Welcome to your Florida home-away-from-home. Everything you will need is included - wireless internet, Roku TV with cable, dishes, flatware, towels, linens, washer/dryer and more. All queen sized beds have new mattresses. The Palm House has all the comforts of home.

The home features 2 living rooms. The front living room features a large flat screen smart television with plenty of comfortable seating and lazy boy recliners for a large group. The family game room features a 9-foot shuffleboard table, flat screen smart tv, puzzle table, sofa, and loveseat with seating around the fireplace. The large kitchen has all the amenities you will need during your stay with plenty of counter space including a large island counter with seating. The dining room seats six and we offer additional eating space for an additional six. In the backyard, you'll have a private lanai and gazebo with table and chairs plus a propane gas grill and a charcoal grill in large fenced in pet-friendly backyard. There is a covered front porch with a sitting area and a private driveway with plenty of parking.

The Palm House features 4 large bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms and 2,000 square feet. The master bedroom suite has a queen bed, extra large flat screen smart television, walk-in closet, master bathroom, and walks out to lanai. The mini-suite features a queen bed, dresser, smart television, and attached ½ bath. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, smart television, desk, power recliner, and large closet. Bedroom 4 has 2 twin beds. All bedrooms feature USB charging ports and power outlets on every nightstand. We have a new power lift recliner chair in the home. If needed, there is an available queen sized bed by Frontgate that can be setup upon request.

Location, Location, Location! On/Off Polk Parkway in 1 minute. Walking distance to restaurants and pharmacy with neighborhood sidewalks. Walk to HteaO for specialty iced teas. Walk to Andy's Frozen Custard and Dairy Queen for specialty ice creams. Or walk to dinner at Fuzzy's Tacos, Mission BBQ, Jason's Deli, and Steak 'n Shake. Just minutes from almost anything in Lakeland! Sun n Fun, Detroit Tigers Spring Training, Florida Southern College, Southeastern University, and Florida Polytechnic University.

Positioned perfectly in the center of the heart of Florida with easy access to the entire spectrum of central Florida attractions, beaches and activities: 30 minutes to Tampa, 30 minutes to LEGOLAND, 45 minutes to Disney, and one hour to Orlando.
We welcome parents, alumni and guests of Florida Southern College and Southeastern University as well as visitors for Sun-n-Fun and Detroit Tigers Spring Training.

Great location

Owners very responsive to messages and questions/issues. House was perfectly set up for us and my parents. My dad is disabled so having the lift recliner was a game-changer and one of the selling points of the home. The location is perfect in a lovely neighborhood that is literally minutes from anything you could possibly need. We would stay again.

Enjoyed Lakeland

Everything was great and as advertised. The area around here allows you to walk to several shops and restaurants. Only 30-35 minutes to Tampa! The house itself was very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. Heather was very responsive and accommodating. Definitely would rent here again!

Comfortable and easy

This is my 2nd time to use Vrbo so, still a newbie to the process. Was in town for my daughter's wedding. Location, location, location - this place was close to everything; food, pharmacy, Target/Walmart. The house has a nice setup and was comfortable. Outside patio was nice. We brought our dog with us. The backyard is fenced in and had enough room for her (she's a 35lb mini-Aussie). We had a little trouble getting into the house but Heather took care of it immediately.

Great family home

The home was well set up for all ages. Games, tvs, outdoor fire pit, grills, everything you could ever need was provided. Central location. Pets allowed, fenced yard. Cleaning company needs some improvement. Towels dingy and stained. Master bathroom shower tiles need to be scrubbed. Wall area around microwave had food splatters. Ended up not staying as long as we signed up due to a medical problem. Wish the three nights we didn't stay were refundable. Would stay there again.

Fun times in Lakeland

The house was super clean, it had a lot of room, and games were left by owner, WIFI worked, we had a great time, close to shopping and downtown Only 2 complaints, the A/C did not keep 3 out of the 4 bedrooms cool, and the fridge was not clean. Besides that , great accomiditions !!

Priceless family meeting

Property was exactly as listed. Everything went smoothly. We were able to reunite my parents, aunts and uncles for first after pandemic reunion. I would pick this Property again in a heartbeat

Clean, convenient and comfortable.

We enjoyed our weekend catching up with family after not seeing them for a year. The house was set up perfectly for socializing. Neighborhood has Nice sidewalks and fenced back yard for the dogs. The beds were super comfortable and the house was very well stocked with the basic needs. We loved sitting under the gazebo that had a great breeze and shade in the afternoon. Entry and exit were smooth. I would definitely return.

Beautiful home!

Everyone enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It was close to everything we needed In Lakeland. We would recommend this place to anyone. Well stocked and very comfortable. Thanks for a great week!

Excellent location!

Stayed at this property for a wedding. Excellent location. It’s close to restaurants, grocery stores, with some hidden gems such as this place called HTeaO and Mr. and Mrs. Crab. The backyard was perfect for our dog to play and run around in. Very spacious house with privacy. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to be close to things in the heart of Lakeland, who has dogs, and doesn’t want to feel cramped such as being in a hotel. The owner was super attentive and professional.

Lovely comfortable stay

This was a perfect place for kids and dogs and family to enjoy time together! We were unable to get in at first and the cleaning crew missed a flower pot with trash in it in backyard, but the property managers were very responsive. We loved the big backyard and available games. We would stay again!

Great home away from home!

We stayed for the week over Thanksgiving holiday to visit my son at Florida Southern College. The house was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for our Thanksgiving dinner! The yard is large and there is outdoor seating, a fire pit and grill. Heather was quick to respond to any questions. It is close to many restaurants, stores and the college. Don’t leave without getting a concrete at Andy’s Frozen Custard!

Pleasant Home for an Unpleasant Trip

Unfortunately we were in Lakeland for my mom's funeral. But the home helped to make it a pleasant and peaceful stay. Heather was a wonderful host and responded to my requests immediately. There was some issues with the A/C only because it was the hottest day of the summer so far (heat index over 100) and she had a repairman out in no time. I would stay there again but hopefully under better circumstances. It also helped that it was a block from the house I stayed in when I first came down for college in '81. Brought to mind some great memories...

Great Rental

This house is centrally located with easy access on and off Polk Pkwy. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The house was very well laid out with plenty of space for our group with a family room and living room to spread out. The property manager was great and responded to all questions I had. I would definitely reccommend this rental.

Nice Rental

We loved the location of this rental. It sits back from the main road but is within walking distance to restaurants & ice cream shops! We also loved the back yard- enjoyed a few meals out there. Only negative remark was on the cleanliness of this property. Talked to the property manager concerning the condition we found the house in. She was very concerned herself & glad to be notified about it!

Comfortable Home - Some Features Need Work

Overall, the home is comfortable home, a bit older but generally well maintained - it has "good bones." There is a ton of space, the shuffleboard table is cool. Kitchen is well-stocked. There are some amenities that keep this property out of 5-star range. They are: - Beds: Cheap frame with mattress, no box springs. Generally uncomfortable. - Blinds missing: Home has vertical slat blinds, and several were missing. Privacy is important - Roku/cable equivalent access was too confusing to use. Even with a tech-savvy 30 year old in the house. - Garage is locked/off-limits: Not the biggest deal (driveway comfortably held two vehicles). - This is a property where you really need to read the Terms and Conditions of the agreement carefully. It is the only VRBO house we have ever stayed in that requires you to start laundry before you leave. There is no guarantee of a 4pm check-in (wasn't an issue with us - but really?) As fellow VRBO rental owners, our takeaway is this property has amazing potential to be a solid 5-star with a few amenity updates and repairs.
