It is like walking into granny''s home. Yes, children are welcome and so are SMALL (less than 50 lbs. and no more than 2) clean pets. Property is 3 miles from the TN River, 5 from Big Sandy, 110 from Nashville, 90 from Jackson and 130 from Memphis Most of them are day trips! Perfect for outdoors people. Winters are mild, and only last about 6 weeks. I can show you back woods areas and would love to show you around on a side-by-side, which will accommodate 3 people plus me. Two would have to ride in the bed. It s like a very short pick up truck. Very rural area and there are two nature preserves close by, as well as other things to do.

I am glad that you had a great time, but you sure did me wrong. you left a broken chair, moved the stove and fridge, which I cannot move back...will have to call someone,two towels are missing...2 good ones! threw my afghans on top of the armoire, left the air on, used up my cleaners and tossed them back in the cabinet...took the bucket for the BBQ grill that is for the ashes, never took out the garbage...took the extra paper towlels.....JUST WHY????

Big Sandy Stay

Was a wonderful weekend stay! The place was exactly as shown and was so nice to sit and listen to the birds on the patio. Great view of the fall leaves! The place had everything we needed and more!Will definitely be back!!

Sulphur springs treasure

Charming, and very comfortable! Very much enjoyed our stay here, will make this my new lical staycation spot to get away. Owners/manager folks are the sweetest most accomidating folks. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy your peace and oneness with nature!

Loved having you here. If you come again, some things will be repaired or replaced that i was not aware of....fired housekeeper....had to....i did not know how bad it was...bring the kids next time. you can take them out on my side by side 4x.

Great place, beautiful property. Very cozy and spacious. Friendly, available owner who is willing to help with anything. This would be perfect for that hunting trip, fishing trip or just a short getaway.

Everything but it was hot. The AC definitely didn't cool. And theres no phone signal and the wifi didnt work after I got a new password from host. Need to spray for spiders. But it was a good place just needs a few tweaks done .

AC works just fine bit it can be temperamental..We pulled the others out as it has been so much cooler....spiders, yes, it's that time of year.....WIFI works just fine ...don't know why you had a issue. true, there is NO signal out here.Thank you for an honest review.

I loved the privacy that was offered. I never actually saw my hosts, but I did meet their adorable security team :) The host had to deal with my ever changing plans, but the two night stay worked out perfectly. Everything was clean and very usable. I loved the "yard" - a whole lot of quiet nature - Thanks for a great stay!!

Clean and roomy

Plenty of room for larger parties. Lots of amenities provided, including snacks, shampoo, washer/ dryer, etc. Had a nice stay but be aware cell service is very limited. Was able to use wifi at property.

We werent at the property a whole lot but while there we enjoyed the stream in the back and hearing the turkeys in the morning. Im horrible with names but we were greeted apon arrival and she was just the sweetest. They had everything u could think of there.

Fishing Trip

I took a fishing trip to Kentucky Lake with my family and this was by far the best deal i could have hoped for. There is a great splash pad nearby for the kids and the boat ramps close enough for morning fishing. The one warning i will give is that the GPS will take you to narrow roads that can be difficult with wide bust resorts.

Wonderful property

The location was good it was near my in laws. Also the owner and her house keeper Debbie were super friendly. Debbie came down and introduced herself to us the first full day we were there and I met the owner the last day right before we left. The second we brought something to their attention that was wrong they got with the handy man to get a repair done. Also when the full bathroom toilet was leaking on us they offered the upstairs bathroom to us if it was needed .

Cute, grandmas farmhouse

Property is quaint. Owner did call about an issue with plumbing day of check in. It was fixed before i checked in however because the floor was wet and the pads that was put down to absorb, there was a musty smell, almost like a moldy basement. Both my daughter and I ended up sick and I left 5 hours before my planned time because of it. Im sure if it hadnt been for the water issue it wouldnt have smelled.

I am so sorry that you got sick, but I did offer you a 100% refund if you wanted to cancel. I truly don't know, however that a smell on a 3 night stay could make you sick....lots of crud going around, lately....plumbing issue was a baby diaper stuck in the pipe, btw...last guests before you...smh....

Exceeded Expectation

The kitchen was very well stocked with everything, COFFEE, seasonings for cooking, condiments in fridge and much more. Laundry supplies, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and medicine cabinet stocked too! Owner, Diana is so kind, and Leslie is very helpful with anything and everything. Exactly what we needed! Thank you so much for making our visit possible. Thank you for providing everything to make our stay wonderful. Exceeded our expectations.

There's nothing i can do about the weather. Turn on the AC. Water roach? You are in a basement and it is damp....unless i use heavy chemicals which i am sure you do not want around children, one may be found. The dogs....i kept them inside most of the time.... nothing good to say..like you could have.... free food, free candy, got a little pool out for the little ones, use of my side by side....disappointed that all you could say was negative. i gave you a top rating, but you did leave the place mess.

Simple and clean, great stay.

This place definitely reminds me of my grandparents house. It’s cozy and off the beaten path. We had a lot of rain while we were there and because of the rain it had the “basement smell”, but there was dehumidifiers there and we helped empty them to help out the home. Very relaxing, sitting on the porch watching all the firefly’s at night in the tree line. The owners told us about Spring Fest so we decided to take the kids and had a really good time. If you are expecting a 4 bedroom resort look elsewhere. If you’re looking for something affordable and out of town give it a shot. Oh, yes the homeowner has dogs. Yes, they greet you every time you arrive. But that usually lasted about 2 minutes then we didn’t hear from them again.

Can’t give a fare review

We couldn’t stay and to review this property would not be fare as the property suffered a flood due to a water malfunction. The floors were covered in about two inches of water. We could see that when the mess was cleaned up it would be a great place with lots of room but it was just bad timing for both us and property owner wish her well

It was easy to find and quiet but I woke up in the middle of the night and it sounded like the homeowner was walking around on my level. They also wouldn't allow me to lock the door leading to the upstairs. I understand why, but as a parent of a toddler I felt it was a little bit of a safety cocern so we slept in the same room with the door closed. The water in the toilet was a funky light brown color and the water coming out of the faucets was cloudy and took a while to clear up. Both of which could have been from lack of use. We only stayed there 1 night and left early the next morning. The property looked to be well taken care of and there were clean towels and blankets waiting for us.
