Villa Kirvas is situated right in front of the sea which only adds to the ideal setting and location the bonus of seclusion and uninterrupted view. At the same time, everything you, as a guest, would need still is within walking distance. Aligned in perfect harmony with the natural environment and its earthy colors, the aesthetics of Villa Kirvas follows the concept of minimal and the utilization of everything and anything one can encounter in nature.

According to legend, Villa Kirvas got its name from the man who founded the city of Ierapetra -coming from Rhodes Island-, which was considered one of the greatest cities in antiquity. The villa is situated in the Ferma village right on the beach of Kakia Skala. Today it is fully renovated and redesigned with a modern flair, extending to 2.000 sq.m. The exceptionally designed exterior comprises a private beach area filled with luxurious sunbeds, pillows, and umbrellas, a grownups pool (4 m. x 8 m.) along with a kids pool (2 m. x 2 m.), comfy loungers, playground, two different pergola areas, 100 sq.m. grass yard, and lets not forget the pine and olive trees that complement it just ideally.
The pool heating system can be used with an additional daily charge for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice.
Find your very own zen spot through the various covered terraces and other seating areas that flirt with the sun, the fresh air, and natures healing scents.

The villa was very recently fully refurbished, and the two -attached yet entirely independent 2-story buildings- are the perfect choice for families holidaying together. Take advantage of the many amenities Villa Kirvas has to offer, such as the spacious covered terraces, gardens, decks with elegant sunbeds, or the barbeque area for some yummy meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. Lets put those skills to the test!

Only 10 minutes away is the city of Ierapetra (ancient Kyrva), where you can catch the boat to the stunning Chrissy (golden) Island. The famous Elounda town in Agios Nikolaos is less than an hour afar.

We had a wonderful vacation. The grounds were perfect for our family of 7 adults and four children under the age of eight. The kids loved the swimming pool, playground, and were completely safe due to the fenced yard. There are many beautiful beaches in the area. I am grateful for a comment about bringing beach shoes. I have to say that the two houses are finished nicely but they were small for 11 people. Two of my grandchildren had to sleep in the living room which was not ideal in the morning. Only one kitchen was adequate for us but it was completely set up for a large family and had all of the appliances that you would need. As Americans we were not familiar with them and could have used written instructions. Georgios was extremely responsive and gracious whenever we asked for something. This was an amazing family vacation and I would highly recommend it!

Peaceful beach hideaway

Ideal location on a secluded beach. Plenty of room to relax inside and outside. Walkable to restaurants. Responsive host who took personal care to ensure we had a great stay!

Charming house, great garden, calm private beach

Well-maintained property, very calm, but good located for trips to the sandy beaches, nice taverns in close vicinity. We enjoyed the private beach and the kayaks. The kids also loved the garden and the pool.

Lovely villa, and very responsive owner

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, would have preferred a sandy beach, but there is nothing the owner can do about that. The children enjoyed snorkeling by the rocks, and I enjoyed kayaking. Local restaurants were great, we didn't have to drive anywhere to eat in the evenings.

Very beautiful place

With our family of seven (parents with grown-up children) we spent a wonderful week in this great house. The direct proximity to the water (with comfortable sunbeds on the beach) and the leisure facilities (5 kayaks, table tennis, pool, barbecue) offered many possibilities for a relaxing and varied stay. The property is so large and has so many seating/lounging areas that you can always find an undisturbed spot. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very stylishly designed and offer a very cosy flair. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We can only recommend this great accommodation.

Zwei sehr schöne Häuser mit gemeinsamen Pool. Perfekt für zwei Familien. Man kann sich bestens erholen. Sehr stilvolle und hochwertige Ausstattung. Der Strand ist auch schön, aber sehr dunkle Steine und somit sehr heiss. Am Abend nach 16 Uhr aber super!

We had the best family time at George's villa!

Wonderful location, just a few steps from a beautiful beach . George was really nice and gave us a very worm wellcome . The villa had everything we needed, it seemed that a lot of thought was put into it in order to make the gests feel at home and we did! The garden and the outside area is simply outstanding!! Even hot showers outsids!!we had the best time as a family, i wish we could stay longer...see you next year!

High class villa with everything you can imagine, right on the beach.

yes, we had a wonderful vacation and the accommodation was fantastic, in fact surprising that we could not come up with any improvement or thing that we were missing. The 2 new houses are richly equipped and surrounded by several sitting /relaxing places in a peaceful area. The playground was perfect for our to kids . The sea with an almost private beach is right outside the entrance gate. Restaurants/tavernas just 5 minutes walk away. Access to pool and beach with bar and restaurant also 5 minutes. (Kakkos Beach and taverna). So yes, we can absolute recommend this villa and will definatly be back.

