Fleur De Lis - New Orleans Style Pool Home

"Fleur de Lis" is a lovely comfortable house that can sleep up to 9 in the friendly waterfront community of BayCrest. Its convenient location, attractive features inside and out and Bay access will make your visit to the Tampa Bay area even more fun and relaxing. Lush tropical landscaping surround the refreshing inground solar heated swimming pool, 250 sq ft screened lanai and wood sundeck in the fully fenced very private backyard.

The master suite has its own fresh bright bathroom, a romantic King-size four-poster bed and a separate sitting room with 32" plasma TV, queen sleeper sofa, desk and wireless internet connection. French doors open onto your private terrace.

The two other bedrooms share a bath. One has 2 charming twin beds (one with a trundle the accommodate a third person) the other bedroom has a Queen size bed.

The Kitchen is fully appliances and appointed, overlooks the pool and has a convenient breakfast bar. It is bright, clean and functional.

The Living Room has a 42" plasma TV, DVD player, delightful window seat and fireplace. The dining room will accommodate 8 but is also perfect for an intimate dinner for two.

A 1 car garage and laundry room with washer and dryer complete the house. Linens are provided.

Wonderful place to stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation! Beautiful house and pool close to stores and restaurants and easy drives to the airport and attractions. The hosts were amazing.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week! Our host was very helpful and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. The house and pool were wonderful - we'd definitely stay again!!

Great house in perfect location

Alex and Julia were wonderful and our 2 week stay went by so fast. This house is maintained and located in a quiet neighborhood with stores nearby. We would love to rent again!

Florida Oasis with French Quarter Flair

My family of eight comfortably enjoyed this beautiful home during our week of sunshine and relaxation. The neighboorhood is quiet and walkable, but within close distance to all the stores you might need. We were able to run just around the corner to grab our groceries for the week after arrival and still take time to swim. The rooms are plentiful, beds are comfortable, kitchen is stocked with all the necesities for cooking, and the space is clean. The homeowners are very attentive and there is a detailed binder of resources and instructions provided. We spent lots of time on the screened porch while our children enjoyed the pool. There is only one lounge chair for sunbathing, so if you have some bring them. You lose sun in the backyard around 5pm. Plenty of beach and bath towels are provided. Overall we greatly enjoyed our time and would certainly rent again. Thank you Alex and Julia for a phenominel​ stay.

Southern Belle

From the moment you pull up to this charmer, you are ready for the Mardi Gras beads.The beautiful glass and iron door opens to a huge living room with a bay window. The perfect place to curl up with a book or watch the big screen TV. Lots of comfortable seating for entertaining or just hanging out. The dining room is spacious with plenty of seating, stocked with books games and area information. Nice lightning, and french doors leading out to the lanai. The screened in patio was equipped with lots of seating and even a TV. The pool was perfect, even though it had been cool, the pool was still warm. An additional deck with even more seating was near the lighted barbeque area. The kitchen was large enough for two people to work in and had everything you need to prepare a nice meal. The small powder room was very helpful on the lower floor.The laundry area off the kitchen was very handy and stocked with beach chairs and other things one might need for a trip to the Gulf. We found our perfect place to hang out was the backyard. Why fight the traffic and look for parking? The small powder room was very helpful on the lower floor. The laundry was right of the kitchen, stocked with beach toys and very convenient to dry swimsuits. The stairs leading to the bedroom areas were not steep and easy to get luggage up to the bedrooms. The bedrooms had large closets, comfortable beds, and wonderful light. The master suite was a stunner, large private bath, king size bed with well-appointed furnishings. Inside the suite was a large sitting area/office with a big screen TV. Then off this area was the perfect New Orleans touch, a balcony with a table and chairs. An additional large bathroom upstairs gave you all the privacy you needed. This property has lots of parking. It is easily accessible to shopping, airport and all Tampa Bay has to offer. We found ourselves quite content to just stay in our little piece of the French Quarter. Julia, our hostess could not have been more helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Very Welcoming!

This was my second stay and Julia was so nice to us! It was far too cool for the pool this time but loved taking long walks around the nice neighborhood each morning...started to feel like I was at home. Very close to everything. We unpacked quickly and made ourselves at home. We had a lovely Thanksgiving with family close by and enjoyed the comforts of home!

Excellent vacation for the family!

Great house for our family vacation! The kids really enjoyed the pool and screened back patio area for play time. We spent lots of time outside enjoying the weather and cooking on the bbq grill. Plenty of space in the bedrooms for families or groups, and the central location in the Tampa area makes sightseeing and going to various tourist attractions very easy. Complete kitchen and nice dining area for the family dinner times. Quiet neighborhood and great location. Definitely will be back again, property is a great value and the owners are great people- very helpful, and concerned about keeping the clients happy!

