Lake Cabin on North Shore of Lake O' the Pines

Two story cabin located on a point with water on two sides. It is located in a quiet area of the lake near Big Cypress Marina and Longview Yacht Club. The house sits on an acre of land with plenty of trees and privacy. Entire yard is fenced for pets. The house has large walk around deck, central A/C, open floor plan, comfortable living area with fireplace, 1 bedroom and bath downstairs and 1 bedroom and bath upstairs. The stairs have an above average rise, typical is 7"-8", it is 8 1/2" with the first step being 9 1/2". It has a fully stocked kitchen with washer and dryer. The dining table seats 6 and 2 at the bar. The detached garage sleeps 4 equipped with its own refrigerator, stove, electric fireplace and projector. The deck wraps around the entire house with seating and fire pit. The large yard also has a fire pit with beautiful view of the lake. The dock is on the cove side and is great for fishing. The woods on the east side of the house are great for spotting deer. Wonderful place to relax, fish, enjoy family or play games ( indoor and out).
Historic Jefferson is only 15 minutes away with Antique shops, general store, Blackburn's syrup store, boat ride down the bayou, carriage rides,Jefferson Railway along with year round activities such as Ghost Walk Tours and Mardi Gras Parades. Caddo Lake offers boat tours that are breathtaking with the spanish moss hanging from the cypress trees. Shreveport, Louisianna is only 50 miles away with River boat gambling and live entertainment.

We had a fabulous stay at this cabin. All of our needs were met. The hosts go above and beyond. It was very clean, spacious, and super cute. It was even decorated for Christmas. I highly recommend this cabin.

The Christmas decorations were very warm and welcoming. The overall atmosphere set the tone for the whole weekend. We had a great girls weekend.

The cabin was such a delight. The kitchen is fully stocked just as if you were at home. Fenced in property to keep kids and pets safe. Such a lovely property. Family and pet friendly. Charming, peaceful, great views, wrap around porch, very clean, easy directions to the cabin, easy check in process, host experience was great with prompt communication. Will book again at this property fo sure.

Excellent location on the lake on a beautiful cove. Quiet neighborhood. Great big fenced yard and large deck would be excellent place for family gathering. Clise wnough to Jefferson for those who like antique shopping. Really enjoyed our stay here.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The grandson's enjoyed ping pong and their first time ever fishing. They didn't catch any fish but had wonderful, quality time with their Papaw.Our 10-mo. old puppy had a great time zooming all around the fenced in yard.The home is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Plenty of room for entertaining many, yet cozy and relaxing with just a few. I definitely will be back. Highly recommended!

Little peace of heaven on the lake

The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a family getaway . A large yard with a lake view . We especially loved the wrap around porch . The beds were extremely comfortable and all the comforts of home . Will definitely be back . Right down the street to the marina . Close to downtown Jefferson for a day trip of shopping and Kitts sandwich and pie bar is a must . Loved it so much

Beautiful view of the lake

We loved our stay here, the cabin is very well accommodated with plenty of places to sleep, towels, extra blankets, etc. The wrap around deck gives you a beautiful view of the lake and we did have two small children with us so we appreciated the fence all the way around so kiddos canā€™t go running towards the water. We plan on coming back for sure.

Great Christmas Getaway

Our family enjoyed the cozy cabin. It was decorated for Christmas, which was a pleasant surprise. The location was great, just a short drive to the quaint town of Jefferson.

Awesome cabin

It was great! We came out for my son's birthday and it was a blast. The beds were cozy, everything was clean and neat, the fact it was fenced for our dogs was a huge plus. Definitely would rent this cabin again.

Jefferson Cabin

We really enjoyed our trip although the cabin is in need of maintenance (deck railing loose,the out building toilet was not in working order,there are two gas grills one is rusted out and the other would only light but would not adjust to a higher level,the dock area has some damage and trip hazards)This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay

This was such a sweet and well thought out cabin and property! The host thought of everything you would need if you wanted to cook (we didnt do much but if we had wanted to, everything was there) and there were lots of videos, games, and books for entertainment! The best part of this place for us was the large amount of fenced yard for our dog to run and play! And it was so quiet and peaceful out there! The pier is on a cove and we didnt spend much time down there but I am sure it would be good fishing. I also liked that the loft room was enclosed for privacy of upstairs guests and had its own bathroom. We drove out to Caddo Lake State park which is recommended if you want to explore! Its a great park! Also ate at Kitt's in Jefferson and Bear Creek Smokehouse near Marshall. But really, you could stay here and find plenty to do if you didnt want to have to leave! This is a pet friendly cabin as we brought our dog. She loved it! I am not sure if you can see it in the pics, but the fencing has netting to keep dogs from escaping so this was a plus! Only a couple of small things to consider.. the internet is not exactly reliable here.. its here but it can be sketchy especially in the evening. But again, if you are coming to unplug, this wont be a huge matter for you. If you have dogs and want to walk them up and down the street, be aware that there are loose dogs around up the road from the property. Overall, a solid choice for getting out into nature and relaxing!
