**Please note that from March 15-September 15 2026 Jacobs Landing will be having new roof put on all the builds. This will be a staggered project so not all buildings at the same time. Check with your host for more information. **
There are not many lower level 2-bedroom 1-bath condos with such an outstanding view at Jacobs Landing. Centrally located in Birch Bay you are close to all that our wonderful resort community has to offer. This condo is very nicely decorated and provides all you need for a comfortable and pleasurable stay at the Beach. The patio a great view of our famous sunsets. Inside you have a wood burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and much more. One room has a king size bed, the second room two twin beds and a sofa sleeper which is more comfortable for small children. You will have use of the clubhouse with an indoor pool, hot tub, game room, racquetball court and outdoor tennis. This property is pet friendly for additional pet fee of $100 per pet. (2 max) The Condo provides complimentary Wi-Fi.

Great View

I was surprised on how quiet it was. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t make it to the pool though, maybe next time!

getaway to Birch Bay

Property was very clean, somewhat dated but very functional. King bed was comfy, barbeque clean, fabulous view, easy to understand check in and out directions. The condo project also has a lap pool, and being a swimmer, I thoroughly enjoyed doing laps with no one else in the pool! Great location across from boardwalk and near restaurants. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your comments. I noticed you stayed during the highest rate of the year...July 4th weekend. The rates go down after that and go down even more after Sept. 15th. We hope to see you back.

Nice stay

Overall nice stay. They provided everything. Towels, paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs. So nice to not have to buy a bunch of stuff. Nice view. Comfy king bed. Updated washer and dryer. Would be nice to have had a new shower head and another couch. Living room only had one small couch so not super comfortable to all hang out together. Overall very nice stay with family.

Wonderful location and views

We had a great time staying at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday! The condo is as pictured (a little dated, but very clean and comfortable), well stocked, and has incredible sunset views. We loved being able to walk across the street to the beach and to the nearby restaurants and brewery. The host had great communication and we appreciated their ability to provide an early check in (which gave us more time to prep for our Thanksgiving dinner). Only reason for the 4 star rating are due to the pool facilities being fairly run down (tiling was missing in places along the pool interior and we noticed roots growing underneath them, and the roof also looked like it had significant water damage). Regardless of these observations, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Thank you so much for your review. In 2025 the clubhouse area is scheduled to undergo a complete revamp. New Hot Tub, pool upgrades, the installation of pickleball and more. Hope you give us another try.

Location

Went for a baseball tournament and we didn’t want to stay in Ferndale. We looked around and needed up staying here instead. The view was so great we ordered to go and ate out on the patio for dinners. Super nice there were several places to choose from for lunch/dinner. Coffee shop just around the corner. Candy store a short drive down as well as the water slides. Kids had so much fun! The grounds were ok. We did find garbage around the grounds, not at the apartment though.

Bay stay

Great view! Some maintenance work is required. Sliding screen door didn’t work, shower curtain rod is very flimsy and fell once. Toilet seat is showing extreme wear. Area rug is soiled.

So close to the beach! Hot tub didnt work

The house is basic and not that updated (old/tired in some ways) but the cost is acceptable and location is great. The hot tub didn't work all 3 nights and to be honest I couldn't be bothered to call the management company (canadian phone). That was a disappointment as we had a 10. year old with us and we also like hot tubs.

Nice condo but the pool is terrible

The condo itself is clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. We slept well there and the kitchen was nice for cooking, too. The only things about the place were that we couldn’t use the grill because it was covered in rust and the bathtub drained really slowly (weird showering, but OK because bathtub was clean.) We booked this place for the view, which didn’t disappoint, and for the pool. However, the pool was filthy! It needs a deep clean and to be better maintained. You can see the growth around the edges and filters, and the water felt gross. We left abruptly after getting in the water. That’s a shame because we had been excited to swim everyday.

Thank you for your review. We had a full house over Labor Day weekend with lots of people using all the amenities but when you shared with me your concerns about the pool it was the first I had heard about it from any of our many units we represent. I informed the HOA immediately so thank you for letting me know. Normally it is pristine. The bath tub was an adjustment needed to the drain. Took only a few minutes. We have people on property 7 days a week to respond quickly to any needs so if you stay in the future and we hope you do, let us know right away and it will be fixed.

Great Location but lackluster

My family and I have stayed at other condos in Jacob's Landing. The location can't be beat, direct view of the ocean, ground floor on a large grassy area for yard games. That is about where the positive review ends. It felt as if the owner threw a bunch of secondhand furniture at the place and has never actually been to the property. The condo was not clean. The floors were all dirty with dust bunnies and debri on them. The toilet was open and appeared maybe the cleaning crew used it then did not flush before closing up. The area rug in the living area had crumbs/ debris all over it and several puzzle pieces under the table (clearly showing it hadn't been cleaned very thorough). There were no amenities that I would expect to be in a rental condo. (extra garbage bags, hand soap, hand towels, Saran wrap/aluminum foil/ ziploc bags and salt and pepper) There are so many remotes for the two TV's however not one of them operates all features (changing channel, power on, volume) so you end up juggling 3 remotes to change the volume or channel. One of the dining room chairs was broken and should have been removed as my husband almost fell over in it when he sat down. All in all we will be back, just not to this property.

Our office is only two doors down and had we known about any of this during your stay we would have immediately corrected any issue, provided any supplies and certainly a discount as we pride ourselves on having a clean property. We had the floors professionally steam cleaned 3 days before your arrival so I am very concerned at what you found and will contact the company. Thank you again for letting us know and please if there’s ever a problem even something as small as needing a lightbulb or some saran wrap let us know right away using the contact info we provided and we will take care of it immediately

Great beach town and location

Communication was great with the host. She let us know about an oyster festival in Blaine that was so fun! Location is perfect. Views of the water and walking distance to a couple restaurants.

Relaxing Family Time

We love coming to Birch Bay and Jacobs Landing was a perfect home away from home. Clean and quiet condo, plenty of blankets and towells, easy to use facilities and close vicinity to Bellingham. Favorite spot...the big indoor pool.
