Walk past the main home and through the expansive courtyard to access this private, upper-level studio apartment - once a carriage house as part of this historic Savannah estate. Guests are within close distance to River Street, City Market, and Savannah's best shopping and dining along Broughton Street.

A flight of stairs takes you from the courtyard to your second story carriage house entrance. Walk into the cozy bedroom, decorated with Southern touches all while keeping your comfort a priority. The Queen size bed is dressed in hotel grade linens, professionally pressed between each visit. With two large closets and a standing chest of drawers, you're encouraged to unpack your suitcase and even consider extending your stay.

The full kitchen is stocked with every essential you'd need to prepare a home cooked meal. Just beyond is the full bath with walk in shower.

East Broughton Street is swiftly becoming a bustling part of the city, with new restaurant East End Provisions joining the locally-cherished Cha Bella. Be sure to stop into Capital Bee Co. for a brick of local honey comb. Head due West towards the center of downtown and be greeted with Savannah's best shopping and dining options. On our list for must-sees: The Paris Market, Halfmoon Outfitters, Leopold's Ice Cream, and The Prohibition Museum.

Catch a trolley (or count those steps) and head South along Bull Street for a promenade through the squares, ending at the Fountain of Forsyth Park, one of Savannah's most famous attractions.

Parking: Metered Parking
Parking for this home is on-street and metered, with enforcement by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or utilize a nearby public parking garage. Pre-paid visitor parking passes are available for purchase at the Parking and Mobility Services office. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

Excellent location and clean, but quite bright in the bedroom. Suggest room darkening curtains because the streetlight is right outside the bedroom windows.

We knew that we were going to be out and about most of the time, so we wanted a cozy rental to come back to at night, and this place was just what we needed! Very cute kitchen and bedroom, and a comfortable, clean bathroom. The courtyard outside the apartment had a beautiful water fountain that we were able to listen to at night. And it is very conveniently located to river street!

Great location, but eh value

We booked this place specifically for location and the fact that it had a full kitchen. There was no frying pan to make eggs on the stove top and not one piece of silverware anywhere. Overall location was great, very walkable. Enjoyed nthe outside courtyard. We found mold growing where the 2 out of 3 doors were not sealed shut properly (so that there was only 1 door used as entrance.

Girls trip to Savannah, Georgia

It was a beautiful property to stay. It was set up very well, clean, neat and the bed was so soft and comfortable. The freezer needs 2 or 4 new ice trays for ice and the shower needs new sprayer with a good hose with greater water pressure. We just needed to turn around twice to get fully wet. The biggest thing to update is the picture on website shows the building in front of the one we were staying and it is not marked very well. Wr drove around it several times at night trying to locate. But it was a great trip andplace to stay for me and my best friend. Thanks for the wonderful place to stay. Lisa

It was great having a washer andd dryer in the unit.2 pieces of feedback 1. The instructions on where to enter the property were inadequate. GPS takes you to the front of the building but the entrance is on the side. The directions should specify the street name.2. The unit should come with a blow dryer. Nobody wants to pack one and I expected one to be there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is extremely convenient. We walked all over. There are 2 coffee shops within one block, an AMAZING farm to table restaurant just around the corner (Cha Bella), and everything else within a 1.5 mile walk. It's also a very easy drive to Tybee Island as the main road to get there is just around the corner. We were very pleased with the location. The property is sweet and nicely decorated. We were comfortable. There are a few things to note though. If you have allergies to mold, you might want to avoid. There are three exit doors in the property and all have visible mold. I first noticed it while laying on the bed, so it's noticeable. Another complaint, and my only real complaint is that room does NOT get dark. We tried unsuccessfuly to hang blankets and towels in the windows to reduce light from the street and courtyard. Its about the darkness of dusk. Bring an eye mask and you should be set. Blackout curtains, or curtains of any kind would be better! Finally, it didnt bother us, but you can clearly hear all conversation happening in the street or courtyard. Conversely, you can also hear the fountain, my absolute favorite part of the stay!! I wish i could sleep to that every day. Back to the mold warning,I do understand that this is likely a pretty frequent issue for many of these old buildings due to heat and humidity, but some might have trouble. All in all we would stay here again with sleep masks!

