This exquisite straw bale home is perfect for a wine country getaway. The patio, outdoor fireplace, and grill overlook the beautiful yard surrounding the home and the local mountains. You will have a full kitchen, dining area, and a comfortable TV room. The home also has Netflix streaming and cable. The home is heated by radiant floor heating and a fireplace. It's been designed to keep the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter, so there's no place better than this! Even if the cold weather is too much, there is a wood fireplace available in the living room area. On warm evenings, enjoy picturesque sunsets before heading to bed.

In the heart of wine country, you will be surrounded by countless wineries and within an hour of Napa Valley. You will be just under ten miles from Santa Rosa, where you will find restaurants, shopping, and much more. Trione-Annadel, Sugarloaf Ridge, and Hood Mountain state parks are also in the immediate area. Just 15 miles south is the Jack London State Historic Park.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Think there should be a Tv in the main living area. Tv in master bedroom did not connect Perhaps provide some cards or games Kitchen was great for breakfast needs and we really appreciated the coffee.

Nice common areas ( living and kitchen) but bedrooms had poor lighting. Outdoor furniture very disappointing as it was all dirty. We couldn’t even sit outside.

Wonderful stay

This property was such a treat for my husband and I to stay in during our trip to Sonoma. We used it as our home base because it was located in the middle of everything we wanted to do.

Lovely, secluded property

This unique hay bale construction home is lovely, convenient, and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and there is plenty of space. We saw deer, geese, quail, herons, and lots of birds. The neighbor's rooster was a constant crooner but that added to the atmosphere. Note: The home is not air-conditioned. There are ceiling fans and box fans which keep the house at a comfortable temperature, but if you are heat sensitive, this might not be the home for you.

Awesome place

Nice rural location. Loved the rustic character of this small home on a big yard. Local visits by deer along with the sounds of frogs and roosters. I’d love to come back.

Beautiful home in the country

This was a real nice home in a rural setting. We saw deer and fawns and geese with gosslings. We also enjoyed the cornhole.

Our Third stay this year

Love the house and treat it as our own ; but the 5 star goes to 4 as it has some simple maintenance issues I will describe to Vacasa.

Really comfortable bed

Unique property and extremely comfortable bed in the primary bedroom. The only negative is the fairly dirty carpet in the primary bedroom.

Nice home

This home has a beautiful living space with a gourmet kitchen. We were able to cook and enjoy our time there. The location was the main reason we selected the property. Oddly there was no TV in the main rooms, only in one of the bedrooms. The bedrooms were nice, although the beds and pillows were hard. There was insufficient lighting in most rooms. The bathroom trim was very rustic and looked shabby. Unfortunately we experienced a sewage back up in one of the bathroom showers. This ruined our stay.

Kenwood Mess

The property was terrible. It did not match the description or pictures. Overall dirty, filthy carpets, door that did not lock, outside property dirty, no gas in BBQ, abandoned car in 1 of 3 parking spots, ...... We requested to be moved and Vacasa quickly did so. Although not in an ideal location for our plans, the property was better. They indicated they had complaints before and would remove the property from their offerings. They should inspect these properties prior to renting.

A great getaway

The property and house was lovely. The house was dusty and living room and most carpets were soiled. The alarm system ruined our stay as directions were poor and it went off every time a door was opened. I had my grandbaby visiting and she was truly scared by the loud sounds. It took us a while to get someone to help us with it. We got one good half day out of it. The pond was green and was not fenced. We loved the house but all of the above ruined our stay.

A little disappointed

Doors locked poorly and came into unlocked doors, tacky caution sign on one door, no patio furniture built , dry pond, linen on master bedroom and towels had a smell . Scary Trap door in master closet not disclosed and not locked . Master toilet backed up into master shower drain . No window coverings in most rooms ., no ice in ice maker , needs maintenance for the property . Spider webs throughout house.

Yearly visit to wine country

The property itself was beautiful! I thought we had found our yearly rental; however, Vacasa has left a bad taste. the hot tub was listed as an amenity. I corresponded with the owner of the house to see why we had to pay an additional charge for the hot tub and his response was for upkeep. Up on arrival, the hot tub was full of frogs and other debris and I contacted Vacasa And was told that it was not listed as one of our amenities, however, in the handbook laying on the bar where the guidelines for usage of the hot tub. Vacasa quoted on the phone that they would refund the hot tub fee. To this day that has not been done. I would rent the house again if it was under another company, but I would never rent from Vacasa again.

Lovely Property

Very pretty house and location. Know - there are no HVAC ducting, in the house, that I could see. I think the house heating may be radiant-floor heat. It takes +-36-hours for the house to warm up. Plan to be cold, your first night. In each bedroom closet, there is one of those portable, plug-in oil-radiator heaters. If you arrive and it is chilly, locate those portable heaters and plug them in, right away. That is the only criticism I have, of the property. Otherwise, it is a beautiful house in a beautiful, serene setting. I hope you enjoy your stay, as much as we enjoyed ours.

Vacasa 325 Hoff Road

There is no TV sitting room as listed. The TV is in the master bedroom with two chairs. The heating/cooling system is disappointing; very hot when we arrived and got too cold overnight. The management company has atrocious customer service. We notified them at check-in that the back door doesn't lock and the hot water spigot in the master doesn't work. We got lots of promises to send a repairman but no one came.

Average quality

We booked this vrbo for the location and hot tub. When we arrived the yard was very overgrown and almost unrecognizable from the pictures provided online. The hot tub was dirty and not functioning. After we booked the listing was updated removing it but it’s still heavily discussed in the reviews. Very disappointed in this. The only tv is in the master bedroom and has 2 chairs to be used during viewing. Very poor lighting in master bath. Loud chicken farm next door. Other than that the kitchen was ok, decent grill and house was clean.

Beautiful setting, cleanliness did not meet expectations

What a beautiful home and outdoor space. The pictures are very accurate. Given the price point, I was surprised to see mice multiple times during our stay in the kitchen and bedroom hallway. Also the freezer had an unknown substance crusted on the bottom on the freezer and there was broken glass in the ice bin. There was also a broken bottle and trash in the bushes to the left of the door. Also I sent many messages to the property asking about the proximity of the property to wildfire evacuation zones and it took 2 phone calls in addition to the messages to get my question answered.
