Gold Creek 206 is a comfortable condo that has a well-equipped kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, a wet bar, a fireplace, views of the ski area, and a private patio. There are three smart TVs, one in the den, and one in each of the bedrooms. Bring the entire family, because the private rear patio boasts plenty of New Mexico grassy space to enjoy.

This condo is a short walk from the ski slopes at Angel Fire Resort, where you can enjoy downhill skiing and snowboarding. The surrounding area offers many other outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, boating, wildlife viewing, and more!

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Location for Skiing

Its right across the street from the shuttle and walking distance to the lift. Its 2nd floor with no elevator. Wall heaters and fireplace. Everything is as described. A little bit of dog hair (expected since its dog friendly). You really cant beat it for the price.

Location good but….

Good location, but very dirty. We had no water for a day then no electricity for another day. Cleaning people need to dust the place.

Great Location, Good Unit

This location can't be beat to walk to the ski lodge. Yes the unit is dated, but so is almost everything in Angelfire, it's part of the charm. The washer/dryer room was hard to find, there were no instructions, and one dryer didn't heat, but the other did. Fireplace worked great and rooms had heat. The "recreation room" listed is no such thing, it's really just a entry area. I really have no complaints and I would book this unit again if I was coming back to AF. Thanks!

Comfortable

This place was perfect for our ski trip. So close to the base, but it’s actually an uphill walk so we took the free shuttle which stops literally across the street every 5 minutes and we got there before our friends that walked up the hill. The unit is definitely dated, but clean and comfortable. Really a lot of space for a condo and a good layout. We would definitely stay here again. The only bummer is we missed our first night due to weather delays. We requested a late check out on our departure day to try to make up for it a little bit, but their only interest was in us staying another night. Vacasa was not the best to communicate with. Still loved the place though!

Close to the lift

Great location just a couple of minutes walk from the lifts. The property is dated but it was clean and offered everything we needed to cook a few meals. We needed a pet friendly place to stay and for the price and location I will definitely book here again.

Power wasn’t working right room was not clean when we got there people upstairs were banging doing construction all day until about 10 o’clock 1030 at night finally had to go upstairs and ask them to stopThey stopped for one day and started again the following night was in contact with the maintenance man and the maid who was supposed to get a hold of whoever is in charge never heard from her

The condo was clean, and was well stocked with the necessities. The decor is from the 70s, and it smelled musty. Considering the expense of this condo, we expected the furniture/etc to be more up-to-date. That being said the location is what sold us. Being able to hop on our bikes and get to the lift for the bike park in 5 minutes was great.

Meeting friends

We found the Gold Creek facility in Angel Fire NM well furnished, exceeding our expectations. We found it to be peaceful and comfortable. We especially liked seeing the deer walk right behind our condo!! And, we appreciated having the grass and weed area behind the condo for our dog to do business. Thank you for a great stay.

Even though it is dated it was very clean and well kept. The back area was perfect for the one dog that was in our group. The location is great. The whole building is a bit old and worn but it was ok for our stay.

Great Location

We loved this condo. Cozy and cute. The location is great. It has it's own private courtyard and you are a parking lot away from the slopes out the backdoor. That said, we had a few minor complaints. 1. Dog hair. Place seemed clean, but our human lint roller of an infant found dog hair everywhere. A fair amount of it made it home in our luggage. We needed pet friendly, but would have rather had a more powerful vacuum run through the place first. 2. Dirty dishes in dishwasher. 3. Bedroom door knob missing/torn out of door with splintery edge. Otherwise, the place was well stocked and very functional. Booking through Vacasa was easy and despite the issues, we would return.

Golf trip

The area is beautiful. Street construction was going on while we were there and we still had access to the condo. The golf course was very close and a great place to play. Condo was clean. My only suggestion is a little remodeling.
