THIS PROPERTY FEATURES 2 UNITS This booking is for one unit only. This unit features 2 Bedrooms both with TVs, 1 Bath, amazing kitchen with open shelving and beautiful appliances. Gorgeous pool ready for you and yours. Full sized laundry room with brand new washer and dryer. Dock for catching a Tarpon or Trout while watching Dolphins and Manatees swim by. Backyard features grass to play in & palm trees to shade in. Landscape and Dock lighting make for romantic nights outside. Open floor plan inside is perfect for unplugging and enjoying each other. Property is fully furnished, we have everything you will need. Just pack your swim suit and flip flops to enjoy our Space Coast casual living. Private resort style living with a relaxed vibe. This property will not disappoint. We have already found the good spots for walking distance LOCAL seafood & cold drinks. The best beaches and hot spots are within 10 min so you are ready to hit the ground running on your vacation. However, this bungalow is so relaxing you may just choose to simply sit back at the pool and enjoy the sea breeze. Location close to everything. 45 min to Orlando Airport (MCO) and the Theme Parks. 15 min to Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral-a major cruise and leisure destination. 35 min to Kennedy Space Center. Five minutes from grocery shopping. If you are reading this on craigs list it is a scam. The outside pictures shows how the units are attached. Separate parking and entries, pool and dock are shared. There is a Marina across the street that offers a sweet little restaurant open for lunch and early dinners, protected dockage for extended stays. Bikes, Kayaks & paddle boards on property for renters enjoyment. SORRY NO PETS ALLOWED.- no exceptions.
Freedom Boat club is less than one block away if u are a member. This is a great time to rent a boat. - no daily rentals unless you are a member.

Check-in and check-out was easy. The host was very accommodating with a few changes we made to our reservation. The location was great and we saw lots of dolphins in the morning. Only grips were that he lock on the back door and the front door were tricky to lock. It was odd that there was a display to Venmo someone to replace the coffee.

The bungalows are lovely and the river view is just beautiful. The rental included everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

Great property, location and hosts

Property is beautiful, great views, beautiful back yard/dock. Nice quiet neighborhood with great restaurant/bar within a short walk. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely place!

I stayed here for a quiet weekend getaway and it was perfect. Such a beautiful space inside and out. The pool was great and the sunrises are not to be missed. Highly recommend!

Located on Banana River, beautiful views, quite location. Short drive to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Cottage was perfect, clean and relaxing. Just loved it!

Lovely property just as described and very helpful owner

We had a lovely stay here despite terrible weather. The property was just as described and like the photos, and was in a great location so we were very pleased. Christy was extremely flexible regarding check out, which made a huge difference the last day of our trip to Florida before we flew back to the UK. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

Beautiful home

The house was clean and comfortable. Pool is not heated but we lucked out and had really warm weather so it was swimmable. Would recommend. Watched many rocket launches.

Weekend fishing trip

My wife and I came for an extended weekend retreat, this was the perfect place!!! We brought our 17’ boat and kept it at the dock, water so clear you could see all the fish. Great fishing grounds all around within a couple miles…never stopped catching. Pool was an awesome amenity to relax in as well as the chairs under the palms. Definitely a place we would consider returning too.

AMAZING home and property! Just what the Dr. ordered! Exactly as pictured plus the breeze on the dock or poolside, beautiful sunrises, dolphin and manatee sightings, relaxation and comforts of home that you feel while your here. Second time at the property Modern decor nice pool. They were only renting out 1 unit because of COVID. But others were in the second unit. We are older so it would have been nice to know

Lovely

We were lucky enough that the other side of the duplex was empty while we were there. It was peaceful, wonderful, and beautiful. Dolphins and mommy duck and 10 ducklings visited us. The day we left, new guests arrived with boat hooked up to the dock, and 3 teens using recreational toys. A little different than then when we had the pool and property to ourselves. Be great to have own family sharing property.

Great Location and Comfortable Stay!

Not having ever been to the area before we were so thrilled to have found this place (it rarely happens that you get lucky like this). My wife and I were coming to visit our newly married son and his wife. Wanting to find a place where we could stay but also enjoy some time as a family - this was the perfect place. We were thrilled to find the neighborhood quiet and walkable (even though there are no sidewalks) with a great little outdoor gill just a block away. The house was very clean and well stocked (even had a fan for the white noise lover). The backyard was like a little vacation resort with a beach area and palm shade sitting. Kayaks for enjoying a short paddle out. We will definitely be staying here again on future visists. Thank you so much!

Sunrise Delight

Waking up to the beautiful sunrise was amazing. Unfortunately, this property is in the direct line of an airport for small engine planes so mornings are noisy with plane activity one after another the Saturday morning we were there outside enjoying the view. The kitchen offers a nice open layout and the beds are comfortable. We did have the benefit of seeing a graceful Dolphin swim right under the dock but no manatee sightings. We think it may be too cold in January for them to be out. Communication with the owner was okay but could have been more gracious and welcoming.

Home away from home!

Our stay on Merrit Island was amazing! We arrived a day early because a snow storm was heading o Michigan and Christine worked with us and let us check in a day early! We also added 3 days at the end of our stay and she was very accommodating! It’s not often when we are away from home that we feel like we’re home, but we definitely felt like that here! Whether we were at the house watching dolphins and enjoying the sunshine or walking the beach, we were completely relaxed! The unit was perfect for the 2 of us and our friends rented the other side for a week while we were here. We used the kayaks and had dolphins swimming around us and watched manatee right by the dock. The only thing I would suggest is to have a small vacuum in the unit to help keep the floors clean during extended stays. Side note, The Marker 24 Grill at the marina is amazing! Great fish, wine, and beer! Its been an amazing 2 weeks and we could easily stay for another few!!

Space Coast Oasis

This location is stunning. The big windows and modern, clean interior let the river view take center stage. We spent most of our time lounging in the backyard or fishing on the dock. While it was a lot of catfish, over our three days the two of us caught 34 fish. We also saw manatees and dolphins in the river. We were a quick drive to Cocoa Beach and many restaurants. The house had almost everything we needed. We felt like a couple of things were missing. There are two kayaks, tandem, and a paddle board. There weren't enough paddles to accommodate. While it wasn't a big issue for the two of us, as no one was in the unit next door, it could be an issue for larger groups. Also, there was only one bike to be found. Again, as this is shared between both units, up to 8 people, it didn't really make sense. Lastly, the shower and bathroom were beautifully updated and had plenty of towels. However, we forgot soap for the shower and there was none available in the unit. Fortunately, CVS was not far. Also, there was not enough towel hooks/holders. Most of the little issues were just that, little. It really did not detract from our overall feelings of relaxation at this property. A few additions and this could be absolute perfection, just like the view off of the dock. Thanks for a great getaway!

Loved This Home!!

I do not know how to capture in words how great it feels to stay in this home. The view of the water from the den and kitchen are mesmerizing. It was so fun to spot dolphins and manatee from the back yard and be able to hop on the kayaks and paddle right up to them. We had fun fishing off the dock and fishing from the kayaks. The Marker 24 Marina is just a few steps away and the Market there had all we needed to fish plus some and a great restaurant opened at the Marina when we were there and we ate lunch and dinner there three four times while we were there. The Marina is so clean and looks brand new. The fish at the restaurant is fresh fresh!! All the staff at the restaurant and the market were so nice - made me want to live in this area. The owners of this home were wonderful - so accommodating and communication was very easy! I sure hope we get to return soon.

This was one of the best family vacations we've had. The property has everything you could imagine, fishing off the dock for my husband, the swimming pool for our boys and I was able to relax on the lawn chairs reading! I would love to go again soon. ❤
