Beautiful and Modern home with great Swimming Pool, everything is brand new, great for families, couples and group of friends. Very close to the Beach, Fort Lauderdale Airport, Expressway, shopping, night live, Hollywood downtown, casinos, Gulfstream Park, Aventura. Great location to enjoy Florida Sunshine! Please read the house rules.

Home away from home!!

Was here to visit family, the home was perfect in every way for what we needed. The house was clean, and the pool was the highlight of our weekend. This was our second time staying here and look forward to booking a bunch more times. Thanks to the host for great communication and your hospitality!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better house.

Everything about this house worked out perfectly, close to all and the person who runs it couldn’t be more accommodating. Don’t hesitate booking as we look forward to coming back.

Nice place with a great pool

Enjoyed our time on the patio and in the pool. Great kitchen area with new appliances and plenty of cooking utensils. Very suitable home for our family.

Inadequate

The property was fairly clean and the air conditioner was amazing. Very comfortable temperature inside. The house was lacking many necessary items that I usually find in a VRBO. There were no kitchen cloth towels. There were minimal towels for usage for showering no face cloths no hand towels. The kitchen was so poorly supplied. There were no steak knives no wine glasses no pot holders to handle things coming out of a hot oven. We were only there for 2 1/2 days and did not have enough toilet paper. Overall, I would make the recommendation that the host could have an excellent property, but he needs To improve the supplies left in the house for guests.

Adorable!

The house had everything we needed, and was perfect for us! The furniture was in good condition-couch wasn’t super comfy but you don’t spend a lot of time on it went on vacation! Rafael was super responsive to one small issue we had and we look forward to staying here again!

Hollywood Stay

First time booking with vrbo and it was a great experience. The place was clean which is the most important. Nice decor and great location. There was a small issue with the air unit and the host was very responsive. He sent out hvac within minutes and get it fixed. I was really impressed. I will definitely stay there again next time I visit Florida.

Good Stay & Nice Updates

Older home with nice updates. Had plenty of space for 4 of us; much better than being in a hotel room. Would only ask to have dish towels so we didn’t have to use all the paper towels to hand wash what we used. But wasn’t the end of the world. Easy to get in and out of, super clean and the pool was a nice touch!

Overall great value and location was within reasonable travel time of our fishing charter and other places of interest. Parking for 3 vehicles was ok a little tight. Nice room out back, but not very useable very hot, unless you set up a fan to push Air Conditioning . Overall again 👍thumbs up.

Hard knocks

The place was described very fairly accurate but it was somewhat dirty. The bed mattresses are awful and both my wife and I had pain in her backs every night. The host was gracious enough to get us a pillow top but would not firm up the mattress enough to help with the pain. The couch was a hallway couch that was used in an office that had absolutely no support to sit more than an hour without having pain.

Comfortable beds

I'd have to say the cheap price of this stay had me worried it might be a scam but it wasn't thankfully and to be honest, one of the best stays we've had. The beds are all comfortable, I slept great! The pool was freezing cold so we did not swim but everything was provided including beach towels and coal for the grill. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is cleaning the windows, walls and dust out if the fans. However I have to also give credit that there was a fan in each room and central heat/AC. Hands down I would definitely recommend this property to everyone I know and I would for sure stay here again. I would just suggest a better cleaning agency to the owner.

Small but functional

We had a great stay at this place, although the neighborhood wasn’t my favorite. The house met our needs in most ways and we weren’t too far from many places we wanted to get to. The kitchen is only good for bringing in take out, eating cereal, and making toast/sandwiches, etc Unless he adds more to it, you can’t actually prepare a full meal in there. There was no cutting board and only one junky knife. So plan accordingly. The beds were not comfortable at all. That is my biggest complaint. So you need to weigh your needs vs your wants and your options. But for the price, it had what we needed, and having pool access is a bonus.

