Downtown Cozy Condo -Walk to Best Diners, Breweries, NAU, Historic Flagstaff!

We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations, and we’d like to clarify a few points to ensure future guests have accurate information. Our vacation rental is a stand-alone property and does not share space with any of the independently owned restaurants on South San Francisco St. The units are located behind a secured gate, separate from nearby businesses. Regarding the vehicle damage, we understand how stressful that situation can be. After reviewing the incident on the security cameras, it appears the gate was struck when your husband misjudged his distance while you were in front and directing him into the property. We also want to clarify that the condo is stocked with a duvet comforter, extra blankets, and a variety of pillows. We also provide additional bedding upon request. Many guests comment on how comfortable the bed is, though we understand comfort can be subjective. As for the surrounding area, the condo is set back from the main street, and while downtown foot traffic can vary, it is not directly connected to the property itself. We truly value all feedback, and we’re committed to providing a positive experience for every guest.

Hello Stephen, We are so pleased that your cottages were very clean and that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for taking the time to text and tell us more specifically that you felt very safe within the cottages but rather that there are some homeless people in the downtown Flagstaff area itself. Sadly, the same homeless return to the corners of Phoenix downtown during the wintertime and there is literally a homeless problem in every downtown area in the U.S. including beautiful beach areas. Hopefully that will improve soon. Just to clarify, the Sunshine Mission on S. San Francisco St. only houses seven people that are actively in a program and they are working vs. transient. The homeless are not living there. Also, these cottages are set back far off the main street and secured with a big security gate. To date, almost all of our guests tell us that they felt very safe when staying with us and that the location has been great just to park your car and be able to walk to all the coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, parks and shopping.
