This beautifully designed apartment is part of authentic Mediterranean stone house, literally 20 steps away from the sea. Our holiday apartment is matchless for giving you that 'home away from home' feeling. It is comfortable, modern and spacious, with plenty of natural light and stunning sea-views .
The apartment is comfortable for 4 persons. It has bedroom with 2 single beds, common space with double sofa and TV area, fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 4. Private bathroom is with shower. Living room opens to a furnished balcony with beautiful views of the sea and surrounding area.
Bigova is perfectly situated for exploring Montenegro. Gorgeous view and charming Bigovo sunsets that you can watch sitting by the sea will make your stay unforgettable.
Once exclusively a fishing village, today Bigova represents the popular tourist destination of the Montenegrin coast, which, despite the development of modern tourism, managed to preserve the former spirit of the Mediterranean.

The Bay of Trašte, in which Bigova is located, due to its characteristics and shelter, is an ideal place for exploring the depths of the sea. Walking around the surrounding hills will give you special enjoyment in clear air and unforgettable views of the sea and the surrounding area.
Since Bigova is a fishing village, here you can taste numerous seafood and fish specialties at some of the local restaurants.
The main beach in Bigova is pebbly, and because of the peaceful, clean water ideal for children. In the surroundings you can find both stone and lonely beaches that are ideal for guests looking for perfect peace and relaxation.
Bigova is 12 km away from Tivat International Airport, and 20 min drive from Plavi Horizonti beach and Kotor Old Town.

joli et confortable appartement au bord du port. très bon accueil , Maja est de très bon conseil pour la découverte du pays. nous conseillons vivement cet appartement et ce joli village plein de vie ,situé idéalement,ou vous trouverez épicerie et restaurants dans lesquels vous mangerez d'excellents poissons grillés.

Bigova is a beautiful village - it is what it says, a quiet fishing village. Peace and relaxation

Bigova is around 9km over a hill off the Kotor road. It is a quiet fishing village with traditional houses and some apartments. The apartment is clean and has all you need, it is right on the waters edge - the water is crystal clear. My view is that you need a car unless you intend to stay in the village for your whole stay, there is a boat taxi, but it takes a while to get to nearby towns. We found that after trips to Kotor, a local beaches and the ferry, we couldn’t wait to get back to the village. Dejan is a great host, he helps with all you need and his family live nearby. Both restaurants were excellent and reasonable.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung!

Sehr schöne, neu renovierte (vor ca 2 Jahren) Ferienwohnung. An Ausstattung alles vorhanden wie beschrieben. Alles war sauber und die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend! Nur 20 Meter bis zum Meer und 100 Meter bis zum nächsten Restaurant. In Bigova ist es ruhig, also perfekt sich in Ruhe zu entspannen!

Nice location direct at sea in a quiet village

Very nice place if you plan to have a rest in Montenegro. We spent one week there and really enjoyed the location. There is everything needed in the flat and the owner is very helpful.

Bigova

We really enjoyed our stay at Bigova and our appartment. Bigova itself is a really nice, little, old fisherman village. The village is not touristic at all and one can enjoy some realxing days at the the seaside as well as freshly caught seafood in the restaurants. The owners of the appartment are really nice hosts. They offered their help all the time and they even organised a rental car for us and saved our holidays :)

Paisible et chaleureux en toute simplicité

Une semaine dans les Bouches de Kotor dans un appartement très propre , très bien équipé et conçu avec beaucoup de goût tout en restant simple. Vue sur le port, possibilité de nager dans une eau limpide dans ce port - même. Bien situé pour faire des excursions. Des propriétaires très gentils et disponible.

très bon séjour

A l'arrivée, très bon accueil avec boissons dans le frigo; ce logement situé à Bigova (ou Bigovo) est dans une petite baie à une vingtaine de kilomètres de Kotor ; énorme avantage, après le bruit et la foule, il est vraiment très agréable de se retrouver au calme. possibilité de parking à proximité (une centaine de mètres environ) très appréciable dans ce petit village. présence également de restaurants (très bons) et d'une petite supérette. On peut se baigner juste devant la maison. Location que je recommande fortement.

La vecchia casa rustica di Bigova è stata recentemente ristrutturata, ed è molto carina, curata, pulita e i gli ospiti sono molto gentili e disponibili. Il mare è a meno di 20 metri, la casa infatti si trova nel nucleo antico di un paesino di pescatori riparato in una piccola baia. Piccolo market vicino e sempre aperto, due ristoranti (quello più lontano è più costoso), e le Bocche di Cattaro vicinissime in macchina. Noi siamo stati benissimo.

Il posto è splendido, il mare è vicinissimo e limpidissimo; i paesaggi sono stupendi; le persone sono molto cordiali ed ospitali. Si mangia un pesce delizioso e freschissimo. Da consigliare sicuramente.

Wonderful and quiet location with superb views

A lovely little apartment with great views from our balcony. Two excellent restaurants within 400m. Beautifully clear water to swim in. Dejan helped us to plan the trip and Violeta provided a warm welcome when we arrived. The apartment was clean and well maintained. We would have no hesitation in recommending this to friends looking for a quiet retreat. Car essential for exploring the area.

Great views of quiet authentic fishing village

Bigova is a small, quiet fishing village. It was winding 9K from the main road, but the location was a functional base for touring or hiking Tivat, Perast, Kotor and Budva. Only one restaurant was open during our offseason stay, but it was good and another one opens during the summer. A market also offered basic supplies. The apartment is recently renovated and very nice. It was clean and well suited for an extended stay. Kitchen was well equipped, but we needed to buy drinking water. We thoroughly enjoyed the small balcony with its view of the sea and the village. Dejan was a helpful, accommodating host; he brought us some local wine, gave us advice about places to visit and was receptive to our needs. Wifi was not available while we visited, but we were told it is turned on 1 June.

Un petit port tranquille et préservé...

Très bon séjour, le logement est très propre et confortable, l'eau est à quelques mètres, idéal pour se reposer à l'abri du flot des touristes, en même temps à 20 mn en voiture de Kotor... Espérons que la nature sera préservée encore longtemps et que les habitants de Bigovo sauront éviter la course aux nouvelles constructions.

Nice place in Montenegro on the Adriatic coast.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean and neat. Bigova is a nice place to spend relaxing holidays. Great access to Kotor and entire region (Lustica Bay, Tivat, Budva,..). Would stay again!

Bigova is a small fisher-...

Bigova is a small fisher-harbour. It is in a beautyfull setiing with not so manny tourists. There are two restaurants, it is quiet and relaxed. Frome Bigova you can make some verry nice trips with a boat.From the main road ( Tivat-Budva ) you have to drive 9 KM to get there. So a car is needed.We had a lovely time there. Nantko Kloos.
