. The use of high volume lighting made the listing seem like it was newly renovated, but in all actuality it is pretty dated. I think possibly the dining table light was new, however all the cabinets and lighting and furniture are all old. This made me question the overall value of the unit. I felt I was paying what I was for a “renovated” unit and it was far from that. Secondly, the parking is absolutely ridiculous. I witnessed multiple people falling off the concrete in their vehicles and getting stuck, 3 had to call AAA and we were able to assist others. It was more than tight parking, it was absolutely ridiculous. Third thing was, when we arrived and got our things in, the lights were unplugged and bulbs were burnt out, luckily found some in the closet. Also the floors had not been vacuumed before our arrival as there was hair and sand everywhere. There are no rugs in the condo to help catch sand coming in (and yes it’s the beach and I know you’re gunna have sand!), I swept up probably a half a sand bucket across the condo on our arrival. Overall we made it all work and had a great week, and I even bought a beach mat for the front door and left it as a courtesy for the next guest
