Bessat is an exclusive adult and couples ONLY secluded holiday cottage with private heated pool, gardens and beautiful views. We offer you a high standard of self-catering accommodation and set in over a hectare of grounds. The emphasis here is on peace and tranquility, the ideal location to relax and make yourself at home. Situated in the country between 2 bastides, Monflanquin, 5km listed as one of the 'most beautiful villages of France and Villereal, 8km, a lovely small town with an interesting medieval market hall still used for its lively Saturday market and located in the northern part of the Lot et Garonne, near the border with the Dordogne department. With easy access to both departments and within easy distance of Bergerac airport, a 30 minute drive, this is a perfect place to holiday. Bessat is a characterful single-story cottage with an open plan living space, lovely comfortable sofas and a welcoming wood-burner for those chillier times. The pretty bedrooms have superking size beds for a relaxing nights sleep and each has its own bathroom, one ensuite shower room and the other has a bath with shower overhead. Equipped with excellent WIFI access, English TV, DVD player and Denon music Centre with Bose Bluetooth speaker. You have your own private garden with heated pool and dining areas with shady places to relax. A secluded heated pool with comfy sun loungers, chairs and a further eating area overlooking the beautiful scenery. We also provide undercover parking. Surrounded by a land of sunflowers, medieval towns, vineyards, plum and hazelnut orchards and miles of beautiful unspoilt scenery. The area is known for foie gras, prunes, cheese and wine. The department has 200 km of navigable waterways and 3,500 km of walking trails, in addition, it offers beautiful built and rural heritage with its bastide towns, castles and beautiful chateaux.