Perfect place for family holiday!!!

Words can't describe how truly amazing was our stay at this house. The pictures of the house truly do not do it justice. The views are beyond stunning and the outside space is so beautiful and serene. We didn't want to leave the house because it was so relaxing to be there. The house is a very clean (I mean it) and really perfect for using. Kitchen was my wife's favorite place. It's perfectly equipped. It has everything as in our home and even when we didn't know where we can find some devices for cooking, George was always there to help us with any issues. George was the perfect host. I highly recommend staying in George's properties. Do not hesitate to book this house, we made so many unforgettable moments with our family there! George thanks for everything!!! See you next year!

Beautiful Blue Flag Kakkos Bay

This property is right on the pristine water of Kakkos Bay. The house is small and simple, but immaculately kept. It is the third and last in a row of attached villas, but with a large, nicely planted garden and small olive grove on the side. The property is private, with gates, and there are three outdoor seating options making for pleasant times, even when the wind picks up. The beach is sand with pebbles and there are larger stones as you enter the water for about 4 meters, then sand. This made for tricky entrance for seniors (us) and water shoes were a must. But once in, the water is stunning. The area around Koutsounaris is interesting with many options for sight-seeing, other beaches, and places to eat. Giorgos is helpful in every way.

Superb family holidays in a wonderful house

Our stay was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The location and the house are just wonderful. We travelled with a big family and kids and enjoyed every minute of our trip. The house is brand new and very convenient. It takes literally 30 seconds to get to a crystal clear sea. The area is calm. We rented a car and had many trips to different beaches of Lassithi. The house has a convinient location to get to the best beaches of the region. Special thanks to Georgios who was very helpful and hospitable, always offering help and checking out if everything is perfect.

Great Experience

We were two families spend our summer vacation at Kirvas villa and it was one of our best vacation. The location in front of the sea was fantastic for the morning swim. But above all the service was the best you can get. After all that they organize for us a birthday party at Dimitris restaurant which was the best meal we had Georgios make us an unforgettable vacation and we sure we will come back there again and again.

Peaceful location next to a beautiful beach

We stayed in the Kirvas villa for two weeks and enjoyed every minute. We especially liked the large garden and olive trees. The house has everything what a couple or a family of four needs for vacations. As promised, a very generous welcome package waited for us in the fridge and the owner was very friendly and eager to help us with anything we needed during our stay. The beach and the sea are fantastic and just in front of the house. Moreover, during the first two weeks of July not many other tourists visited the bay. The owner, Georgios, also recommended us some nearby restaurants and we quickly discovered that our favourite one Taverna Psaropoula is just a short walk from the house. We will definitely come back in the future.

Incredible location & super friendly host!

Georgios is an excellent host; your contact person for booking and will send you any information you need in terms of what you could do in Crete. His personal suggestions are the the ones you should follow! The villa itself is unbelievable. This is one of the few properties ever visited and experienced where the pictures cannot describe the the beauty of the location and the villa. There are beautiful high trees, olive trees and pines in the area. The combination of the colours of the nature and the purple blue waters which are just a few meters farther away, cannot be described, unless visited. This place is so peaceful and calm where both your body and mind come to total serenity. Even though there is privacy, there are various restaurants and shops in the neighborhood where you can do your shopping and dine when needed. We had dinner sometimes in various restaurants but the most evenings had dinner at our lovely veranda enjoying the magnificent views on the sea and the beautiful colours of the sky! Inside, the villa was very well cleaned and the environment is warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped. All the little touches and details are very well thought out and during your stay you will hardly miss something. I cannot recommend Kirvas Villa enough; our friends and I were sad to leave, but promised to Georgios to come back the soonest possible! Thank you for all your great help Georgios! Welcome to Paradise! Unique seaside villa....

