This Bradenton Beach rental makes an excellent location for an island getaway, with a location only a short walk from the beach ( just across the street)! You can enjoy a swim in the shared,, or relax outside - the lanai offers a great view of the Gulf of Mexico beaches.

This property's location places you in the heart of Brandon Beach and all its attractions. After a short drive north, you'll find bars, shops, and even the Bradenton Historic Pier, all only three minutes away. In addition, several other attractions can be found to make sure your stay is filled with fun and excitement! Take a drive across Cortez Bridge, and you'll find the Florida Maritime Museum. Feeling like bowling or catching a movie? The South Trail Village Shopping Center has you covered, and it's only six miles away!

Inconvenience

The property itself was not bad at all. We were not able to stay at this location because the door had been busted by the previous renters and we were not informed! Our first evening, night and morning we weren't able to even leave the condo because we couldn't lock the door. We missed dinner with family for the same reason. We made several phone calls and got nothing but confusion and run around. Nobody seemed to be able to help us. The following morning we decided to risk leaving the property and driving to the local Vacasa office down the street. Although they were not yet open we sat and waited while I was on the phone with Vacasa. PJ (the maintenance supervisor) arrived and when I explained the situation she did everything she could to get us into a new condo at a different site. She was very polite, pleasant and professional. She told us to go on over to the new location and if we had any problems please call her. She really made us feel like we mattered, which is something we didn't get from talking to anyone on the phone. I even sent pics via email but was told that they didn't know what we were talking about (even though they said they could see the pics). Needless to say, our first day of our vacation was completely ruined. We drove 15 hours to get there to a condo we couldn't leave. I was there with my sister who is disabled and my nephew who has special needs. It was not easy having to pack everything back into the car to move to a new condo.

Perfect location!

The condo was very clean with all amenities you will need. Perfect sunset view from the living room/ lanai. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Only stayed there 2 nights paid for 7.

I am very displeased with only staying 2 nights. The first night we got the wrong code and then could not get ahold of anyone because it was late. They did refund a piece of that. On Tuesday we were asked to leave due to the hurricane and the power and water was shut off. The hurricane Ian hit us Wednesday and we had to get a another place to stay. This was a national disaster and they should refund some of the money. I ask if we could go back on Thursday and they said no. I am very displeased with Vasaca.

Excellent Location - Some Tips and Observations

Absolutely loved the property. Neighbors very friendly as some are long-term residents for the winter months. Didn't realize it is two stories - which wasn't a problem, but not sure I read that in description. Actually three - one to get to door and another inside to get to bedrooms. Had a hard time with getting in. Electronic door lock didn't work. A Vacasa employee happened to show up while we were trying to get in. He went back to office and got keys for us. (note that the traffic is very slow moving all of the time) but it didn't take him long. Speaking of traffic. It is pretty much a steady crawl along Gulf Drive from 9 am through 6 pm. But it's not bad - speed limit is 25 and 35 anyway. Loved being able to walk across to the beach. Again, no problem with walking across Gulf Drive as most traffic is moving north and slow and will stop - just need to watch for cars going south. Beach towels, chairs - all there for you. Pool was beautiful. Had a couple of cool days before beach and the fence blocks the wind. Amenities not enough for a week. Had to buy paper towels, trash bags, shampoo and laundry detergent. Almost TP - lol. Also would have been nice to have some staples other than salt and pepper - like a few spices. We did rent a golf cart - note - no where to plug in an electric one. However, we had gas which worked out fine. Bridge Street is close and a lot of fun places to go and there is a golf cart parking area right after the round-about for four carts. It is also an easy walk. Maintenance could have been better. Along with the electronic lock problem, one of the fire alarms starting beeping in middle of the night - needed a new battery. We took the chance and just took battery out. Would have been nice to have some thing like that around - batteries, scotch tape, rubber bands bag clips - typical junk drawer stuff. All in all though - a very pleasant vacation temporary home!

Great location. Floors and stairs are very noisy from neighbors! Entry code was incorrect upon arrival and had to stand outside in the rain while the staff attempted to reprogram the lock over the phone.. finally they just have the code to the lock box. They place occupants directly next to each other and will not respond to noise complains.

Beautiful Area

The location on the island was excellent however the traffic noise could be irksome during the weekend and rush hour. Having a pool was also a plus since there were riptide warnings the entire week we were there. The two screened in Lanais were very nice to sit out on. The townhouse itself needs some updating and redecorating. The dishes and cookware were very old, mismatched and worn. There were no pans at all and no glassware, just plastic cups. The dishwasher needed replacing a long time ago. While plenty of beach and bath towels were provided, only 1 laundry detergent, two dishwasher envelopes, three hotel size bar soaps and one kitchen towel was expected to last 9 days. Many light bulbs were burned out. The second bedroom does not have two twin beds like it is pictured, but two sets of bunk beds. There is no table and chairs to sit and eat at even though there is room for a small one. We found a card table and two folding chairs two days before we left in a closet. Lastly, the hand rail going upstairs was very sticky and dirty. The property itself is very well maintained. We would stay at this property again but we would choose a different unit.

Lovely condo

This was a great place for our beach vacation. We sat on the deck for morning coffee and could enjoy watching the vista of the beach and the waves of the Gulf. Very relaxing. The condo was clean and comfortable. Loved just walking across the street to the beach. We had trouble getting in as the key lock wasn't working, but after a call we waited just 12 minutes for the maintenance man to come let us in. Vacasa was quick in helping, but it was a bit of frustration after a long day of travel. Everything else was great.

Great spot!

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Villa through Vacasa. Watching the sunset from our balcony was amazing. In the morning you wake up to the sunshine and it was neat seeing the fisherman on the pier right across the street from you. This condo was in a great location and an easy walk to the beach. We didn't use the pool but it looked inviting. There were lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance on Bridge St. We ate down there several nights and it seemed to be the happening place in Bradenton Beach. The staff at Vacasa was very helpful and the place was clean. We look forward to coming back.
