SOBO house offers a relaxing atmosphere with great views and just steps from the sand. South Bowers beach is quiet, great fishing and relaxing.

The house was located in a great community 20 minutes from everything we needed. We felt like we got the best of both worlds, the Master bedroom faces what I would say would be the ā€œmarshā€ and the two other bedrooms face the ocean. It was great to have both views. We traveled from LA, so although secluded, I scheduled Walmart to deliver all of our essentials upon arrival and I highly recommend if youā€™re traveling from a distance to do the same thing.

Property was in a beautiful area. The house is coastal in decor, very clean, 360Ā° views. Property owner very responsive. One small piece of info lots of stairs might be helpful to prospective tenants. We enjoyed our stay.

Great spot for Vacay (& Lacrosse)

We were in the area for Lacrosse tourney @ DE Turf fields (Frederica) late June. Stay was fantastic! Great spot to relax and enjoy Delaware. Sierra was very responsive to our Qs, house has a ton of space with great views (beach and countryside). Couple tips:- need the tidal app. We made sure we were not driving in/out during high tide after our first night experience- evening High tide was 6.7ā€™ @8:30pm. We came back right at high tide and it was a bit hairy due to the tidal flooding. We had a minivan which rode low. Thought we may get stuck..truck/SUV would be fine. WX/rain will also impact. Wasnā€™t that big of a deal when we planned around it and knew what the tidal readings meant!- Swim shoes/bug spray. Beach is Shelly and had a ton of horseshoe crabs and sand flies. We didnā€™t swim in it but it was great for walking, hanging out, Bug spray is a definite must! Perfect beach if you had paddle boards/kayaks. We ended up swimming down at Rehoboth beach. (45 min south)- Lax families- parking at fields is 15 day. Park Mobile app is also a must as you pay for all parking in the areas through the app. - house has all kitchenware needs. Recommend groceries before coming in- we shopped at Milford. 2 Coffee machines - Keurig and Drip.We would definitely stay at the house/area again next time we come for Lacrosse. Great, quiet house and town!

South Bowers Beach

We had a great stay for a lacrosse tournament we were in town for and would stay again in the future. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Sierra was great to work with. The only down side to the stay was that we did not feel the beach/bay was swimmable, but still enjoyed our walks on the beach and searching for shells.

Lacrosse tournament stay

Convenient to the DE turf fields for sports. A good option vs staying at a hotel. Owners are very responsive to resolve any issues.

convenient for lax tournament

The house was fantastic and Sierra was so accommodating and easy to work with. The space was very comfortable for a family and the views were awesome from every side of the house. We were thrilled with the easy access to the Delaware Turf Complex. We enjoyed the quiet of the beach- it's very remote and we were sometimes the only ones out there. The only drawback was that the water on the bay was a little murky (couldn't see the bottom, LOTS of horseshoe crabs) so the swimming experience wasn't as good as teammates reported they had in Rehobeth.

Scenic, Quiet Beach Home

My family and stayed here while our son was participating in a LAX Tournament at DE Turf Fields. Very convenient location within 15 min of the fields. Plenty of room for my family of 5. QUIET, lots of nature around to enjoy. The house had everything we needed to cook after the games. Honestly no complaints from us except for the top floor with the bedrooms was SUPER hot about 78-80 degrees. I think the owners had just gotten a new system they were working to figure out, hopefully they can get that figured out soon! Sierra (owner) was very responsive about it and did her best to figure it out which I appreciated.

PERFECT

This was one of the BEST VRBO stays we have ever had, and we have had many. The property owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, even sending us ideas about activities relating to the reason for our visit before we even got there. We had little reason to contact her during our stay, but when we did she relied in moments. The house itself is on an amazingly quiet road in the middle of a magnificent marsh. If we never left the house the entire time we would have been perfectly entertained with beautiful wildlife sightings including herons, turtles and even osprey WOW! The house itself is REALLY cool with lovely hard wood floors and a fantastic spacious feel (just perfect for a friends and/or family vacation. In this instance the reality even surpassed the listing pictures. Needless to say, highly recommend!

Field Hockey Tournament Stay

We were here for the field hockey tournaments at the DE Sports Complex the beginning of April. This house is just 10 mins. away making it very convenient given we had a teen and pre-teen playing at different times. Once you get to the house, you would never know you are so close to the highway! The house is just a quick walk away from a private beach where beach glass and shells are abundant. The sunrises/sunsets/views are beautiful. You have something beautiful to see from every room. The house does need a couple of updates; mainly the kitchen stove. But overall the place was great and Sierra was quick to respond to questions. There was plenty room for 5 of us. The girls loved the fact that we could spread out and not be cramped in a hotel. It had been raining the day we traveled down so the drive in on the road to the house was a bit tricky due to water on the road. I have a truck so I went slow and was fine. I wouldn't have advised anyone going in with a car that sits low. Once the rain let up, the road had less water across it for the rest of our stay. Including high tide. This is definitely the place to stay if you enjoy a peaceful atmosphere with perks of the beach. It reminded me of an old fishing village. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful time

Sierra and Jason's property is top notch. Beautiful, clean, and well kept. The views are marvelous and the home has everything you need. This is a wonderful place to disconnect and relax. Sierra was great and easy to deal with. That being said, the location is quite far from civilization. The nearest store is about 15 minutes away. There's nothing walkable other than the private beach, which i must say is gorgeous. I would stay there again but make sure we come better prepared with food, toiletries etc...

Great stay!

We had a nice time in south bowers. Property had lots of decks and was very comfortable and clean ! Quick one block walk to beach - Easy drive to DE turf for tournament. So nice to stay at a home, rather than hotel. Definitely recommend for those attending events there!

Oceanside

It was very easy to find. It was also pretty close to grocery stores and the complex that the girls played field hockey at. The house was clean and very roomy. There were 4 decks to sit on and enjoy the nature surrounding us. Sierra was very pleasant to speak with and was able to take some advise on a couple things.

Wonderful Vacation!!

We just had an awesome time staying here! Sierra and Jason were amazing to work with, always responding to us promptly, and went over and above making sure our stay was great! This was the cleanest home we have ever rented. It had everything we needed to cook meals, the beds were so comfortable, and the bedrooms all had a TV. Our dog Max loved the yard, and we loved the short walk to the beach. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway this is the place for you! We are already planning another stay here!
