Pure Relaxation on Lake Michigan

NEW: Central A/C April 2022
Absolutely gorgeous property on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Three bedroom, two bathroom, ranch style home on almost 3 acres of beautiful property. There are stairs down to the 200 feet of private beach, approx 220, but they are not very steep. The stairs are shared with our other family home on the property to the north. There are tables, chairs, and umbrellas on the beach for guests to use. There is a deck with furniture and a grill, a fire pit in the yard, a hammock, and places to sit on the edge of the bluff. Come, relax, and see some of the most beautiful sunsets, starry skies, and whatever else nature can create.

Had a great girls trip here.Views were amazing, property was spacious and had room for everything. Close to downtown St Joseph’s making it convenient to shop. Would definitely return for another trip.

This property sits on a bluff overlooking the lake. Beautiful! It's remote and feels private, but does sit on State Road 63 with loys of traffic going by.All in all, nice cozy house that will meet your family's needs.

Location was perfect, the beach was beautiful, a bit of a walk up and down the stairs but worth it. Unfortunately the house wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, the just did get a cleaning lady out quickly. A delay in getting in however we had fun for the weekend.

Amazing Property

Beautiful sunsets, beach access, and 10 minutes from grocery stores and downtown St Joseph and less than 30 minutes to South Haven. It's the perfect spot to access everything the area has to offer! House was clean, description accurate. Second time visiting and looking forward to coming back!

The view is spectacular!

We traveled to the area for a family reunion and needed a house to accommodate some family members. This house is very nice, comfortable, and nicely decorated. However, the view, the grounds are beyond beautiful! We almost didn’t want to leave to attend the event! The view of the lake - sunset! Wow! As light broke in the morning over the lake, beautiful and tranquil. The picture doesn’t do the view justice.

Awesome Family getaway.

Wonderful Property. Family and extended family getaway. Relaxing mornings drinking coffee, tea and reading on the bluff. Afternoons sunning and swimming at the beach 200 feet below. Evenings grilling, and sing-alongs by the fire pit. LOVE IT!!! You won't be disappointed.

Easy and Relaxed

This property is as advertised. It is an extremely comfortable house which has been well cared for and was clean as could be when we arrived. Everything you might need is there and the layout is great. The view is terrific and the deck is the perfect for reading, napping, having a meal or snacking. You name it. The beach is very pretty and quiet. Yes the steps are a haul (up) but take your time. What’s the rush? The owner is extremely responsive and caring about the guests having a nice stay. 5 Stars!

Great location, stairs were a little rough on the legs but knew tgere were 200 of them before rental

Great location, supplies etc kinda a replenish what you use system, firewood available down the road, hammock was used daily by our adult kids, didn't use the grill as we brought food ready to go so we all could enjoy our long weekend vacay. Beds were cozy. Thanks for the great stay!

Great place on lovely property

Everything is as described in the listing, except that the lake view is even more spectacular. We visited on a cold and rainy November weekend, so enjoying the beach was not an option, but the view over the lake is to die for, and having the beach access must be fantastic during the summer. Very nice and comfortable house and great communication from owner. Highly recommend!

Beautiful beachfront!

House and property accurate with description and previous reviews. There is a lot of road noise but the cottage is comfortable and relatively well-equipped. The beautiful property with expansive bluff views of the lake made this a very nice stay. The stairs are in great condition and navigable but it’s a workout! It’s worth it for the amount of shoreline you have almost to yourselves. This is a beautiful space. Very close to town with some great restaurants and other things to do if you can pull yourself away from the bluff and beach!

Enjoyed our time

We celebrated our daughter’s 37th birthday with her husband and our 2 granddaughters. We had nice weather. So fortunate after all the rain we have had. The beach was awesome. We were close to Sarret’s Nature Center which the girls really enjoyed. Perfect place for our family to gather.

I manage this property for my Mom. I have been managing our property next door, The Great Escape on Lake Michigan, and my Mom's other property, The Cute Corner Cottage, for the past 17 years.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We have family that live in the area and she asked them to let her know if a property on the lake came up for sale. When she drove in she fell in love with the property and the view. We even bought the house and property next door, The Great Escape on Lake Michigan #4013, as our family grew. My Mom has never advertised her house as a rental before, but since she is not able to spend as much time there as she would like, she thought it was time to share it with others who appreciate it.
