Thanksgiving/Christmas Celebration

The cabin was perfect for our family celebration. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we needed as far as utensils and cooking equipment. They had the cabin decorated for Christmas with a beautiful Christmas tree. The fireplaces, both upstairs and downstairs, were so nice, and we l we loved sitting and visiting around them. Darren was great to work with. If we had any questions he was quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Good Times!

We spent three days over the Thanksgiving break with our family of 18 and enjoyed every minute. We had a pretty drive up the canyon and easy access to the cabin from the main road which was plowed, even though it snowed most of the time we were there. Plenty of parking. The gathering areas on the main floor and basement provided lots of space for us to hang out and mingle. We loved the huge rustic wood dinner table that sat 14 of us. Sitting around the fireplace and wood stoves while looking through the large 20 foot windows at the snow covered aspens and evergreens. It felt like a fairy tale holiday. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were also comfy beds for everyone with quality bedding and linens. Loved the sitting room too to just relax and read with the views. There are lots of games to play along with a big screen TV for football and movies. Also loved the decorations with the wild west and Native American theme. It was fun to just walk around each room and examine the pictures and artifacts. Our kids are already asking when they can go back. Beautiful get away! (submitted by Andi Chamberlain)

Amazing Cabin

This was such a great cabin! The inside is spacious and very clean. There was plenty of sleeping space. We loved having a huge table to gather around as a family, and having an extra fridge on the lower floor was amazing. Our entire family really enjoyed the property.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Great time! All the amenities you’d need. We stayed a little over a week and we’re snowed in for a few days, but the cabin was absolutely warm and comfortable!

Hospitality at its best

We had an amazing time! Our group had a terrific time and the owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. You can tell Darren cares about each guest and did all humanly possible to make our stay memorable. The cabin is close to the best snowmobiling in Utah and just a short drive to Park City. The views from the deck and sitting areas are spectacular. We will definitely be back!

Great mountain cabin

Our family really enjoyed staying at this cabin in the beautiful mountains near Smith and Morehouse. The cabin was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Great family place

This was a great place for a family vacation. The owners where very good at answering our questions. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware,utensils, small appliances. I would suggest more ice trays or leave a small bag of ice for new arrivals. The main suggestion I have is there needs to be a TV on the main floor, we had little ones sleeping downstairs who went to bed early so we had no TV for grown ups to watch upstairs. The beds were comfortable other than the one on the main floor needs a new mattress. We enjoyed the sledding at the house and the large dinning table. It was great to have an Alexa and the gas fireplace was really nice. They had the driveway cleared for us when it snowed and that was great since we don't drive on snow being from Texas. We had games, blankets, waffle iron and sledding provided and that's just a few of what we had asked that was included. The Christmas decorations were really nice. One more suggestion, maybe a small step stool for the King bed in the loft, it was really high and for a short person was tricky to get up there. I think this place was awesome and has wonderful views front and back and our family of 12 fit perfectly and enjoyed our 5 day stay. Would be happy to stay here again.

The cabin is lovely, clean and spacious

We just spent a three day weekend at this cabin with our grown children and our grandchildren. We had a wonderful time! The cabin is beautifully decorated and well kept. It's exactly what I had hoped for as far as the ambience. The owner Chris was very helpful from the get go and provided us with all of the information we needed to make our stay go smoothly. The cabin was clean and the linens and towels were good quality. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was well stocked with the basics such as extra linens, towels, garbage bags kitchen utensils. We really enjoyed sledding on the hill just outside in the yard. We watched tv, played games and shared terrific meals together! The cabin has many windows that allow you to see the beauty of the snow all around. One morning we even saw dear just up the hill. Thank you for a very memorable weekend!

Amazing cabin getaway

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone! It was amazing. We were a little nervous because of our group size but we easily fit, and we couldn’t believe how big and nice it was, pictures can’t do it justice, you have to go see for yourself! The living rooms were big enough to accommodate our entire group of 15, upstairs we played games, and sat by the fire. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook for your group . Downstairs we watched movies every night on the big screen. Bedrooms were great size and the beds were very comfortable. On top of all that the cabin is located in a really cool canyon that has a river and big reservoir , it’s also a short drive To park city. Overall I would give this place a 10/10!

We love the outdoors and even more we love the mountains! Utah is filled with great scenery and adventurous terrain. We always wanted a cabin for large family gatherings and outdoor fun. It was important for us to find something with in an hours drive of Salt Lake City so nothing would hinder us from spending lots of time their. We found the perfect place! It has been such an amazing experience and we have loved it so much we couldn't help but want to share it. We started inviting friends and family to spend time with us and they enjoyed it so much they started asking if they could rent the cabin for their own family and friend fun. It has been amazing to see all the joy it brings. We recently moved to Southern Utah which limits the amount of time we can spend here. We decided to allow others the same opportunity as our friends and family to enjoy the property. We love hearing the stories of those who stay in the cabin and the great experiences they have. With so many adventurous things to do, there is always something for everyone, including Grandma who likes to just relax and enjoy the comfort of the cabin.

We looked for years but when we came across this property we fell in love with it. We wanted a spacious place that would accommodate lots a family and friends. The private 17 acre property gave us the space we wanted outdoors as well. We come up here to get away from the city and the high density housing where you can't escape all the hustle and bustle of other people. Our kids are safe to roam and explore without us having to worry. There is only one neighbor even within view of the property and they have their own 40 acre property.

Lots of space for sleeping, plenty of parking, enjoy activities right on the property or the short drive to other winter and summer activities. Easy year round access allowing you to come up and enjoy any time of year. Lots of space allowing you privacy and safety.
