Mountain luxury at a reasonable price! Ideally located in Ketchum near the YMCA

Welcome to our Sun Valley home! The house features a reverse floor plan to maximize high ceilings, exposed beams and beautiful mountain views upstairs in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The lower level houses three bedrooms, rec room, bonus room, laundry, and heated garage. The house wraps around an outdoor patio which hosts a five man hot tub and a spectacular outdoor fireplace.

Our house is ideally located in a nice neighborhood near the Wood River, and at the base of Baldy between River Run and Warm Springs. The free shuttle service is a 200 yard walk and downtown Ketchum is a half mile away. Nearby there is a public trail leading through an aspen grove to the Wood River. Guy Cole Skateboard Park, paved walking and bike paths, and the Wood River YMCA are all within a 5 minute walk.

The house was designed by local architect Mark Pynn and built by Rick Walsworth, and won the 2012 Idaho AIA award for 'best use of wood'.

Good Vibes and Good Location

We stayed here on a couples ski trip - the big area up top is great for socializing and the bed rooms below are the right size and cozy. They could use more furniture upstairs is my only complaint but the location was ideal and would definitely recommend

Ideal location!

Wonderful cabin, so close to downtown and the slopes. Traveled with 2 small kids, and the bunk room was gold! We enjoyed the hot tub, fires (full stock of fresh wood) and fun games nights. Highly recommend!

We go to Ketchum every year for a fundraiser of our friend that has passed away. She was killed on Highway 75. We celebrate her by going fly fishing and enjoying the great outdoors in Idaho. The location of this home was absolutely perfect. We are close to all the amenities. We just wish we had more time to spend up there. The host was absolutely accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location and ample space

This place was exactly what we needed for a ski weekend. It had enough parking for a few cars, it was within walking distance of town (20 minutes), and had enough space for everyone to relax. There is only 2 bathrooms with showers in it for 10 people, but you just had to time things accordingly. All in all, a great space.

What a beautiful retreat! Desk space in every room allowed all of us to work from home.

Walking or biking into town was so easy. Great space, lovely neighbors, delightful stay. One of our favorites was building a fire in the outdoor fireplace to watch while hot tubbing!

Wonderful winter wonderland!

Had an amazing stay with our adult children. House was everything expected and then some. Very nice design and very clean and updated. Owner was extremely responsive and flexible. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home

Our family has vacationed in Sun Valley for years and this home was our favorite! Beautiful architecture and loved our stay. Quiet neighborhood that we enjoyed biking. Super close to all our favorite restaurants and the Sun Valley ice rink where our teenager attends summer skate camp. I highly recommend this property.

Family Getaway

It was nice that the bedrooms were all on one level and living space upstairs. With 10 people it was still easy to have space to yourself. House was well stocked with linens, and necessities. Really nice neighborhood. Premium Host Rob was super responsive which we really appreciated!

Great family home for winter visit

Very spacious and well appointed property. Lovely open fireplaces in main family room and master bedroom and well equipped kitchen. Perfect for our large family. The outdoor hottub and fireplace were great fun features. The owners were very responsive and check-in and departure were hassle-free. Short drive or shuttle bus from ski slopes. Would highly recommend this property for ski vacation in Sun Valley.

Nice house with multiple decks

What an awesome vacation. This house was in a great location as our son walked to the YMCA every morning. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. The response time from Robert was excellent. The only thing is that you need to coordinate showering since there are only 2 full baths with 8 people. Overall it worked out just fine though. Nice place

Perfection!

After two years of delays due to COVID, we were finally able to come to this beautiful home in Ketchum and see our daughter get married nearby. The owner, Rob, has been incredible from start to finish--not only changing our dates TWICE, but also sticking to the original price when he could have charged us more. A class act and extremely responsive. I never waited more than an hour for any response. As for the house, as we walked through the glass front door for the first time, all of us immediately said, "Wow." The pictures are great, but the house looks and feels even better. Massive beams, heated concrete floors, three amazing fireplaces, including the one outside by the hot tub, gorgeous kitchen, HUGE great room, THREE decks to choose from, cozy furniture. I could go on and on. We had all kinds of plans to go out and about around Ketchum, but we kept wanting to come back and enjoy the house. A magical, warm, cozy, and stunning place to stay. We can't recommend it highly enough!

Awesome stay in great location!

Our family of four (2 kids ages 4 and 6) had a fabulous stay here. We loved the location - close to bike path and Y and town and everything. The house was really spacious and comfortable and perfect for a family. We did a long term rental (5 weeks), and it was like home away from home. Had an awesome time and would love to come back.

Nice quiet area and friendly neighbors. Great location, near town and the YMCA, and the free community bus line. The house is very comfortable with lots of ammenities for kids (bunk room, games, piano keyboard, etc.). The house is a unique design, with craftsman features throughout, and in fact won the 2012 Idaho AIA award for 'best use of wood'.
