Folk Cabin! Secluded Modern 2 BR/2 Full Bath Cabin just behind Ozark Folk Center

The "Folk Cabin" is a secluded 2 Bedroom Modern Cabin with 2 Full Bathrooms located just beyond the Ozark Folk Center. Peaceful wooded setting located at the end of the road yet literally a couple of minutes from downtown. Location, Location, Location! Lost of wildlife in the area and we most always see deer from the front porch swing. The Rock fireplace (electric) in the living room sets the mood for your getaway in the mountains and puts off lots of heat with the heat feature turned on. The living room features an electric recliner as well as a reclining loveseat and sofa with recliners (talk about comfort). The master features a king bed and full bathroom and the second bedroom contains both a queen and full bed. The second full bath is located in the hall. There is a fire area outside with chairs to relax and wood for roasting marshmallows and smores. WIFI and cable TV are also provided as well as a fully stocked kitchen. Full size washer and dryer as well. We've also added a custom firepit with a swinging "cowboy cooker" grill grate for cooking!!!!

This was our second time to stay at the Folk Cabin, and we love it! Itā€™s clean, comfortable, and close to everything that we want to do in and around Mountain View. We will definitely be back!

The pictures did not do justice to this property.This was a gorgeous place in a gorgeous location. Very quiet and peaceful area and was kid friendly. Our little guy enjoyed roasting hot dogs over the fire in the fire pit provided and we were able to grill for the family on the BBQ grill. Was very clean and so spacious. Was extremely cozy and felt welcoming!

The absolute best place to stay! The cabin was so cozy and inviting! The cabin was spotless upon arrival and had everything you needed for a weekend of relaxation. This was my first experience using a VRBO and it was wonderful. The location was exactly what I was looking for. We saw numerous deer, turkeys and chipmunks, but the best animal sighting was this morning across the field, I got a chance to see a bobcat! AMAZING property, cabin ā€¦. Everything! If I find my way way to go back and visit, Iā€™ll definitely get this cabin again!

Easy booking and check in. The cabin is clean, spacious and comfortable. It is off the beaten path and the setting in the woods was quiet and easy to find. You do have to drive on a gravel lane for a short distance to get to the cabin and the lane is a little rough so your car will get dusty. For us, this was not a big drawback and the benefits greatly outweighed the small inconvenience. We truly enjoyed the attractions in the area and will certainly consider staying here again should we return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the Folk Cabin. It is close to town but still kind of remote. We loved that it had 2 bathrooms. Perfect for the two of us.

Family Getaway

We were in town to attend a class at the Ozark Folk Center. There were 4 adults that stayed at the cabin. We all enjoyed our stay. The cabin is awesome. It looked great in the pictures, but is even nicer in person. It is located on a beautiful piece of property that is close to town. Joey is very easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice, quiet Cabin

Weā€™ve visited Mountain View many times. This is the nicest, quietest cabin weā€™ve stayed in to date. It should be noted that the last little bit of the road is dirt and very bumpy. However, it is accessible for most cars. And for us, the peacefulness was worth it.

Come See The Folk Cabin in the Woods

The most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The cabin, in the perfect location, didnā€™t lack any comforts or needs. In fact we gave up a day of sightseeing just to hang out around the fireplace and catch up on some visiting. The front porch swing was a favorite place for afternoon coffee. The fire pit was the perfect end to every day.

Beautiful Secluded Cabin

This cabin was perfect and even better than the photos. The location is great for a quiet getaway and would also be perfect for a larger group. This cabin would easily accommodate 6-8 people. We saw plenty of deer throughout the day and other wildlife that made it an even more enjoyable stay.

We had the best time at the Folk Cabin! It was so clean (I'm a huge a stickler for clean!) It felt so comfortable, cozy, and safe. Our hosts were very responsive. We truly had the most wonderful time staying here. I hope we can come back!