Highland Garden, Hollywood FL

My wife and I booked the home to visit friends in the Miami area, hang out at the beach. Found the home to be as listed. If you are looking for a resort, then book at the beach for 3 times the price, We found the home clean and of course the parking was easy with the driveway. The home was comfortable and the convenience of being able to cook if desired, and wash clothes (11 night stay) was a plus. Home is located very close to the Casino, beaches and shopping, Neighborhood is blue collar and we had no issue with noise. We lived about 3 miles south of this house for 2 years so we knew the area fairly well. Back patio was great for sitting. Did not use the pool but the pool was serviced while we were there (nice to know). House could use some updated furniture/mattresses but it did not affect the stay. Towels/sheets were plentiful. Check in was easy and communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely rebook a future stay if available.

The listing price line does not match the property, location, and location

FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY “VRBO” has done a terrible job of verifying the location and price line of this property… Upon my arrival I noticed that the neighborhood was extremely rundown.. I entered the house and immediately noticed how dirty the walls and doors were for every room.. the bathrooms smelled like a dirty mop. The sliding door for the pool enter in the master room did not lock and they were using the leg off of a walker to jam the door.. that was rectified by the host but I had to wait around for hours for someone to come and fix it. There was only 3 pots and one was dirty and I was unable to clean it because there was no Brillo pad and dish washing soap. There was also no knife in to cut up my poultry, so I ended up have to purchase several items which I was reimbursed for.. but then I noticed that there was no extra toilet paper rolls.and had to purchase that.. there was no wash cloths, had to purchase that…I finally had a good day with no rain and I tried to enjoy the pool only to cut the bottom of my foot because they was broken glass along side the pool… I am officially done with this company… I am going back to booking hotels…

Would stay here again.

The property worked well for our vacation. We like a full kitchen bcz we have dietary restrictions. They had great pans, great BBQ tools, cooking spatula was marginal (could have been sturdier). I'm sure it will be remedied by the time you get there. When i had time I kept forgetting to tell landlord but he was very responsive with the couple things I did tell him. dishwasher worked well. If more than four of you and you want to dine together, you need to adjust seating and/or tables. Outdoor table does 5 okay. But we just bunched around coffee table inside and brought in extra chairs. Queen beds were great. People who slept in bunk beds said other person moving in night could be felt so they didn't sleep optimum but nothing terrible. Location is about 2.5 miles to beach. We rented bikes part of time and used buses to get there as well as for grocery shopping. There are a fair amount of bike lanes in the area. The pool was clean and appeared well kept. there were a couple balls and float type items. Laundry appliances worked well. Coffee lid was missing to coffee maker on first day. I texted owner and we had a new coffee pot delivered in less than 2 hours!! Not a lot of storage drawers for clothing but there is double hanging rods in each closet. For us, it was short on hangers, owner also responded promptly to this request and got plenty of hangers. Two closest bus stops were two and four short blocks away. Depending on when and where you are going, it can be very convenient but sometimes we ended up walking 15-20 min to get to a bus for the time we wanted. If renting a vehicle, there was plenty of parking space...probably for up to four vehicles. It was about 15 min. car drive to FLL airport. When we first got to the cross street from the main road (at night), we thought we were turning into a car recycling station but it's just an autobody business of some sort on the main street. Once you get past that, the neighborhood itself was fine and friendly, people waving and saying hi. We walked every night in the neighborhood and always felt safe. Wifi and tv worked well. The back porch/4 seasons? room worked well as an office for my son who was working remotely. It isn't heated/air conditioned but stayed reasonable (temps were usually around 80 outside). There is a patio table with chairs in the porch, as well as a sofa.

Passable

Bien situé pour se rendre a la plage d'Hollywood. Manque de vaisselle et d'équipements dans la cuisine. Nous étions 5 et n'avions que 3 assiettes dans l'armoire, aucun linge a vaisselle. Plancher très sale. Pourrais donner plus d'amour!

Séjour agréable

La maison est propre, bien rénovée. La piscine est un plus. Par contre, il faudrait plus d'équipement pour faire la cuisine.