The carriage house (upper unit) is adorable and has everything 2 people need for a short stay- except I would add a mirror somewhere outside of the bathroom for getting ready- aside from that I think we had everything we needed for a great stay!

Neighbors were quiet. Just one thing I would change: the lights in the courtyard keep the apartment very bright all night, so I recommend blinds for the door window panels, or turning the courtyard lights off at night. I would definitely go to Savanna h again, and stay in this unit.

We’ve rented multiple downtown properties through Lucky and have never had an issue... I’ll prob try to get closer to city market next time but that’s a personal preference.. there is a trolly stop close to the condo which was convenient...

The nicest place for the price! Super cute!

My overall experience was excellent. I was thrilled with the price and the interior pictures match the description. The exterior looked a little sketchy at first, but it really didn’t bother me because the inside looked nice and charming. It wasn’t cleaned to perfection. It could use a deep cleaning, but overall it was still clean enough for my enjoyment. I do wish it had a couch/living room, but that’s okay.. you kind of pay for what you get. Overall, it was great and I would still recommend it to anyone on a budget that wants to enjoy the historic area. They had plenty of supplies for me and it was fully stocked and all appliances worked well. I enjoyed reading a book out on the balcony. Excellent A/C. A nice and pleasant stay!

Long weekend stay in Savannah

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My partner and I very much enjoyed our stay in this cozy studio. There is no living/dining space, but we had many activities planned for our days, with little need to spend time at home. The Management at Lucky Savannah was so kind and friendly, very helpful when needed. Overall the studio could use some sprucing up, there were no garbage bags, or soap/shampoo, the towels/sheets did not seem super clean (many were not folded but simply hanging in the bathroom, so I was not sure if they had been properly washed), there are some stains on the walls, and the vents could use some dusting. The location of the studio is super close to downtown Savannah, we were easily able to walk around and felt very safe. We would visit again, but would appreciate if some extra TLC was taken into account when cleaning the apt.

Carriage House

The property was just as pictured. The location was great - within walking distance to everything, but at the edge so you could still get a quiet night's rest. Everything that was needed was supplied - clean towels, small kitchen appliances and dishes/utensils, and a washer/dryer with detergent. The only drawback was the overall cleanliness of the space. Empty bottles from the previous guests were left under the bed, tabletops/mantle were dirty, and the walls/ceiling had noticeable stains. We were not sure if the stains were red wine or something else, but it would be an easy thing to fix so future guests do not have to look at them - especially the ones above the bed.

Very enjoyable stay

This propery is quaint and located perfectly between the historic district and river area-very walkable to almost anywhere you want to go. Clean and very comfortable bed. The washer and dryer was a plus as well as detergent supplied. Quiet area away from the crowds.

Perfect for a couple

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our time in the Estate Carriage! We walked everywhere because it was so convenient. The place was a perfect size for two people, floor creaks a bit, but that is part of its charm. Easy to access and we got to meet some great people in the courtyard to share stories. Street can be a bit loud with some cars, but not a problem for us. When we arrived the coffee maker and ice maker were broken; the manager responded immediately and brought a new coffee machine and ice cube trays. Such good, friendly service! Suggest two things to company: put a long mirror in closet and put sheet clips on fitted sheet so they don't pop off. Loved our stay and would absolutely stay again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This studio apartment was conveniently located to walk to almost anywhere you could want to go in Savannah. It was really cute and cozy!! The main downfalls were the lighting. It was much too bright at night and the bathroom light was never bright enough. The room is a decent size, but there is no living room. The balcony and courtyard are cute and nice to have, but it rained most of our stay so we hardly utilized them. Also, there’s no smoking allowed on the property, even outside. The sheet on the bed would not stay on, so we ended up on the plastic cover every night. The mattress was comfy though. There was no bar to hang clothes in the closet, and the toilet didn’t flush well. A full size mirror would have been nice. The cable didn’t work well either, but we didn’t watch much tv anyway. Overall, we had a nice stay and would return if possible!