Feels like home!

This was the second visit to this beautiful family home in Tampa that truly feels like home! Plenty of space for our family and still enough privacy. Great BBQ & pool in graden. Well apointed, practical & nice decorations. Close to shops. Alex & Julia are very welcomming & helpfull if any questions. We will for sure return! Thank you!

Great Vacation

We enjoyed this house tremendously. We came to Tampa for church camp so was not a home a lot of the time, but kids enjoyed the pool when we were there. There is a lot to do in surrounding areas sometimes it hard to choose which activity to do. The house is well supplied with everything you need. Wonderful place to stay. Alex and Julia made every effort to make our stay pleasant. Thank you

Great Place and Great Owners

The house is perfect but should you find you need anything day or night the owners will take care of it. No detail is overlooked. The location is perfect. I stayed with my dog and we found several pet beaches and off leash dog parks in the area. I have now stayed in all the owner's homes and will review them all. If this home is booked email and ask about their other homes. Thank you for the first class treatment.

Wonderful Vacation

Stayed in this beautiful home for our vacation in Tampa. The pool was wonderful, the kids had a great time swimming. The area was peaceful. Close to shopping and attractions. My family had a wonderful time and we would stay here again.

Awesome Stay!! Great Owners!!

This house was amazing! Alex and Julia were great and always available for anything we needed. The pool was so warm all the time it was very nice. The area is lovely and the house is close to everything. I hope we can return someday soon. At times there were 10 of us and we did not feel cramped at all. I would HIGHLY recommend this house to ANYONE!

The home was very nice and accomendating for everything we needed. The home is very spaciuos and clean. The pool is nice and heated, and the screened in lanai was great! The owner was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, and made sure the pool was cleaned every couple of days. Would definetly stay here again, and recommend to anyone looking for a nice vacation home to rent in the area!

Great get-away home to relax and enjoy a stress free vacation

We spent a super week at this home during the first week in May of 2011. The home was very well cared for, nicely appointed with nearly every amenity you might need and the owner was very considerate, courteous and responsive to our needs while we stayed there. The home is beautiful inside and very nicely appointed with everything from throw pillows and blankets to linens and bedding materials. The screened in and water-proof lanai porch area has a wonderful couch perfect for sleeping whether it is sunny or raining. The house is even furnished with books and games if you did not bring any with you! The kitchen was fully equipped and included items like a coffee maker, plates, cooking utensils, skillets and bowls and cutlery. All the kitchen appliances worked just fine. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, centrally located to shopping and entertainment (very close to the airport mall) and secure. The decor of the home was very thoughtful and followed a New Orleans style theme (that was reasonably authentic to someone such as myself who used to live in N.O.). The balcony outside the office off the master bedroom is a clever reference to the apartments in the French Quarter of downtown N.O. with tables and chairs where you may to sit and enjoy the night air. The large screen TV in the family room was especially enjoyable and a full complement of SAT TV programming was available. The DVD player worked fine too. The pool was very nice and enjoyable. Although it is not covered by a lanai and does require some skimming of leaves from nearby trees, it benefits from receipt of full sunlight most of the day which is very nice. During our entire stay, it remained warm and inviting courtesy of the functioning solar heater. The owner is very easy to work with and provided a combination access to the home which allowed for our late arrival without the need to transfer keys which was very helpful for both arrival and departure. It also prevents you from accidentally getting locked out of the home as well! All in all, this is a great place to stay. The owner was polite, responsive and easy to work with, the location ideal and the home provided everything we were looking for in a vacation rental including the privacy of a private pool. I would most definitely stay here again in the future!

A dream vacation

My fiance and I rented this BEAUTIFUL home back in the summer of 2007..it was only 800.00 then and we thought that was a steal bc she should have charged more...We brought my mother, his three kids and my two children and there was more than enough room for all of us..we are from louisiana so the fleur de lis decor made us feel right at home..it is close to malls, places to eat and lots of other places..the only complaint we had was that the washing machine would spit water out of the bottom every time you tried to do laundry but in the landlords defense we were her very first tenants so the bugs were still being worked out. March of the following year my fiance was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident, but some of the best memories are in this house...we stayed for a week and had the time of our life...if i could buy this houses and move tomorrow I would. When planning your next vacation I highly recommend the fleur de lis house for fun and a lifetime of memories!!!