Our family of four stayed at villa Kirvas and couldn't believe how perfect the experience was. However, upon arrival we were so amazed and the villa was even more perfect in person. The villa is well decorated in a traditional style that instantly makes you want it to be your own home. The kitchen provided everything we needed for meal preparation.George was very helpful! The layout of the villa is perfect for a beach holiday. I plan to return again with my family and would highly recommend the property!!!

es handelt sich um das Eckhaus eines Dreispänners, also kein freistehendes Haus, dessen andere Ecke während unseres Aufenthaltes weiter um-, ausgebaut und renoviert wurde - das geht natürlich nicht ohne Lärmbelästigung. Die Innengestaltung der Räume ist mit schlichten Mitteln ganz hübsch gemacht, aber in vielem doch etwas karg. Zum Lesen muß man sich auf die Betten legen, denn Steh-oder Seitenlampen fehlen völlig und die Hängelampen sind mit zu schwachen Energiesparlampen bestückt. Die Sanitärräume sind sehr klein und eng. Der sehr große Garten ist relativ sinnlos bestückt, denn nutzen kann man ihn nur sehr wenig dank des doch eher häufigen, starken Windes. Nachts sind die rumpelnden Gegenstände dann keine echte Freude. Aussen sitzen kann man also eigentlich nur vor der Haustüre . (auf dem so hübsch fotografierten Balkon haben wir in 16 Tagen 3 mal abends gesessen) Luxus ist sicherlich eine individuelle Vorstellung, aber es ist wirklich "luxuriös" so nah am Meer zu wohnen und das kann man genießen, denn im Unterschied zu manchem Anderen in der Umgebung ist diese Bucht relativ romantisch und noch wenig touristisch. Selbst das kleine Hotel mit Taverne nebenan ist nicht allzu störend .

Beautiful property on a quiet pretty beach

Our host was responsive to every request and very gracious. The house and extensive garden were very comfortable and beautiful (just like depicted in the pictures we saw on line). The beach was excellent for swimming and snorkeling and even in the busiest day the area was fairly quiet - exactly what we were looking for. We appreciated being able to walk to several nearby restaurants and supermarket. Be aware this is one region of Crete that is somewhat far from the more popular destinations but if you are looking for a relaxing beach-oriented holiday we highly recommend the beautiful property and its excellent hosts.

So nah zum Meer hatte unsere vierköpfige Familie (Eltern und 5-jährige Zwillinge ) noch nicht Ferien verbracht!!! Gleich nach dem Aufstehen nimmt Mann Strandtuch (in der Wohnung vorhanden,braucht man nicht mitzunehmen )und läuft über die Straße,bereits im Badeanzug:-) drei Minuten und Sie können einen Ferien morgen das kuschelige Wasser des Mittelmeeres genießen ! Die Bucht mit der Wohnung befindet sich zwischen zwei Dörfer - Ferma und Koutsunari mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.Zu empfehlen sind zwei Supermärkte in Ferma,wo Mann alles,was man braucht,besorgen kann. Und ein eindeutiges Hightlight für uns - TAVERNA KATERINA in Ferma!!!Ein authentisches Lokal mit der Besitzerin,die mit Herz und Blut dabei ist,ganz herzlich ihre Gäste bewirtet und Deutsch spricht. Am Ende des Season,wenn es nur ein paar Tagesgerichte zubereitet werden darf der Gast sich für nächsten Besuch etwas vorbestellen-und es wird für Sie gekocht :-)))für Kids wird entweder aus Tageskarte oder auch nach Wunsch gekocht,die können im kleinen komplett eingezäunten Hinterhof mit Katzen spielen und Eltern ihr Essen genießen. Ganz köstlich sind Katerinas Mussaka,frittierte Zukkuni Scheibchen und geschmortes Kaninchen mit grünen Bohnen . Unbedingt hin gehen!!!

La casa está aun mejor de lo que esperábamos, los propietarios son encantadores, todo es nuevo y en excelente estado y frente a la playa. Es ideal para ir con niños, tiene un jardín y un patio muy grandes muy cuidados. Tiene una taberna al lado y un hotel con un muy buen restaurante muy cerca, y un par de supermercados también cerca.

Incredibe experience

We have never been more than 50 guests at the beach, with only a few small houses next to it. Amazing, if you consider that you have a small supermarket arround the corner and a nice tavern next door. You have the beach right in front of you, and the hills and mountains right in your backyard. Kirvas Villa is a tastefully renovated little house and George the owner is really taking good care of you!

Wonderful place in front of the sea!

What a peaceful place! I couldn't believe how close was the villa to the sea! The most amazing thing, in my opinion, was the breathtakingly beautiful sea view from the second floor.. Although, we were only 2 persons and the price was enough high for us, I don't regret it. I think, everyone must spent some time in a such magnificent place!

Fantastic place. Me my wife and our children enjoyed the sea witch was magnificent . We were surprised by the natural environment and the hospitality of the owner. We will try to visit it again for sure.
